Try get hold of them to make a claun.... It's a joke. Always hear I'll call you back....IT issues.. and they hang up on you...

First they nearly cancelled my policy as they kept saying that the ncb hadn't been received, I sent it more than once and even sent it while on the phone to them and then they still kept saying they hadn't received it, eventually it got sorted. Then I went to print off a copy of my insurance certificate and there is only a temporary covernote available and if I want to request a copy of certificate (which they will email me)it's another £25 admin fee. I hope I don't need to make a claim as they would probably f#ck it up

Hi All, Just want to write about customer service within this company,,,, its totally dreadful! they just dont give an F whatsoever about treating the customer with some respect. will never come back to this insurer again!!! AVOID

Customer service is a miss representation of the phrase as this company is only interested in fleecing people for all they can get and blame the customer for anything that goes wrong. Missing paperwork. Information different to that filled in on comparison site. I think this is self service. I hope I never have to claim from these idiots as I believe it will cost me a fortune.

as a result of octagon and premium credit incompetence on a  matter of changing my direct debt payments gave me seven days to pay the outstanding balance this was none of my fault. so I made complaint against octagon and the staff involved in this matter.

Disgusting insurance company send your car in after someone bump into my car outside my house. Front end damage with an engine malfunction, they fix the body but not the engine malfunction. Even withoutinvestigating the problem they are 110% sure the engine problem is not down to accident and expect customer to take to dealer to pay for their selves. Absolutely disgusting I'm 7 months pregnant and have a disabled child but apparently that's not their problem. AVOID LIKE THE PLAUGE.

Absolutely terrible company, I have had nothing but problems with them and now they are processing a claim against me that was not my fault - without even gathering my evidence of 2 witnesses and cctv footage and admitted that it is cheaper for them to just put me at fault rather than go any further with the claim and I will be the one that has to suffer with paying additional insurance costs for the next 5 years!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. Solicitors will be involved but at my cost due to their scamming ways. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY STAY AWAY. I will be posting this on every site possible about them!

Sent them my proof of no claims! Rang them up and checked what I had sent was ok! They confirmed. But apparently it wasn't. They had my email, phone number and home address yet I wasn't informed that they had cancelled my policy after the 2 week period after taking a big deposit off me and letting me drive uninsured and illegal until I realised payments were not coming out. To top it all off they have charged me £75 cancellation fee...the cheek!! When I did call to see what the hell was going on I was spoken down to and when I threatened to take it further I was laughed at. Something should be done about this company! I've never had any problems sorting my car insurance before and have never been treated with such disrespect! Avoid!!!!

Absolutely lame company. They put me wait for an answer for 5 days, then they requested more documents and put me to wait another 5 days just to get informed that they cancel everything. They didn't even bother to send me an email. Thanks octagon helping me to lose my job for not being able to use my car.

I cannot give this company even one star! But they certainly get five stars for abuse and incompetence. They cancelled my policy with them due to their own clerical error. They claimed that they had tried to contact me (a lie). I never received any communication from them, despite they having my telephone number and e-mail address. I, by pure chance received a letter addressed to me at the town in which I reside. No actual address! For this, my policy was cancelled. Not satisfied with their breach of my contract, they then caused injury to my 81 year old mother by depositing a 'refund' to her account which caused that account to be suspended as neither my mother or the bank recognised the company and so believed the transaction to be an attempt to defraud. Due to my financial station, I am unable to get any justice through the court system. I strongly recommend that anyone considering using this company consider again.

My son was paid out after an accident. He had £370.66 balance of payment to pay which was expected...They actually took it twice and we are struggling to get it back. They dont reply to letters and its difficult to get them on the phone. I looked on their facebook page and was disgusted to see they were making rude comments on customer comments, even making fun of the customers spelling. I asked about their complaints procedure and they sent me a picture of a laughing face...This is totally unacceptable and i have never seen anything like it. I am making a complaint about this.

From day one I have been messed about by these idiots, not one person seems to undestand payment schedules. What is the point in them giving the facility to change payment dates when they don't stick to it. Not only do I keep receiving numerous default letters, bit they have the audacity to charge me fees along with my bank charging me for failed direct debits due to them not honouring payment dates. I have phoned them so many times and they blame premium credit, premium credit blame ocagon so I find myself going backwards and forwards between the 2 of them. Do not let use this insurance company and stay car of premium finance. This is a complete bunch of idiots bumbling around without a clue.

I was insured with them , they did nor update the MID so i was showing uninsured they have made so many mistakes.when you try to call customer services its a high rate call and they leave you on hold for ages , avoid like the plague ,

Been in Tears many times as no one shows you compassion, I was reversed into by another driver whilst she was on her mobile phone my witness confirmed this on the telephone but has delayed with the written form due to a family tragedy and I have had to do all the phone calls to Octagon this is month 5 and still messing with me and increased my monthly insurance by double. took 3 weeks for them to arrange for a courtesy car which was a 4x4 and cost me double in petrol. over all don't use as if you have an issue you are hit with standard one liners ....... stressed self employed mother of 2 ....

Had insurance with them everything was fine untill they have asked us the counterpart for driving licence. I said we don't have them anymore they should now as a motoring insurance company they are not requested by law anymore. They said to send the DVLA codes which we did 2 days before due date. On due date they called us to call back as my policy is about to get canceled. I called when I finished work at 6.30 they said is to late is already been canceled because the DVLA codes didn't work! (what?) The staff hang up on me numerous times and are incompetent, unable to answer simple questions. They said we are a big company, you are not expecting to read your e-mail straight away, do you? Yes I do that's why I pay you and you set the due date, not me. Next day we called to find out that the insurance was actually canceled 4 days before, so we were driving with canceled insurance and they didn't even bother to tell us. The price for my new insurance now rocketed because of these bunch of incompetents. PLEASE, if you care about your money and mental health, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

fine until I needed to make a claim. I need my car to work so had business insurance. Three days after accident a car finally arrived. It was then taken back the day cheque was issued leaving me without a car for over a week while it cleared. Staff are rude and sarcastic. Will never use again. No claim management at all. I've gone to Hastings who are great and fantastic customer service

took my insurance out with these idiots for my range rover classic asked for my partner to be put down as a named driver payed my money thinking everything was sorted however 6 or 7 months later my partner had a accident someone ran in the back of her so non fault so rang these retards up and they tell they have made a mistake and she insured so all in all in ends costing me a fortun isent e in repairs and costing my partner 6 points finally get these divs to accept responsibility and all they offer is £50 what an absolute joke this company is stay well away you have been warned
