“Saleswoman on phone incredibly abrupt like she could not be bothered. Didn't want to work through the quote; in fact at one point I said 'if you're not bothered I can go elsewhere'. Barely helped. In fact if it were not for my long standing relationship with MCE I would've gone elsewhere - she made the experience almost intolerable.”

“Forget renewing direct. Got a better price through comparison site. Also couldn't understand how I get an email 5 weeks after renewing telling me my policy has not been renewed though! Very worrying had to check my policy docs again!”

“The advisor I spoke to when taking out bike insurance was not prepared to listen to my needs and questions and even argued with me about the text I received. Abrupt, boarder line rude and unhelpful. I also have not received my documentation 5 days after taking out the policy. Not a good experience”

“There was a mistake with my NCB with only counting 6 years instead of 7 years that I have. I was told that even with the change the policy would not be any cheaper, which when doing it myself on line it was. But with you already have my money for the full term so why would you refund anything. If I had known this I would have gone somewhere else as with the correct number of NCB applied there were cheaper insurers.”

“easy to complete the process, although I did have to phone as the online process failed at payment level, the only down side was I had to go through all my details again with one of the guys even though he had my online ref number.”
