Would give 0 stars if possible. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. The communication within the company is appalling and it seems there is a massive lack of training within the company. I was involved in a minor accident 4th August 2020 where a van went into the back of me at approx 10-20 mph. The damage was minor, causing a scuff and dent to my rear bumper. Sheilas wheels suggested a garage in my local area which only had 1 star out of 5 in their reviews, so I asked if I could have a different garage. This was agreed. On the day my car was collected, it was taken by the wrong garage! I only realised when the correct garage turned up half an hour later to collect my car which had already been taken! When it came to getting my car back, I was not communicated with at all through the process and had to chase updates with my car (however I was getting updates about other people’s vehicles!). Eventually I was told to go and collect the car from the garage myself which was a 45 min drive from me. As I had my MOT booked in for the previous day, I agreed and drove to collect the vehicle. On inspection of the vehicle, I had to question what work they had done on it after having it for 2 weeks as it was still scuffed, dented and the boot wasn't even in line! So I refused to take the vehicle until these repairs had been done. Another few weeks passed and it was finally time to get my car back. There was no communication with the process. I asked the insurance to give me a time of day my car will be dropped off as I was WFH so had to plan around it. No one got in touch with me with a time so when they showed up to drop my vehicle off, I was busy and unable to get the car back. They only called me twice before parking my car across the street on the main road (I have a drive), posted my key through the letter box and signed the documents all themselves so I was unable to inspect and accept the vehicle back. On inspection this time, I could see new damage on my car. It was now dented in new places on the rear bumper, I had dry pain on my side panels and a massive scuff on my driver’s side, front wheel arch! *All parties have denied causing the damage to the wheel arch, but you can see from the document I signed when the incorrect garage took my car, this scuff was not there when they took my car from my care.* When I rang the insurance to tell them of my experience, they seemed at first like the wanted to help and ensured me I would not go back to that garage and I will get to choose my own garage or take my car to Audi to get repaired. Of course, this was not the case. I was informed at this point that it will take me a long time to go to my own garage and it will be quicker to go back to Grovers. So I compromised and agreed to go back to this garage for a 3rd time but this time with Sheila’s Wheels independent inspectors, Branwells, being involved. So before my car went back to Grovers, someone from the garage and Branwells came to my house to inspect my car and see what needed to be done to it. It was agreed then that the whole of the rear bumper will be replaced, the dry paint on the side panels will be blended in, and that someone from Branwells will inspect and sign my car off before it is returned to me. A day after Grovers took my car in to have this done, I was called to say it was completed. I was shocked, how could all of this work be done in 1 day?! But when I questioned Grovers to ask if Branwells had signed it off, they said they didn't know about this. So 10 days later, my car was finally signed off! On return, this time someone made sure I was available to check the car over (finally) however, on inspection this time, the car looked worse than when it went to them the first time! The paint colour wasn't the same as the rest of my car, half of the bumper was gloss and the other half was Matte, they had broken the plastic trim in my boot, the bumper was still dented and all the paintwork had an 'orange peel' effect! I told them there was no way I was accepting the car in this state. The driver then called his office who he put on speaker, and they were very rude! They refused to have anything else to do with my car and said 'leave her with the car, make sure you take the courtesy car off her or she'll pay for it all'. At this point, I called the insurance who said they will deal with it all, but Grovers were still refusing to have anything else to do with my car. Sheilas Wheels then asked me to go to Audi themselves and get an estimate so they could get this sorted. When I went to Audi, they informed me that no new bumper had ever been put on the car! And that the bumper had never even been taken off the car, they had done all the work with it still on my car and put masking tape around it to paint it (this would be where the dry paint on my side panels have come from). Audi gave me an estimate of £2,707 but the insurance has offered me only £1200 to cover it! Not even half Worst insurance company

They're not even worth giving 1star. I am beyond disappointed with them. I will never recommend them to anyone, took a new policy out and within 6 days they emailed stating they will cancel my policy as apparently when I checked a quote with a name driver on the car he had a cancelled policy previously HOWEVER this name drive was never ever insured on my car or on that policy but Sheila’s wheels stated he was. I had asked them not to put this other driver on my policy despite calling them twice asking not to put the other driver on my policy they still went and took that into consideration and cancelled my policy. Its cost me £300 having to take another policy out with someone else. I am so so so disappointed words cannot explain. they're simply unrealistic and very unhelpful, it has caused me so much grief A Mistake was done on your side but we as a customer have to go through it and suffer.

