Bed is awful quality. Slats too far apart and have ruined the mattress and my back. The space saver bed the slats are not wide enough and five inches each side of mattress overhang, so when you sit on the edge of the bed you fall onto the floor as there is no support for the mattress. Slats were not adequately sanded down, and the wood was splintering. Trying to tuck the sheets and covers in, my hand was catching on the unsanded slats and the sheets were catching around them and ripping. No reponse from management on the latest shenanigans. Been referred back to the unhelpful customer service lot who have told me I need to pay £10 for an extra slat and I have to buy a power drill and do it myself eeven though I am disabled and have already paid £80 for assembly. So I have to dissemble the bed myself and add the extra slats. Just make it properly in the beginning with an extra slat. Unhelpful and rude, really not worth the money.

Shocking. When you spend this much on a bed, you do so because you expect a quality product and service. Just a text advising "your delivery will take place between 7am and 5pm". Having got up early, dismantled bed and cleared bedroom, hall, stairs and landing, received a text at 1pm advising delivery would be at 2:50pm. It did not arrive. At 4pm, text sent stating "We have been unable to deliver your bed. Your order will automatically be re-scheduled for delivery a week today." No apology, no phone call from customer services, nothing. What am I supposed to do? Re-assemble my old bed and repeat the whole thing next week? Husband is unwell, hence purchase of new bed. Considering cancelling as concerned quality of product will match quality of service. Very disappointing.

Had high hopes here for the floating bed, custom made extra long for a tall person at . The wrong legs were sent - also all different sizes and I was informed that a centimetre difference in height was within normal limits. The company gave me a £50 refund and sent the new legs a week later. Then discovered that some of the holes in the frame were drilled in the wrong place so the bed was totally misaligned and I had to deconstruct, re-align and reconstruct with new holes. The bed creaks despite careful construction. This is just not a bespoke object. Wouldn’t buy from this firm again.

Website is impressive but service is not. Delivered and installed a double bed last week but brought a single mattress ! Had to wait a whole week ( it’s only Leicester to Birmingham !!) before they brought the correct double mattress and this was with a courier company who struggled. But the icing on the cake was having paid for pm delivery and having confirmation in writing then being rung at 7am to be told it was the next delivery. The bed looks adequate though it has yet to be tried. But the attitude /customer service is quite frankly shocking, leaving too sour a taste to consider ever buying from them again…..

I ordered a 4ft bed and 4ft mattress, it turned out that the 4ft bed been a space saver bed actually was only big enough for 3ft 6 mattress, however were advised that mattress should hang over slightly. Customer service were ok but we had assembled bed so we had to take apart and send. As we want a 4ft bed not a 3ft 6

A truely awful quality bed. The wood is split, damaged (scratched and dented) and splintered. I have sent the whole order back. I was offered a wax crayon to repair some of the damage. All for the princely sum of over £1000. Best avoid. The packaging is also pretty awful. None of the wood is internally protected.

We had high expectations for our Japanese Storage bed. Unfortunately the quality of the wood, wood staining, design and construction failed to meet any of those expectations. Little care was taken when drilling the pilot holes and countersinking. Some of these were off centre and dangerously close to the edges of the wood, which could have resulted in nasty splits. The fabrication of the bed frame itself lacked precision, and it couldn't be constructed as intended. The slots that had been cut to support the bed frame were over 10mm or ½ “different, meaning that it could not be constructed without forcing it into place and throwing ‘off square’. We were expecting something of high quality, but it reminded me of buying a cheap prefabricated shed. We were super disappointed by having to return the bed, as it was a style that we really wanted to incorporate into our home. Having said that, the customer service regarding the return of the bed was very good. It’s just a shame that there was a need to return it and that the care in production did not match that.

DO NOT RECOMMEND Part of my order has been missing which I ordered to be delivered on 19th July 2025. It is now 29th July 2025 and I am still waiting. The customer service team has never proactively given me any sort of updates unless I chased them. I have raised a formal complaint on 28th July 2025, and yet I have not even received any acknowledgement of receipt of the complaint. The service is extremely poor and I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered the bed weeks ahead of time and received a deliver date. That was almost a week ago and we still are waining for the bed to be delivered. We were told via Fedex it would be delivered Thursday, then Friday, then nothing? Today (Monday) stayed again at home hoping it would be delivered. We called Get Laid Beds and they now say Tuesday. Wasted 4 days waining for the bed. And we are not guarenteed it will even be delivered Tuesday. Anyone needing a bed should buy it locally and have it delevered.

Assembly manual far from clear None of the screw holes pre-drilled Centre frame 1cm oversize had to saw it myself Storage box not delivered Storage box castor wheels so small that whole frame sinks into carpet - had to buy my own bigger wheels

My bed was due to be delivered on Saturday last week. One small package labelled "item 5 of 6" turned up, and that was it. Having contacted Get Laid Beds, still - 4 days later - I have no confirmation on what to expect and when might be the earliest the bed can be delivered - anticipating that I will need to be at home and will likely need to make rearrangements to ensure that I can receive it... I continue to be extremely unhappy.

Delivered mattress which does not fit the their frame and hangs over the side of the bed. After paying over £1,000 and providing video evidence and measurements the company refused to support despite having a larger size variance than acceptable in their T&Cs

They have downgraded the build of their beds, there are fewer slats and the polishing isn't same as what it was in 2022, they have increased their prices too by about 40%. Not the same solid built anymore, its a shame they call them bed of Britian.

Half of the pieces were twisted and it was impossible to build the bed. They refused to refund me, asked me to take videos and pic of every and each piece..... (there are like 150...) and proposed to send the "new one" a few weeks later.... So I'm supposed to sleep on the floor for 2 weeks, take 3 hours to send you videos on each piece of wood and just trust that the 2nd delivery will be ok ?

Panther (delivering team) arrived a day early by surprise and disrupting schedule - only to arrive without the bed itself nor the floor protectors!? Only received a mattress. Works delayed by 4 days but had to purchase another bed last minute from own pocket by shopping elsewhere. Embarrassment to project, damage to reputation, cascading to further delays in other works. Compensation expected.

bed itself seems fine. delivery was 3 days late because apparently Scotland (I'm in the centre of Edinburgh) is considered "rural". When I called to ask where it was, I was told they couldn't even apologise for the delay, as that was "the policy" that I had agreed to at purchase.

Hard to review a bed I haven’t received yet. Originally due last month, the bed failed to appear with no notice from either courier or Get Laid. Rearranged delivery for today, again no sign with no communication from either courier or Get Laid. Currently waiting for a call back from Get Laid customer service, waiting for nearly 2 hours. A promised refund of delivery costs has not been forthcoming. Above all, I would like to know if this bed will ever arrive and when.
