I contacted Sheilas wheels to extend my insurance cover for European Travel. Their policy document says "European cover can be topped up to the same level as UK cover for a small charge" I paid the sum of £86.86 but find out this only covers me for the 6 week period of my last trip. Their revised policy document states that my policy has been extended for European cover whilst giving no dates. I phoned up to complain about this but they do not appear to have any complaints procedure, neither are their staff very well informed. They cannot be contacted by email. I have written to them to complain but they do not reply. Certainly I would not recommend this Company to anyone and will not use them again.

Terrible company have being paying 18.00 per month with them more than Hastings direct phoned to cancel and they didn't show any interest in price matching or even trying to reduce. I even had to pay £69 get out clause payment. I Shockingly expensive, app is old and useless as you can't update only view policy, but phone lines busy all the time... Would avoid at all costs try Hastings or go compare

The price I paid sheila's Wheels is around £200 more than other offers I got for the same exact coverage when I looked into it further; I can prove it as I have the emails of the other insurers. Unfortunately, I trusted you and paid before further research. I am very disappointed with Sheila's Wheels

Called this morning ,was told your systems were down (that’s just not acceptable for such a large company ) Called back again after 2pm as required I have now been on hold for over 25 minutes , that is atrocious and I want an explanation and a refund for the cost of my call

LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO SHEILAS WHEELS /… LOYAL CUSTOMERS TO SHEILAS WHEELS / ESURE BEWARE !!!!!!!!!!!!! Just had a look at my Bank Statement and noted that my wife's insurance premium had bounced up £1600 as a result of an accident I had in her car last year resulting in its write off. Unfortunately the renewal was January and I missed the New Premium offer and ended up paying £150 per month. Not happy with this I decided to have a look through the comparison sites and Guess what - Sheila's Wheels / Esure have come in at less than £800 WHAT AN ABSOLUTE CON THESE COMPANIES ARE. I`ll be on to their customer services Monday and if Necessary to the Ombudsman SO ITS RIGHT WHAT THEY - COMPANIES LIKE THIS ARE NOT LOYAL TO YOU - SO DEFINATELY LOOK AROUND

By Will Carter Had first loss for 28 years someone broke window stole my coat with my glasses and wallet (I know) sat nav cds charging lead and cash in change from inside You know who an insurance company is when you call when it's gone wrong First paid for glass 100 pounds... Ok Then told total amount you can claim for contents is 200 pounds... I have a 250 excess so informed if I pay 250 excess I can claim 200 pounds back... Well I'm not that great at maths but please thats an insult to loose 50 quid... Then told the paintwork has excess as not classed as interior or glass of 250pounds...Its the same claim Sheila's wheels I'm voting with my feet goodbye you proved who you are cheap quotes cheap flimsy cover that don't stick Message to others reading this pay more don't go cheap as that's what you get cheap and no cover Just my opinion of course X

Had a full year of responsible driving get to me last month and to be told there canceling my policy over a payment resulting in them telling me I won't be getting my year no claims discount scandle not happy at all y should thay take away my years no claims a month before my policy is due to renew not happy thank you very much am not a dangerous driver in my opinion its rong to take away my no claims after ave had no accidents 👎

Abysmal home insurance company.....do not touch with a bargepole. 5 months on after our drains backed up through no fault of our own and still waiting ! Was offered £400 but damage estimates from 2 building firms estimated £4000 plus. To rub salt in the wound our renewal estimate trebled from previous year. They will not be getting a penny from us ever again......absolutely disgusting service.

Well customer service agents were fine if you have about an hour or so to wait to get through. I tried the call back system , but they disconnected before I could even answer and then had to start again. My query was a change of Address which cost me £25 Admin fee. It cost £25 to type a new postcode (1 letter change) into a computer apparently. Absolutely ridiculous. I have been a loyal customer of Sheilas wheels for a number of years but it has gone down hill and at the end of this policy I will be moving elsewhere. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Paid for a courtesy car as add on to car insurance. Had an accident and was offered courtesy car for 21 days, excepted their offer when car was officially written off. Next day told i had to return the courtesy car after only 5 days as i had accepted their offer. Spent a whole day on the phone trying to explain i had no car, that i would have to wait 5 days for a cheque in the post and would need 5 days for it to clear and would still need to purchase a new car (which is what i thought the point of 21 days courtesy car was for). I was told i would have to pay for the courtesy car if i didn't return it the next working day. Do not take insurance from this company and definately do not pay extra for a courtesy car as an add on. If your car becomes unusable they will leave you up the creek without a paddle what a rip off company SHEILAS WHEELS and ESURE AVOID, AVOID, AVOID.

Inadequate garage - Had an accident more than a year ago. I was assigned to go to a garage which is more than 30 min drive away from the city I live in, and whose quality of work is clearly below accepted. They have changed my bumper which keeps getting wobbly. The garage does not want to invest more time in the case because Sheilas' Wheels do not want to pay more money to fix the issue. I repeat, this is more than a year later...

This company does not look after its customers and is very sneaky. Firstly they dont give you the cover your expecting so when they give you a qoute you find out you do not even have half the cover you were expecting ie personal injury courtesy car ect so the actual premium you receive is very expensive . Also they rip you off if you try and change your car or cancel this company is not good and the service is terrible. Beware

Was contacted by eSure - no mention that this is the parent company of Sheila’s Wheels so since we have never had insurance with eSure we assumed at first that it was a phishing email until looking into it further. ESure Cancelled my partner’s motor policy with SW at 3hrs notice (when we were supposed to be driving to the Highlands of Scotland that night for her grandmother’s birthday) claiming some spurious nonsense about us inputting data multiple times when quoted to try and get a cheaper price by changing info. Absolute rubbish as we did it through Confused.com based on saved info. Called them and have never been met with such an arrogant and patronising call handler in all my life. Beyond a joke. No apology or explanation offered and said it was too late for them to stop the cancellation. Now my partner has to declare that she has had a policy cancelled and this has put her premium up considerably and limited her choice of insurer. Avoid this company like the plague.

Avoid if you don't want to pay insane increases on your monthly premium. They won't price match their competitors so are happy to see current customers leave, clearly not bothered whatsoever about looking after them. Really poor customer care and service. Put the same review on Trustpilot and got a response essentially confirming that they would be happy for me to leave - needless to say that says it all and I certainly will not be renewing. Terrible.

Insurance has doubled in the last few years and they applied a legal protection that I never signed up for. When I told them I hadn’t requested this they said There is charge to take it off. No money back and then applied to renewal to charge again next year! Just want to keep adding on costs. Very disappointed

Worst car insurance company ever. They have made several mistakes on my police and so my insurance would be voice. Have asked for a call back and a copy of the transcribed twice of the call so find out where it went wrong. When I phone to make the changes they told me my police would go up by over £500 a year. This was a joke as I could check on line and it was only £100 more. As I stands I am still waiting to find out who is a fault.

Motor Renewal document information was never received, policy was 50% higher than elsewhere. cost me £25 to get out of a policy that had only just started (realised when first payment was taken) Will be cancelling all of the policies I have with them ... apparently you can't notify them in advance that you don't wish to renew.