I got an sms today. Informing me that my premium has gone up. I called - held on for 45 minutes. Was told a claim from November 2019, when someone drove into us, which was closed in March 2020 due to no third party claim, was re-opened on 16 September 2020. TWO MONTHS AGO. No call, discussion, no correspondence, BUT premium DOUBLED and a text to tell me. Unhelpful. Unacceptable. Appalling

HORRIBLE SERVICE, HORRIBLE COMPANY. (Please consider my review as 0 star not 1 star). I've advised them that I've been involved into an accident which wasn't my fault and they raised my annual insurance payment of £1600 more? What a ridiculous company is that? I would never recommend them to anyone!

HI I had taken insurance with Sheila's wheel in 2016 , I came from Tesco insurance with 5 years no claim bonus , use to pay £480 a year on comprehensive and 2019 increased with no reason to £790 and January 2020 an idiot with a BMW stopped suddenly to let another go through I bumped into his back , just a scratch , i called the police , took pics , reported it to Sheila and was told there was no claim made we leave it open for 3 months if no claim we close it , how naïve, case never been closed, not even a letter sent the end of October 20 , 7 years no claim lost , price £1065 and when called they said they are sorry , rip off , get a better deal from others not misleading companies , just the hypes Sheila you are a disappointment , shame

DO NOT trust this company! Each representative says a completely different thing, the wait times are very long on the phone, and they put me in a terrible situation that could have had serious consequences! They allowed me to be insured as a secondary driver on my friend's car, and then when we called to renew the policy, they told me my policy with them was never valid, meaning I had been driving without insurance for almost 2 weeks! They stated that they only cover UK-residents, and thus had just ignored me multiple times when I told them I live in France and have a French driver's license. I was stuck on a vacation with an uninsured car and had to take out temporary insurance for 100£ for one day! To top it off, they refused to refund the amount of my policy! Terrible company, almost ruined my 35th birthday trip!

I've been with this company for 5 years with no claims or incidents, and spoke to them this evening to substitute my vehicle. They have been insuring a 4.8 V8 Porsche, but will now not accept an old Land Rover, because it's too old .... U N B E L I E V A B L E. So, that will stay with the company it's with, and if I ever get a vehicle which is acceptable to them .... guess who won't be getting my business. Oh ... and my wife and sons will be moving away too. Nice one, Sheilas' Wheels, you sure know how to run a business.

No help with coverage details after I took out the policy. Found out their monthly payments are covered by esure the next cheapest on the web site. Customer service sucks had my policy two weeks called them and they hung up on me . Called back to complain and cancel my policy. They owe me forty pounds which they haven't sent after a month.

I took insurance no problem. I scrapped the car just before the policy ended. They AUTO RENEWED the policy. I have numerous insurance payments going from my account, so didn't notice. A few months later I spotted it so stopped. They then charge a SCANDALOUS cancellation fee and threaten my credit score. I lost £250 altogether. I will never use again and suggest you avoid. PLEASE NOTE they renewed a car not in my name and no TAX/MOT.

They AUTO RENEW your policy. It cost me a couple of hundred pounds for a scrapped car the year after my original policy. BEWARE.

Signed up for Sheila’s wheels with auto renewal to make things easier. Next year needed to change the credit card details can't be done online so must phone. When you finally get through to the customer services you are told you must be transferred to the accounts Department to change the credit card details. Then after further 20 minutes on hold it turned out I was at renewals. If they changed the credit card details they would have to do it from today and not from the expiry date a month later. I've now switched to Aviva who were £40 cheaper. Beyond belief that a company cannot allow you to change the credit card details online. They won't be seeing me again
