STAY WELL AWAY 😔😔😔 I’ve been trying to access my funds since before May I’ve constantly been told it will be paid by the end of each week it’s the same every week I’ve been on hold for hours at a time and promised a call back which never materializes. Countless emails and phone calls names logged times logged finally after months I’m told they made an error and new forms would be sent out by Thursday and the money will be in you account within three days ā€˜Thank God’ Guess what - šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø Nothing 38 years of work and paying into Pru my planned holiday aboard is tomorrow and I’m canceling. I’m now looking to take Pru to court I’m at my wits end I’m sick with stress.

I do not have good experience with prudential. I just found out that my children medical insurance has doubled in 2 years. From 518 per kid..it is now ranging from 888 to 952 each for my kids. I paid 1.5k n now almost 3k. What is the reason?

They were happy to take our money every month for 25 years but now when the endowment matured they have given us every excuse not to pay us back, now unable to pay off mortgage, They are thieves!!

I notified Prudential of my husband’s death 3 weeks sgo. I called to follow up on this 2 weeks later today ld it would take 16 to 20 business days. I received a form several days ago telling me i had to send death certificate. They told me to email which i did. Called today and was told they could not read it but i could fax it. I went to ups store and faxed it. I did a follow up call and they received it but will take another 15 to 20 business days. I have never dealt with a company that has such poor customer service. It is bad enough to deal with my husband’s death Without having to deal with incompetent customer service. I have also had dealings with switching over his annuities to my name. I was told that was going to take weeks. I need the money to live and these people don't give a damn.

I waited 16 days to get a response to an email request to remove money from MY pension fund. I am now on 10th day and counting of waiting for the information pack that was supposed to arrive within 5working days. I have had a response to a complaint I made today to tell me it will take at least 4 weeks to investigate.

Never known such a shame of a company. They say one thing and never act on it. A supposed letter was sent 10th June still waiting for it. I've had to send correspondence via recorded delivery because otherwise they say they haven't received it. I'm pretty sure this is a delaying tactic that is used far too often having read numerous reviews online. Take my advise, stay away from this company. I certainly think that it needs to be looked into from a legal aspect.

I wish zero was an option. I have sent in my mothers power of attorney documents, including a notarized document stating I have POA, three times! The "back office" continues to refuse it when all other institutions have excepted it! Find another company to work with!! This is absolutely the worst company I have had to deal with concerning my mothers affairs!! Even the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT was easier to deal with, and that says a lot!!!

I’ve been trying to cash in my pension with Prudential that matured in May 2024, 3 months later and despite my constant phone calls / emails to them and continually being told the transfer of funds was being made it’s now the 20th July 2024 and I am still waiting for my money which they have had for 25 years, terrible company.

The worst ever!!!!! Waited 6 mths for payout and then had to wait months for paperwork to be emailed out that we needed for our moms nursing home. Every request is a nightmare! I am a licensed insurance agent and I am advising that you RUN away from this company.

I worked for a local authority through whom Prudential offered AVC's as a way to maximise saving for retirement. When I retired, I could see on their online system that my money was as stated in my April statement with a further 3 months payments still to be added. When my occupational pension fund requested my balance from Prudential to make arrangements for it to be transferred into my pension pot, they suddenly advised that the value is now 60% less! This was challenged and although I was informed today that they admitted a week ago that they made a mistake, they still have not corrected it which means that my pension fund is unable to give me my pension offer. This is now leaving me in financial difficulty as I will not be able to cover my obligations this month as planned. Although the product is a great way to save, the company does not care about their customers and I can't see how my local authority would be able to continue their association with Prudential. In the mean time I guess I will just have to deal with the fallout until they could be bothered to correct their mistake šŸ˜•

