I have been shopping with Gems for nearly 18 years and can honestly say they are one of the best British jewellers out there. Sometimes people will leave a bad review because they are annoyed about something, where as all of the thousands of happy customers don't think to...well i am a very happy customer and there are many more like me.

I have ordered hundreds of items this year. Always been happy with the try before you buy guarantee, although in last 9 months the refunds have taken sooo long they are often refunding over £1000 after a month of having my money. Despite returning two weeks previously they will still take second split payment whilst they try to say return hasn’t been processed (they are able to sell ring again in this time however). Now they say I am returning too much back on recent orders!! Isn’t this the point?

my issue (this time) is with katie and her "visage" range. She seems to think she has invented retinol, etc. her products are GREATLY over priced. perhaps if she did a bit of research beforehand she could see we ( i, for one) can buy the EXACT same thing for a very reasonable cheaper price elsewhere...anywhere. ok, packaging may not be as fancy but who really cares about that. as for her sidekick "mrs hattie houston" give me a break, this womans ego is so inflated its becoming a joke. been a customer buying jewellery from here for years, on the whole, never had much to complain about except their slow refund process, but now? quality is rubbish refunds even slower if that was possible, blatant lies about items on screen (never been seen before etc, er, yes it has, was on 3 days ago) but the presenters! please please, pretty please with sugar on top, ditch them. get new ones and make gemporia watchable again.

How can you put Elis ward in prime tonight 24_12 when she called a great presenter Hatty a cow bag, in I couldn't bileve it, she never apologised, sick of hearing about her life constantly talking over janie bennett when they do shows together, she is old, the lines on her hands say it I'm , fed up of her saying haloblv beautiful, when pulling a face of jealousy at the same time, she needs To retire, saying tonight freezing in studio that why a csdhnesr scarf, get rid she has past her time,, on gems, Diddnt last long with Mathew Kelly!!!!!

have shopped with them for years and in the "good old days" hardly ever had anything to complain about. now, its pretty much everything from the presenters (please PLEASE get new ones) the items, i've had to send more stuff back than ever before due to poor quality, not looking like what we saw on screen and generally just being rubbish. but my biggest complaint has to be refunds and how ridiculously slow this company is in giving you your money back. there's no excuse, currently, you owe me approx £170...just refund me! enough of "short staffed" (employ more people) enough of "we are very busy" employ more people enough of "our refund policy states blah blah blah". just bloody refund people within a reasonable acceptable amount of time and be done with it. btw, your items are getting worse and worse, quality is awful, and why are you selling so much, what can only be described as TAT. word to hattie houston and her hugely inflated ego...your items are from china and sell on ebay and really, i mean, really are awful.

The fake looks of shock on the presenters faces when the price goes lower. It's all scripted beforehand. Jess is the worst. All this fake questions to the gallery and "really " , we never hear the answers. She deserves an Oscar, as do Ellis, hattie and nithead edina.

Did anyone notes that gemporia charges people who uses usa dollars to buy their product. It charges $1.41 to convert. Today’s marked 1.18 United States Dollar. It is per stock market. Can you believe, people who use USA money, how much money you overpay. I am not even discussing the product that you will get. The product can be damaged, and you will wait for 6 month at the best, just to get you money back after the return, at its best. You might not even get money back from return at all. Scam website. Were is better business bureau BBB?

That yianni gem hunter bloke is a walking , talking cliché . Who on this earth dresses in a safari waistcoat, hairy arms and chest on show and wearing tribal jewellery. He's like something out of the 1920s . Who's he trying to fool. Are his real clothes hanging in a wardrobe. Still, there are some gullible and stupid viewers who think he's real.

Toby and dave are like 2 second hand car dealers. Pushing to buy any old tat. The designs and styles are so old fashioned and outdated. Why are diamonds so expensive, when there are enough of them in the world to fill 2 Olympic sized swimming pools.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with GEMPORIA, What went wrong? Don't know how long have you got! Terrible Customer Payment Experience Absolute Nightmare I have been a long term customer of Gemporia and bought many loose gemstones..The issue I have is that up to now my card payments worked fine..Suddenly I started to get payment errors I contacted customer services at Gemporia they said it was the banks fault and PayPal. I contacted both parties no issues their end.. After about a dozen phone calls trying to resolve the issue while orders were cancelled, reinstated, cancelled, reinstated I eventually was told the bank now needs to see both billing address and card details when payment messages are sent..Fine but Gemporia is one of the most stupidest company's on the planet as they have only one address fields to cover both credit card 'billing address' and 'delivery address', duh, talk about dense!..Most normal company's like Ebay, Amazon have both a 'separate' billing address and delivery address because customers may not be at home to sign for deliveries or other reasons they don't want the product delivered to their home address..I have spent hours talking with Gemporia customer help line, nice people, but utter shambles can't even do simple stuff like take payments and as a result messed up my credit card with duplicate and triplicate pending payment requests which eat up my credit limit and take 5 to 7 working days for the duplicates to cancel because as the bank says its the vendor to cancel them. Two bloody weeks on and they still can't resolve the payment issue and now without warning my account is disabled so I can't even log in anymore to check my order status, utter shambles!!

I bought a what looked like a beautiful Yellow & White Diamond ring..in the sale paid for it out right...ring arrived with a very obvious flaw how a quality control person/manager could allow the ring to be sent to a customer is beyond me ..a White diamond in the halo part of the design had dropped which made it look grey and dark I returned it for a exchange..the same day I received it...after receiving a email to say they had ring ..I phoned to for a update which one of their supposedly happy to help advisors said I needed to phone to reserve a ring for exchange no where was this written or advised but they did have one in stock ..after not hearing from them..I phoned for a further update and was told by a sullen Ben we have ordered a refund for you as all the rings in their inventory had exactly the same fault as mine had...if this company does any kind of checking the stock how on earth could this happen...I was not happy at all he had the cheek to ask me what I wanted to do as if just refunding someone without any explanations or notice was my problem ...totally disgusting needless to say they still have NOT sent my refund 30 days later and this soo happy advisor NOT...told me check the small print we have upto 30 days to give you your money back ..so I have no ring and they are gaining interest or have the use of my money in the meantime..Please don't put yourself through the frustration of seeing a beautiful item on screen and getting a shoddy piece that they themselves say all were flawed. I worked in the jewellery trade for many years this company has gone down hill massively they have no customer service at all..disgrace ..Avoid Avoid Avoid
