I had my insurance with this company. But when I changed my car they wanted £200 more than my present one. I emailed the company several times as need my proof of no claims. I am alas still waiting and might loose my present insurance.

Fine until you have no make a claim. I have 18 years protected no claims discount. A lady drove into my parked car this week in a car park so I put in a claim for repairs. My renewal premium had come in at just over £400. When I rang to renew, my premium had jumped by around £65. I discovered that Sheila’s wheels increase your premium if you report an accident or claim even if it is not your fault. Other insurance companies (CoOp for example) do not do this and I feel they put their clients’ best interests first, unlike Sheila’s Wheels.

Very poor customer service, misleading prices, errors not corrected, (no leadership) I will not recommend it! took them a year in correcting a mistake on my insurance and charged wrong price for my policy. Avoid it if you can!!

Awful company, been with them for years, never claimed. Changed my car and got an increase in premium £250, even though the new car is a family type with a smaller engine than my previous sports cars. Nowadays it takes hours to get through to them on the phone and when you do, they just hang up on you. I believe it used to be a good company with competitive rates - now my advice: stay clear from these money grabbers! PS, The new insurance with a different firm cost me almost 50% less, so even with cancellation fees I'm still MUCH better off with the other insurer.

WORST CAR INSURANCE COMPANY EVER. Someone ran into my car overnight and my car cannot lock at all. They took my car to the garage and I am entitled to a courtesy car yet after a week i have not received it and on top of that they can't find my car. They also said if i want my car i have to come and get it myself. DISGUSTED.

Sheila Wheels is the worst insurance company in U.K. The company uses Invisio Validation Services as their adjudicating company. My claims for water escape was dealt with unprofessionally. I was dejected and disappointed with service I received from their insurance company and all their service providers. You are warned. Sheila Wheels is the worst insurance company in the U.K. Sheila Wheels and their subsidiaries companies are very poor with offering good service. I can’t wait to leave this insurance company. 15th June 2018

Don't go with Sheila's Wheels home insurance if you have more than 5 years no claims because they will reduce it down to 5. So I should have 9 years no claims but now they'll only give me proof for 6 - they have essentially deducted 3 years from me, which will have a knock on effect with my new insurer. Also they also auto-renew without any consent!

Absolutely horrendous company. We were involved in a collision after a driver pulled out in front of us. Esure unfortunately represented both parties and refused to investigate the accident and applied partial liability to both parties. I assume because its better for them to raise both our insurance premiums and save the expense of investigating the claim at all, nevermind correctly. After chasing them up and hounding them they eventually provided a courtesy car that should have been offered and provided at the time of the claim. Only for them to take it back almost 2 weeks earlier than agreed leaving us whitout a car whilst trying to replace the one that they wrote off rather than repair. They didnt even communicate to us that they were taking the courtesy car off hire, a confused rental agent called us apologising that they were going to need the car back today. Each time we called the insurance agent they were rude and abrupt. Uncurteous and unhelpful. We will never do bussiness with them again and advise anyone else to avoid them like the plague.if i could givem minus stars i would.

you were very very expensive compared to direct line insurance - over twice as much and you were not bothered when called and dismissed me as a valued customer and mature woman driver with no convictions £380 by SW - £174 DL so whats going on here?

I have tried on numerous occasions to change my address by phone, only to be told that due to extreme weather to email. Which I did, only to receive an email telling me to phone! I am now on hold, however much this costs me is anyone's guess. I know my change of address will result in additional cost that's why I've been instructed to phone.

I have been with Sheilas Wheels for many years and never made a claim, I changed my car and the renewal quote was far too high, so I shopped around and found another company saving £300. I cancelled the policy in November which was due for renewal 2nd December. Whilst checking through my credit card statements I realised sheilas wheels had taken out the full £644 from my account, I phoned today after waiting to get through for 5 mins and been charged for call, the person first said I did not cancel then said oh yes its our mistake he was abrupt and difficult to understand, i was very annoyed that they had done this, and was told there will be no compensation, just £10 for the call !!

Car was involved in a collision which was the other drivers fault, car was not repaired to the same standard, Sheila's Wheels were very unhelpful and have left me with a car that is not roadworthy! Two policies that will be going elsewhere come renewal

Absolutely dreadful company. Very nice when they want something from you- but try getting your entitled monthly refund back if you cancel your insurance before the year is up. They promise and promise but the money never lands back in your account. Then they stop responding to your emails. We’ve had to resort to reporting them to the insurance ombudsman. If you have any sense at all, steer well clear. I will NEVER do business with them again!

I insured my current car with Sheila's wheels in April, after my old Volvo was declared unfit and too expensive to repair. I bought a jag and insured that with them and got confirmation of a policy number. The insurance was through a comparison site. Recently I noticed that instead of one payment a month, they were taking two. So decided to ring them today to find out what was going on. They insisted I had two policies with them. Yet I only received one policy number. I had had a renewal quote from the comparison site and they insisted that the other policy was using my husband's email address. Why on earth would I use two different email addresses. My husband checked and he has never received any emails from this company. They cancelled the first insurance for the Volvo today - so very gracious of them, which has had no MOT since May, and has not been in my possession since April and is currently SORN. I did not SORN it. They now insist that in order to get my £296.40 back I have to contact the DVLA to prove that the vehicle was not in my possession! I told them if they went on the DVLA site ( Not a hard thing to do!), they could see for themselves that the car had not been MOT'd since it expried in May, and had been SORN. Seeing as esure now own Sheila's Wheels. I will never deal with these idiots again and will be contacting my ombudsman.

Used this company for buildings and contents as I sourced them via a comparison site. Payed my policy with them for the last 7 years and after a recent break in to my property where I needed to make a claim I was left feeling absolutely disgusted in the way I was treated /spoken to ! I am the victim here left feeling scared, upset and angry and yet I was treated as a fraud!! I can only say thank you to the police for their curtesy and understanding but this is no compensation for the loss of my valuables ! Do not use this company !

THEY ARE A SCAM COMPANY! YOU DO NOT PAY THE ORIGINAL AMOUNT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN QUOTED. THEY SCAM YOU FOR MORE MONEY AND THEIR POLICY IS RIDICULES. ONCE YOU START THE POLICY THEY THEN TELL YOU AFTER YOUR PAYMENT HAS GONE HIGHER. SO YOU PAY MORE MONEY. THE STAFF HAVE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE RUDE AND DO NOT RESPECT YOU AT ALL. DO NOT TAKE INSURANCE OUT WITH THEM.

If you have plenty of time and like waiting in a queue listening to music this is the company for you. I have had to make several calls regarding a non fault accident and waited initially 35 minutes to report accident and at least 18 minutes on other calls! Due to the incompetence of the company and that they've doubled the cost of my insurance due to a non fault accident, and the third party insurance company contacted to advise of liability immediately, I requested to cancel my insurance from renewal and they answered call within 5 minutes. Very dissatisfied customer.
