“Terrible instructions, and they sent the wrong parts. They did their best to resolve quickly and threw in a free wooden bedside “ladder” which was nice.”

“The bed creaks, I mean creaks.. the wooden sounds like it’s cracking everytime we move in the bed. The ordering and delivery process was spot on, but the bed is rather disappointing just because it’s loud”

“Firstly the bed itself is brillianbt and I love it. However please change your delivery partners from Fedex. As the part of your brand that directly connects to the customer their service is atrociious. I have now received 2 delivers from yourselves by FedEx. Both times they have had led with poor communication (sending an email saying "part of your order will be delivered", giving me a 4 hour window, moving the time of that window when it has already started and then failing to deliver within that new 4 hour window. There is no tracking available for me to understand how long they may be. Right now I would probably not order from yourselves again if I knew you were still using FedEx.”

“No issue with the bed however they choose to use FedEx who are one of the worst courier companies. Bed was sent out in 3 boxes however only 2 turned up on the specified delivery date. Given that I paid for delivery on a date and selected this 12 days in advance I was dissatisfied to have to wait for the 3rd box to eventually turn up. I did phone Get Laid Beds to enquire where the rest of the bed was and was told to wait to see if it turns up. I told them that FedEx was a poor courier to use and was informed that 80% of the time the deliver on time. What about the other 20%!!! Use a better courier and get it delivered when promised and paid for.”

“Ordering was straight forward and delivery was on time. Goods were in three packages. The Fed Ex delivery driver asked for assistance in carrying the goods to my door, a distance of 20 metres admittedly up hill which I found strange.”

“Bed fits together easily but so called "hand made" tenon joints are quite loose. Consequently bed creaks like mad every time you move. Needs a design rethink.”

“Lovely material selection with a great finishing department, however. Instructions are poor and generic consisting of old low res images. As the. Holes in the frame are asymmetrical they kindly label each section to help orientation and drilled holes lining up but the headboard beam was missing any labelling so I wasn't confident the screw holes were lining up. Lastly the slat support lengths are glued and screwed with no consideration to top and tail. I mistakenly screwed my first slat in place, aligning it the the start of the support beam but as the beams are positioned at different distances the first slat was a few degrees out so I ended up measure off the footer for the remaining slats. I have also experienced some squeaking from the headboard join even with light movements. Granted I am not a small person but I did expect a solid build for the price.”

“Good communication with Get Laid beds during the order and delivery process. Only gave 3 stars as the product came in so many pieces it required more than just flat pack assembly. I was not expecting that the header would have to be constructed from individual planks. The bed hasn't been tried out yet.”

“Mediocre quality of the actual bed frame for the money mattress looks pretty good (time will tell on that one) delivery service appalling lost two days money waiting in. Was only ment to be one delivery of seven items, only two items showed up on my chosen delivery day then had to take another day off to receive the remaining items 4 days later”

“The bed looks good, but is very squeaky when moving on the mattress, and there weren't any clear instruction on how it went together. The head board is a little loose at the topas though the screw doesn't tighten enough. A little disappointed considering how much was paid.”

“The parts are well marked with matching markings where joints mate, pay attention at the back! That said diagrams and instructions are a little sparse. The strut brackets are strong enough but there is insufficient clearance to get the brackets screwed into such a skinny rail, maybe beef up the rail.”

“Pleased with the beds but disappointed that they failed to deliver on the chosen delievery date (which I had been assured would happen). Given the cost of the beds, they could spend a bit of time improving the quality of the assembly instructions.”

“Mattress is fab. Delivery was rubbish. Booked and paid for 4/12/25. Took time off work. No show. Email late on the night of 4/12 saying it’d be delivered on 5/12. Another day off work and a loss of income. Not good.”

“I recently bought a double bed from Get Laid Beds. The bed was delivered on the arranged date and the delivery service was very good. I opted to assemble the bed myself. The quality of the materials was fine and all the parts were included. Thee was a problem though because the assembly instructions were unclear in parts. As a result of that I had to disassemble the bed two times to correct errors. This was annoying and having to remove screws and refasten does obviously run the risk of weakening the joints. The bed is fine now but I would like Get Laid Beds to review the assembly instructions to minimise the risk of errors.”

“The bed itself is great. Looks good, feels sturdy. The instructions were awful! I'd expect better from a high quality company. We had to take the frame apart twice as there were two very unclear bits to the instructions. Also £7 for 4 very thin felt pads feels like a rip off when you've spent close to a grand on a bed!”

“3 stars because the quality could be improved. One of the spars was damaged slightly, pre-delivery i think, I had to flour paper the surfaces, they had probably been finished in a dusty atmosphere, and clean out the mortises to make the tenons sit properly. Each of these suggest a lack of pre-shipment quality inspection. Overall the bed is as described and good construction quality. It would be helpful to provide simple wooden block spacers to fit the slats, I made my own at about 73mm. One tip, this is probably not the bed for frequent house movers, since it uses wood screws to make the joints, rather than set screws and toggles as others do. So the joints will slacken if screwed and unscrewed repeatedly. There was a problem with the deliverers not turning up as booked, but this was efficiently resolved, and the company voluntarily repaid my shipping costs, so good service there.”

“Bed looks nice and seems fine (haven’t really used it yet). Assembly was fine too. Problem was delivery, which was the biggest mess I have ever experienced, and just not acceptable in 2025. I can now see, from the 1 star reviews on Trustpilot, that this is not that unusual. You clearly have a massive issue with delivery, so why aren’t you fixing things?”

“I purchased two Country beds in a custom/hard to find size, Full (double) XL. They were one of the few companies that makes this size frame. Given that I had limited options, I was extremely pleased with the sizing, shipping and low shipping costs. The things I don't love about the beds are: because they only put one screw in each slat on each side, the slats rock a bit and are squeaky. This could be fixed by using two screws on each side of the slat. The screws to put in the main frame were EXTREMELY hard to get in, even with an electric drill. All things considered, I would still use this bed for custom sizes, but they are much harder than an IKEA bed to put together. I hope they can use the feedback for improvement.”
