“After losing my licence due to a mix up with another insurance company I looked for an insurance company who would insure me with the driving conviction. This is now my second year with MCE and I have had no problems what so ever with this insurance company. Everyone that I've spoken to have been very lovely and understanding. Big thanks to Marc for helping me sort my policy today, he even got me a discount and reduced administration fees! A very pleasant experience and it didn't take long at all. I would highly recommend this company to anyone.”

“MCE gave me a competitive price so I went back to them this year. They do offer a very good comprehensive insurance and include breakdown cover too. Options are not always listed on their quote form, ie, NCP, so you have to call after you take out the policy to have it added, so that bulks up the cost when you add them up. They were still competitive, but not a huge saving overall, but at the end of the day, they are a reputable motorcycle insurance company that I am happy to be with.”

“I got my quote online for my CBR called up with the reference number and while on the phone to MCE I was given all information needed. One suggestion I would give is regarding the security elements on a policy, as an example my policy states the bike is kept on my drive which it is when I’m home but there’s no options to also state that I use a disc lock a grip lock a chain lock data tag and cctv for security of the bike”

“my Insurance was due and had my renewal! not happy with the price i used a compare site and MCE offered the same cover at half the price was very straight forward to apply and insurance cover was mailed to me within the hour! was a great service will look at MCE again when car is due for renewal”

“When taking out insurance the quote was £308. 00 there was a charge for monthly payments that totalled nearly £400.00 with an interest rate of 78% apr. I find this most disturbing when it’s not mentioned until you get the contract up to 48 hours later and not mentioned in the initial conversation. Please make it clear with other customers and this may be deemed as misrepresentation and taken up with the financial ombudsman.. please give all information and don’t mislead your customers. In light of this I will remain for the outstanding year and hope to see a significant reduction when the newing next year.. regards Ian Trafford MBE McPara Paramedic”

“Working in Insurance I should have known better. Went with MCE for a bike policy in 2016, had a non-fault accident causing serious injury on 6th June, it's now Jan 18 and it's still going on. I understand these things take time and I'm not back to full fitness but the solicitors they appointed (Fletchers) are dreadful (to call them incompetent would be kind). The solicitors all work part-time so you never speak to the same person twice. Letters arrive 2-3 weeks after they are dated. Medical care is always 10+ miles away from home. The medical expert says a 'serious and severe' injury and Fletchers send me a letter saying it's minor, I'm not even sure what planet they are on, I'm still having treatment and it will be 3 years since the accident in June! Every time anything happens I have to chase them, every couple of weeks until they do something. I had a medical exam in March last year, the 'expert' had his car broken into in June and my hand written exam notes were in there, 3 MONTHS after the exam. Data control isn't their strong-point either. All-in-all the worst experience I've ever had.”
