I have business, personal. credit card, Insurance and mortgage with Lloyds Bank. However, every time I have reason to contact with them, I feel that they simply don't care. I had occasion to set up a new business account recently, was sent to a branch only to be told I needed to apply online or on the phone (total waste of my time). I started to do the online application but had some questions, I phoned, the person I spoke with lacked knowledge and was dismissive. I subsequently set up an account with a different provider simply and easily. I may consider moving all my business elsewhere as am totally fed up with sub-standard service and speaking with staff who don't care.

They have stopped my account (because of fraud they say), I cannot access my money. I simply tried to move money from my account to my savings and that was enough for the to lock my account! I cannot even buy groceries. I am now on hour 4 of hold and still no further forward. They have me over a barrel as I have to keep holding in the hope that I will eventually get through to a human. But four hours now and still just ringing and saying, "thank you for your patience, please continue to hold and we will be with you as soon as we can" Shocking! Looking into it, I see that the CEO fired a bunch of staff and is now quitting this year, so I guess we have Antonio Horta-Osorio to thank for the lack of service we are all experiencing!

Really and truly an awful experience with Lloyds bank Cornwall. Had a business account with them for my llc. They randomly closed it but left no indication as to why they closed it. When a client tried to pay me I found out that they had closed it. Proceeded to spend 45 minutes on hold to speak with a representative who.... could not tell me why they had closed the account but recommended that I go into a branch where.... They put me in an office on a phone for an hour so that again- no one could tell me why they had closed the account. (Explanation from the representative: it was “weird”). I finally gave up and asked them just to open up a new account. Another hour on the phone. Another waste of my time. Avoid this bank at all costs. Plenty of better banks out there with decent customer service...

Please please avoid this bank at all costs as its staff are unable to respond to you as a person on the phone but to pass you around endlessly, do endless security each time you reach another person and then still not help but pass you elsewhere the cut you off for the fifth time!! Wasted 13 hours on the phone mostly waiting and still no help. In the branch they work on tiny tablets and if the don't work neither do the staff they send you home!!! After a nice wait outside first. Also all the outside ATM;s are always out of order yet across the road Nat West work 100% of the time. Is it a to make people use Nat west so staff don't have to fill up their machines?? Why no live chat on the internet bank to sort queries?? 0/5 is far far too high a score for NO service or help.

don’t go with Lloyds unless you want to be on hold for 2 hours and then finally get through and they say oh you have to go to another department and transfer over straight away then it’s another 2 hour wait I’ve been trying to get my account back online for 5 weeks now (my online banking) absolute terrible service

Sheer and utter disappointment in the enticing initial offers which were subsequently eliminated when it came to pay Sharks in suits - beware

I took out car insurance last year and the policy was very competitive but this year’s quote was approx 30% hike. Pigs at the trough come to mind especially after what we have all suffered this last year. Very disappointed. It doesn’t pay to be loyal,or maybe I ought to say they would like you to be loyal and pay for the privelidge. No thank you.

* After we went for our first appointment with a mortgage advisor. I had Experian, phone me, they basically asked me why I had submitted a mortgage application 7 times in one day. Turns out the mortgage advisor had submitted our details into there system, 7 times, incorrectly. We was unable to go to a different bank after this for another quote. As our Experian score had gone from excellent to poor and it took us some time to sort this out. * The 1st direct debit was set up incorrectly. Which meant we was charged a mortgage arrears charge of £35. *We contact Lloyd's and sorted this out but for some reason the mortgage arrears was still left on the account. *I rang, I emailed, I sent letters and I was unable to remove the mortgage arrears on my mortgage even though we got the money back for it. *Even though I complained a number of times and got our money back for the mortgage arrears, each time they paid us the money, they put the money directly onto the mortgage account and not the mortgage arrears, meaning it was still left on. In fact it did not go off, until, I finally had enough of them and decided to switch bank. *I wouldn't trust this bank at all and just so you know, they also own Halifax and Scottish widows, that I know of. *I wont be doing business with them again or any other company they own.

Lloyds bank are offering customers a free film subscription to RakutenTV. My advice is DO NOT ACCEPT it. Rakuten take your credit card details and then its virtually impossible to unsubscribe or delete the account. Their account simply does not offer this facility.

Having had buildings and contents insurance with Lloyd's Bank for years I took out a new higher level insurance last year after my husband passed away in order that I knew I would be covered in an emergency. I rang to make a claim giving full details and they sent someone out to be told my claim wasn't covered and I hadn't given correct details of the problem. Obviously the claims handler didn't note the details correctly. I am absolutely furious to be told its my problem and not theirs. I told them to listen to the recorded telephone call but no difference. I will never use this company again.

My daughter ordered various items from a company but when the box arrived it was empty. After the company refusing to replace items my daughter opened a complaint with Lloyds bank. The Lloyd's bank upheld the other parties refusal to refund or replace leaving my daughter with no goods and over £500 lost. Currently looking to take the bank through the small claims court. Cannot believe they did not protect my daughters interests or money! Do not put your faith in this bank

Lloyds Bank are quite simply dreadful They have a slogan... "by your side" This slogan is false in every sense They are not by anyone's side... Staff are pompous self important and hostile... They hate questions about service or process They closed my accounts without warning leaving me with no account bank card or money Truly a bank that should have their FCA license withdrawn Even their CEO is leaving after such poor performance Never go here and run if you already bank with them Atrocious Bank

Rang to resolve an ambiguity in a letter from Lloyds. Took over an hour to speak to someone and they transferred me as no resolution was forthcoming. I found myself back in the loop and eventually gave up. As ever, very poor service and treat customers like sxxxx. Probably change my bank very soon if there is any hope at all out there. Lloyds have done me no favours in 40 years of custom although I have always had money in my account.

Two months of trying to gain internet access to a charity account. Another 32 mins wait time today only to be, again, asked to confirm two recent transactions - on the account they won't give me access to. Can you see the problem? Lloyds can't. They must be haemorrhaging customers. It would have been quicker to transfer the account to another Bank - and it may still come to that. Diabolical customer service.

To anyone considering moving to this bank I can't stress enough to reconsider your choice, make a complaint about there service advisors give you contradictory information, without a long drawn review il give an example Asked to speak to atm disputes team was passed on to an advisor ask what department he worked for general customer services he says and I quote. Then when I stated that I wanted to speak to atm disputes he followed on to say that, that's the department he worked for after telling me he didn't. Atm despute team refused to take my call despite them advising you to call on a number provided which always takes you back to general advisors. Ask to speak to speak to complaints department was advised by a number of advisors that the department was closed and they where unable to transfer my call this has gone on for 48 hours then today 13/01/20 spoke to an advisor who transferred me straight through to the complaints team. One advisor was even willing to raise a complaint about there poor customer service. Please please stay well away from this institution your given false inaccurate information to put it bluntly lied to.

Very poor customer service. Took me several days just to change my telephone number. Still have not managed to do so. Just get a very long automated message and over 30 minutes waiting to speak to a human being! Lloyds bank need to change this as it is very frustrating. Thinking of cancelling my account.

You struggle to get there on phone Times, I have to be on phone 1 hour waiting to speak to their customers service. Lloyds has to change this and make it a bit easy for customer to get Quick response over the phone.
