“They have downgraded the build of their beds, there are fewer slats and the polishing isn't same as what it was in 2022, they have increased their prices too by about 40%. Not the same solid built anymore, its a shame they call them bed of Britian.”

“Like the look of the finished bed, but it was an incredibly difficult job to assemble it and the instructions were not helpful. Customer service was not helpful in advising on delivery options - wouldn’t pass delivery info on to the courier- and resolving a failed delivery.”

“Pretty good bed. All the parts came in 3 boxes. Parts seem solid and nicely machined. Whole thing went together with just a drill. All screws and collers provided. The instructions were a little vague and didnt match up exactly to the model i bought but some of the parts were labled (HB M for headboard middle as an example) so it was not too bad to figure out. All wooden construction and no annoying little plastic bits to deal with. Yea, pretty good bed.”

“Excellent service, bed is of fab quality and stained well tonour chosen colour. Staff happy to discuss alterations and made a bed exactly as we wanted it. Was a little alarmed there were no central legs on a king-size but it's so strong and well made holding up great”

“Wonderful solid wood bed made in a traditional way. My daughter loves it and it fits into her room perfectly. We wanted a day bed design so it could sit in the middle of the wall with the recess either side. Looks great. Would recommend.”

“Half of the pieces were twisted and it was impossible to build the bed. They refused to refund me, asked me to take videos and pic of every and each piece..... (there are like 150...) and proposed to send the "new one" a few weeks later.... So I'm supposed to sleep on the floor for 2 weeks, take 3 hours to send you videos on each piece of wood and just trust that the 2nd delivery will be ok ?”

“Having our bedroom in a loft room has always left us limited for space. Whilst researching space saving options we came across Get Laid Beds. I can honestly say that the whole experience was great. Ordering and customising on the website was extremely easy, and there were lots of updates throughout the process, with delivery on the day it was expected. The bed is extremely well made, excellent quality material and it was so easy to build. The 'eggs' in the packaging were a lovely touch, and the kids have enjoyed decorating them!”

“Great quality well made four poster bed in solid oak, very sturdy and looks beautiful in bedroom. Labelling with letter stickers made it easy for joiner to put together. Only issue with delivery not being made on date expected. The bed did not arrive on the day expected and impossible to contact the courier as they don't answer your call or email. Fortunately Get Laid Beds contacted the courier on my behalf and the bed was delivered, albeit 3 days late.”

“The delivery was a day later than GLB nominated and incomplete in that one package was missing. I presently await completion of the delivery. I am less than impressed at present and can’t comment on the product as things stand.”

“Ordering was simple and choosing a delivery date. All went well, delivery was on time. BUT the assembly instructions and the screws and fittings were missing. I rang and explained and was told the instructions would be emailed to me and the screws etc sent that day with 24-hour delivery. No email came, so late that afternoon I rang again, spoke to someone different and was assured the instructions would be emailed (which they were) and the screws etc would be sent. Three days later they haven't arrived and I've heard nothing to say they've been sent. Very much looking forward to getting our bed assembled but not happy about the level of service since delivery. Had the missing items been sent promptly following my first phone call I would have given a 5-star review, but not now...”

“Bed was a little tricky to put together but I was doing it largely on my own. Quality is good. No central support for doubles or smaller but the slats are wide and it holds up. Adding the mattress makes my bed higher than I prefer so I may buy a lower bed from getlaidbeds at some point. I would certainly use this company again. The mattress is lovely - Every night 2000 pocket sprung - and really finishes the bed off. I do recommend this mattress to go with the bed, if you can budget for it. The page is unable to upload the photo but I did try adding it.”

“I chose this company because I wanted to buy a sturdy bed which I could be confident would stand the test of time. I bought the platform bed (space saver) in a king size because it best suits my needs. After building the bed I can confidently say that the quality meets my expectations. It was very easy to put together, with minimal pieces, all in perfect condition and of great quality. My favourite thing about these beds is the sturdy and large lats. Exactly what I wanted, very happy customer”

“I purchased the solid oak Moroccan bed. It does need 2 people to assemble it, but on completion it's a beautiful solid bed. I'd recommend assembling near final position of the bed. I'd defo buy a bed from this company again.”

“Panther (delivering team) arrived a day early by surprise and disrupting schedule - only to arrive without the bed itself nor the floor protectors!? Only received a mattress. Works delayed by 4 days but had to purchase another bed last minute from own pocket by shopping elsewhere. Embarrassment to project, damage to reputation, cascading to further delays in other works. Compensation expected.”