At the beginning of May I called Prudential to register a lasting power of attorney to my mums account. I also requested a withdrawal form and was told the whole process would take 5 days. I sent off the required documents and then got told that until it was approved they wouldn’t send the withdrawal form. Eventually the documents were all approved however after chasing several times with phone calls I did not receive the withdrawal form in the post as promised. I needed my mud funds urgently to pay for her care home fees. After nearly three weeks I eventually was sent a secure message in email with a withdrawal form that I had to print out and send back which I did the next day. So now I am 13 weeks on and still not received my mums funds. Apparently the funds were sent by bank transfer over two weeks ago. They have not arrived. I have been waiting 11 days for someone to give me the iD number to the receiving bank can trace the missing monies but that is proving difficult. Then yesterday I was outright lied to on the phone by Pete in Glasgow. I wanted to know what was so difficult for someone to walk into the admin dept and ask them for the ID number. I asked are they in Lancing? I don’t know he said. How can you not know where your admin team are when you work for the company? I’m not sure he said. Are they in the UK I asked. Yes he said. Then forget this missing bank transfer I want them to send me a cheque by tracked royal main next day delivery. They can’t do that he said. Why not I asked? Because it’s too far for them to get to he said. But they have access to Royal Mail do they not? I’ll ask the question he said but because of the time difference…..Hold on I said, what time difference as to the best of my knowledge the UK are all on the same time zone?? So are they in the UK or not? I can’t say as I’m not sure. You just said they were in the UK did you not? I don’t want to give you wrong information he said. So where are they? India he said. India!!!! So where is my mums missing money…Well there may be a tech issue but not sure. A tech issue…I want a cheque and I need it issuing urgently. I can request that for you he said and they will be sent by 2nd class post. Absolutely not I said…I want it sent tracked delivery and I want the cheque number. And so it goes on….I have lodged a complaint but 8 weeks for them to resolve before FCA complaint is logged. I will take out a civil legal action against them if my mums funds are not paid. I will also be contacting my local MP along with Watch Dog. Looking at all of these complaints on various media it seems there are potentially thousands waiting on monies to be paid Very VERY concerning.

My mother passed away in 2017 and as of 2023 I still have not received the benefits for her life insurance. All information has been turned over and they don't respond? I have been notified the funds will be turned over to the state. Main issue is in 2017 I received funds from a different life policy from my mother's passing but not the other? Help line is worthless, and complaint line does not help! Stay away, it's not your parents insurance company from back in the day!

I can never view my accounts online unless I go through hoops and hurdles. It must be the worst designed website ever.

Hours waiting on the phone to speak to someone at the PRU. Incorrect information on their website and instructions ie applying. i did a bit of digging and the PRU are under investigation from the regulator about breaking the rules/law. Think I'll go with the other provider of NHS AVCs.

My late husband passed away 24 years ago and the Prudential paid me ,his widow, only the money he put in. We might as well have spent it. Disgraceful experience and I would not recommend anyone to use them. Noreen.

I have been trying to obtain a Cash Equivalent Transfer Value for my pensions at the behest of my Accountant, without success. It is difficult enough to find an email address to send the request to, or any connected complaints, but to get a reply from them is proving impossible. I would describe the organisation as dysfunctional. If anyone is considering taking out a pension with Prudential, I would urge them to think again; when you need to contact them you will be unable to.

Dear Sir/Madam, I have experienced consistent problems with Prudential. I have a savings policy with them and tried to change it to an online account. I accessed their website to register for online services but couldn't find any facility to do this. After numerous phone calls, being put on hold for 45 mins, I was told there is no online facility for my type of policy as an older policy. Consequently I submitted a formal complaint. Since then I have tried to obtain a withdrawal form to transfer money from my Pru policy to my bank as I wish to buy another car. I phoned on the 5th June to order a form nothing arrived, phoned again on the 7th June was advised it will be sent next week. Nothing was sent, I phoned the Pru on the 14th June and was told that withdrawal forms were sent out on the 10th June and if paperwork hadn't arrived that day to call on following Monday. Phoned following Monday 17th, still no forms.Asked for e mail to be sent and asked for priority processing. Was informed that they couldn't send e mails, I responded why not. Eventually I was sent an encrypted e mail which had the withdrawal form on it. I filled out the form and I D requirements. I was also informed that it could be processed within 48 hrs as car could only be held until end of month. The form and requirements which was printed out was sent by registered post on the 20th June, and was scanned on Friday 21st June. Phoned Prudential on the 24th June Spoke to Logan who confirmed that docs had been scanned but would now rake 20 days to process, and had been changed from 16days. I asked why, he replied that because of system changeover. I asked him what would be the timescale for a priority processing upon which he replied it would now be 5 working days but he would try to reduce it. He informed me he would phone me back the following day on progress but I never received any call. I phoned Pru on Tuesday 25th and spoke to Busayo, informed her of situation, received apologies but informed her now I had lost the car as it couldn't be held any longer. I now have to wait until Friday 28th, and I have now put in a formal complaint. I consider that Prudential are a company that does not honour and respect its customers or treat them in a fair and ethical way. I would warn any future investors not to invest with them and find other companies more reputable. All in all a really terrible service, and really disappointed, Yours Sincerely Mr Kenneth Driscoll

I would give zero if allowed. Their phone support for my retirement plan has been trash since the beginning of my journey over 6 months ago. I have done every loop and circle they asked. Like a well trained puppet. Just to be told of magic policies I am supposed to just know apparently. It’s been almost 7 months. Give me my money.
