“Any Company that still persists in using a costly 0844 tel no for Customer Service only deserves 1 star! Save a fortune and use 01933 351361 instead! A 33% Broker Fee of £25.92 can't be justified on a premium of only £79.65. This premium was justified by "Scooter premiums have risen a lot recently" yet mine is a 8yr old, 9bhp, 125cc motorcycle (V5C says so) with 17" wheels (Honda ANF "Innova" ) so definitely not a scooter.”

“I was very pleased when I phoned up to renew my motorbike insurance on the 19th Jan to find it would be the same price as last year. And my documents were sent to my computer within 24 hours.This was good service, thank you very much. David Groves.Policy No/MC03UK2014588823”

“I renewed my same policy today and i did it with a guy who really eased my mind on the call and endured my worried personality. His name was Kevin Lewis in the bike section and i owe him for staying calm despite my not so pleasant, panicky attitude at the beginning. In the end i feel so grateful to have had HIM renew it. Great customer service. Thanks”

“Easy to deal with and good cover at a reasonable price. This is my third year year with MCE and my son and husband also have cover with them. Marked down to 4 stars as cannot get on line to view our documents and have had to get MCE to e-mail them to me”

“Spoke to paul last week for a renewal, very pleasent and a great price evan with my extra 3 points lol this is my fourth year with mce i dont have any reason to change as my insurance has more than halfed”

“Very pleasantly surprised that my premiums actually went down when they usually go up once they have your custom so hopefully that vein will continue so I don't have to keep changing. Very quick and easy to renew with docs easily accessible online.”

“Customer service was great, the lass did everything she could to help, but I I got absolutely bent over a barrel. By going directly to mce call centre instead of just going online they wanted nearly double the amount, apparently this is because they fill out the form instead of you, which means liability lies with them in case of inaccuracies.”

“Easy to use quoting system and a nice reminder a good length of time before renewal to ensure value for money. However, getting very tired having constant phone calls asking if I want to renew my policy, after renewing it - their systems tracking policies requires fixing to stop customer annoyance.”
