“Poor home insurance policy, watch the terms they don't tell you and the lack of being able to make a complaint. currently waiting for them to say no to my complaint so I can go to the ombudsman. cheap quotes dont work when you need insurance most at point of claiming”

“The policy was good value for money and I have since taken out another policy with them for my second car. The only problem I have had with them was when dealing with customer services to change my main car I have insured with them to another car that I have replaced it with. I was trying to save money by finding out if I was covered on my current policy to collect the new car I was purchasing before getting rid of my old car. They said I was and suggested switching the carI was buying to my new policy straight away so I did as they suggested. I then discoovered that in addition to the extra fee to switch the policy I was now no longer insured to drive my old car and would have to pay an extra premium to drive that one. It would have been cheaper to just use one of the many one day insurance companies to facilitate the collection of the new car and switch the policy when I was ready to drive it. Having explained all the ins and uts to the representative I was very disappointed to be caught out like this. I took it up with their complaints department and they refused to compensate me. They do seem to be coming out very cheap in comparison checks but I would be careful when talking to their customer services that you double check everything they tell you.”
“My car was hit by a car being pursued by the police last September (2014). Yes, my car was repaired etc, but as yet Privilege have been unable to confirm that the accident was not my fault (?!). I have had to pay my excess of £350, and my no claims status is in doubt. To call Privilege is quite costly, they take forever to answer the phone, some of their admin staff are not that smart, they don't always return calls when they say they will, and they have made little progress with my case. I am not happy with their service.”
“it was a terrible experience with them I took in total about seven months to pay out and closed my policy ,when it was a straight forward rear ended claim. I would not recommend to anyone.”
