They wanted £50 to cancel police two days before it would have expired anyway, total rip off and we won't be using them again.

The worst car insurance company I have come across! I needed to change my vehicle details and I spent over 45 mins on 3 separate occasions and still the phone was not answered! Will be cancelling if this does not get sorted and they'll be lucky if they can think they will charge me an admin fee!

set upinsurance on line they took immediate payment. then got two snotty letters from esure aking for proof of address v5 doc and no claims on present car and insurer . Poor service badly written letter made to deel like criminasl we are 49 and simply wanted cover for another car. avoid you get what you pay for .

My daughter got insured with them recently and had her black box fitted. She got an email today saying her insurance was cancelled as they had not had paperwork which she had sent. She had an email and had been driving for three days with no insurance. She called them and they wouldn't reinstate without new upfront fee. Its Christmas time so obviously a delay with the post. Will not use again.

I had the worst experience in my life . if anyone crashes into you they don't care they don't give you a car on hire and they're rude to their customers all they want is your money every month I'm going to cancel my policy I don't want to have any thing more to do with Sheilas wheels again

They're not even worth a 1 star review ! Absolutely horrendous customer service, costs about 5p a minute and have never got through to them in anything less than 20 minutes. After that you're on the phone for a good hour trying to sort something, continuoisly being put on hold! I've just cancelled my insurance after a years policy and they're charging me £150, despite the fact I've been trying to get through to them to cancel the insurance ever since it was up for renewal. After 6 times of trying to get through to Sheila's Wheels to cancel the insurance (waiting 30 minutes each time until eventually hanging up) I finally got through to be told they were going to charge me a minimum of £150 to cancel it! How it costs that much to cancel a policy is beyond me, the car has been off the road on our private land since the insurance ran out and as I have a black box they are able to see that?! They've also told me on 2 different occasions that they will be sending me a compensation cheque due to the amount of times we've called and been unable to get through, and their response to the fact we have to wait so long to get through to their customer service is 'all our customers have to wait at the same'. They have also sent many threatening email and letters. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Do not stay with Sheila's Wheels, unless you don't mind paying far more than you should for genuinely good insurance. Having used these people more than once, we shopped round when they proposed a ridiculous premium increase simply for replacing a like for like car. We did shop round on Compare the Markets and saved £400- insane

The WOREST insurance company i have ever seen in my life. They are not equally treated the customer. They use advantage of language they dont have standard regulation it depends who you are!!! Every one who works there telling you different ideas according your English level which means if you dont speak fluent then they start to cheat not to cover any expense and never admit what they said before. They are very stupid company.

I took out an online policy but needed to make amendments. Called their 0345 number numerous times, never got through, over an hour on hold. Rang overseas 0141 overseas number and eventually got through. Decided to cancel as impossible to get hold of, was told 'admin fee' of £26 even though cover hadn't started. After much moaning this was waived.

Worst company ever do not deal with them.Theycancelled my insurance because I did not send in my no claims bonus but was totally unaware that if you have an exciting policy your no claims is not valid.never was this told me on any of the comparison websites or when I paid in full for the insurance .when I was stuck on the side of the motorway in the back of a police car trying to reinstate my insurance the just said sorry we can since we have cancelled it.thus leaving me with a£150 recovery fine a £300 spot fine and 6 points on my licence and a sky high prices when buying insurance. this is the first time i had insurance with this company and had a very bad experience. they email me that they want to cancel my insurance after 14 days and they give another 10 days to keep insurance just they can charge me £42 for cancelling the insurance and having 10 days more.they cancelled my policy after 14 days giving the reason of fraud which is a nonsense and ridiculous excuses to make the money out of it.they said i search with different address and took the cheapest insurance which was just £2.50 difference which i never did. i said them if they want i can send them proof that the insurance i have is in my home address they refuse to do so saying that i am fraud.also they want to cancel after 14 days so they can rip me off saying that i use insurance for 14 days. Their system doesn't even know how many times a person search for insurance until 14 days pass away and they can have money for nothing.they just want to rip u off.

Have no complaint with policy cover but am alarmed that I am changing my car tomorrow and I cannot get them to answer the telephone after holding on for a couple of hours on and off. I am more worried now since reading others' reviews. I certainly will not be renewing this policy.

they just do not answer the phone, I will now, after many years, have to go somewhere else for my car insurance They also put the price of my insurance up by £ 66,00 without an explanation as to why.

Nobody at Sheilas Wheels answers phones to customers. Expect to try many times and set aside hours

Absolutely rubbish, worst policy I have ever taken out. No reasons given to why I had to have a black box installed on my car when I had been driving over 2 years? only used them as another company quoted me a ridiculous price for my renewal and was the cheapest I could find.. just goes to show you get what you pay for! I was promised a reduced rate on my premium each month if good driving was shown, never once in the red or yellow I scored green every single month with an average of 90% and had no reduction! When it came to renewal I said no and without any hesitation the "customer service" team instantly voided it off with no questions asked... DO NOT USE.

SHOCKING company! Been with them for 3 years but when I changed my car they doubled the cost after checking on line I could insure my new car for a lot less. I had only just renewed the policy and at the time told them that I would be changing my car, however when the new car was collected they went back on what they had agreed with me and doubled the cost of the policy. Having only renewed the policy 6 days earlier I told them I wanted to. cancel the policy,due to being mislead and never being able to get through on the telephone. The amount they said they would pay back was half of what I had paid yet it was supposed to be pro rota to the time I had had the policy! Demanding to speak to a manger was constantly rejected. I was told the money would be in my account within 5 days. 3 weeks later still no money back from them!!

Still waiting to hear when my car will be returned once being at the mechanics it has now been over 7 weeks for a two day repair job. Neither mechanics or shelia wheels call me when they tell me they will and I have wasted £s calling both to get a date which always gets postponed

awful insurers AVOID at all costs, happy to double your premium over five years but could not assist when it came to paying out for repairs on my vehicle- fire in my vehicle(-electrical defect, manufacturing) left me to run around, paying out for my own reports, they will do anything to avoid paying out... !! surely fully comp should be hassle free? ended up spending £1200 of my own money!! hire car, reports, towing, solicitors & so forth.... useless claims handling & really poorly run customer services...... they are only interested when it comes to getting their money for the year.... dismal........
