Do not be fooled- none of these work! the chat person redirects you to calling a number. The phone number if or when you eventually get through after 45minutes they tell you they cannot access your policy and you must do it on line. The on line form hangs and says not available right now! The WORST company I have ever used. EVER.”
“I cancelled my policy which auto renewed without my permission at triple the price. I had sold the car 6 months before and cancelled. Then I cancelled on receiving the renewal - after 5 times contacting them and asking for refund- 2 months later still no refund. They lie constantly saying its paid - it takes hours to get trough to them. They are truly appalling. I suspect they have a cash flow issue, AVIOD AT ALL COSTS - I'm referring to ombudsman now”

“I have been a long time customer of Sheila's Wheels (years), and was told a had to pay £84.65 to cancel my policy today (I sold my car over the weekend). Their policy state a £35 handling fee for cancellations, which I understood, but the helpdesk clerk couldn't share with me how the calculated the extra fee. I told her I would be willing to pay it if I could see/understand the calculation and asked her thus to email it to me. She said that wasn't possible and I would have to pay and they would not cancel my policy until then. I've since written to them asking to show me proof of this added liability in my policy. “We purchased a new car after 1 month on a policy and the refund was £168 after paying £286! Apparently there is the admin fee of £35 but then the pro rata refund only applies to the base insurance cost and any extras on the policy are non refundable. Eventually I found it in the small print but a complete rip off nevertheless.”
“Went online and they were the most competitive quote , so after checking everything was favourable I went ahead and clicked to buy. It all went through smoothly and I was covered on my new car very quickly.

“Charged me £30 when I recently moved address, then another £30 when I changed my car 2 months later. Oh and when I asked to cover my old car for sale purpose they charged £40 for 2 weeks, I sold in 2 days and they wanted to return me £6. I disputed this and guess what, they wanted a £30 admin fee. I told them I wasn’t informed of this as if so I wouldn’t have got cover, to which I was told “we don’t tell people as they don’t generally ask” ! This company provide low initial quotes but scam their customers with ridiculous admin fees for everything. I disputed the last fee and got this back, after a 5 minute wait whilst the call taker spoke to a manager ! I can’t wait to leave these, although darker leave early as I understand there is a £90 early cancellation fee! All for a policy which was under £300!!!!! I will tell everyone I possibly can about these hidden fees as I wouldn’t want others to fall for this fraud. Avoid.”
“One star is one to many, I had a quote from them and accepted the quote of £89 per month, paid the deposit and 3 days later have a message thatb the finance company, who they use for installments, would not accept me for some reason. This was BEFORE the policy was due to start and they have charged ME £50 because the finance company THEY use declined me.

“Ridiculous fees for cancelling your policy. £90 to cancel on a £200 policy. All they have to do is take you off their computer and it costs £90 to press enter. Total rip off, please be aware its ensure your dealing with not sheilas wheels. No cancellation fees in their documents, they refer you to ensure.”

“Increased my insurance after a year over £100 for no reason and they messed my renewal information up. Called to tell them all the info was put in wrong over the phone and it was changed, they charged me £26 admin fee for their mistake and increased my insurance another £47. Absolute joke, cancelling with them.”
