My order "Low Enkel Platform Bed (No Headboard)", that I received on August 12th came without my other order, "Felt Floor Protectors On Legs (SET)", and I don't know why.

I am very happy with the bed which is well made and was easy to put together. I was much less happy with the delivery by FedEx. I arranged for the bed to be delivered to my static caravan near Cardigan in West Wales. I gave the full address including the plot number of my caravan. I was given an estimated delivery window on 8.50-12.50 but the bed did not arrive until 15.59 (with no update on the estimated delivery time provided by FedEx. The office at the site was not staffed but the 3 boxes containing the bed were left propped up against the office building wall by FedEx and not delivered to my plot where I had been waiting all day. Someone I do not know signed for the delivery and I did not see or hear from FedEx until some while later when an email informed me that the delivery had taken place. Meanwhile at 16.30 the on site sales manager returned to the site, found the packages and notified me. I then had to drive round to the office to collect the parcels myself. I was most unimpressed with FedEx and have told them so. Get Laid Beds should reconsider their use of FedEx for deliveries.

Had some missing parts on delivery, replacements were sent a few days later. The suggested screw lengths for the headboard are not really long enough for the wood thickness so the bottom slat, where the tapered leg is thickest, is borderline falling off. Otherwise rest of joinery seems okay. Probably would not from here again though.

Happy with the bed which looks great and is comfortable but the instructions were very poor compared to other flat packed furniture that we've constructed which for the price was frustrating as it took double the time and almost undermined the product quality. Drawings were hard to interpret and a supplementary photo card instruction had an inaccurate photo which later required the part to be moved. Concerned that use of screws rather than bolts will make it less likely to withstand being moved and reconstructed.

Some visible imperfections in the stain. A few bits are hard to wrangle in construction. But looks quite good. Delivered on time. Quite confusing instructions, lacking detail. Felt floor protectors not supplied

The bed itself is fine - but the instructions for putting it together are hopeless. I'm used to the quality of IKEA instructions, with very clear illustrations - if a piece has pre-drilled holes in it, for example, they are pictured. The instructions with respect to the gas filled struts and lifting hinge are particularly dire, with the drawing bearing no relation at all to the pieces of ironmongery! My son in law put it together because he does skilled jobs like fitting new suspension on his van but it does need more skills than simply following a step-by-step instruction (in the IKEA style). My son in law is very busy and I'd prefer not to have had to ask him - but although Get Laid Beds advertise a "deliver to room and assemble" option, which I wanted to choose, it's not a bit clear from the website, where this option is mentioned, that it's only available in a few parts of the country. Having failed to find it on the check out I had to telephone to find out - a waste of my time and yours! I'd suggest that GLB employ a good graphic artist and somebody who can write technical stuff, and save us a lot of frustration! I didn't phone up about the assembly problems as I had somebody to turn to. My mark for customer service includes the good quality of the telephone answer I had (though it was not the answer I wanted, it was prompt and clear) and the awful quality of the written instructions.

Unfortuantly the bed wasn't delivered on the scheduled date, and when contacting customer services I was very disappointed with theire reply and they took no responsibility for it. Very happy with the bed, very straight forward to assemble, and it looks amazing

Overall a good company but we didnt like the construction/design of the Japanese space saver storage bed with sharp metal poles which are a hazard and not what we were expecting.

During delivery 3 boxes fell over as the driver propped them against the van. This caused slight damage to the bed. The instructions are extremely poor and difficult to follow and the supplementary sheet contradicted the initial booklet. Some of the holes which were meant to be drilled were not. This caused inconvenience and a delay in assembly. Some of the screw holes which were meant to be countersink were not. 2 of the screws heads snapped off - poor screw quality. The bed looks good and the wood itself is nice quality, although more biscuits should be provided as one of the side panels was not straight and could do with more support. Not a brilliant experience if I’m honest. It’s a shame as I was expecting better based upon your positive reviews. The instructions are genuinely the worst I have ever used. I’m a competent guy and quite handy and it was just as well.

Get Laid beds as a company were good. I think the only thing that lets them down is their chosen delivery courier. Our bed was delivered to totally the wrong address by Fedex which was hugely disapointing and also advised it was signed for by which which it was not. Get laid beds were however very responsive on the day of the mishap and helpful. However we didnt hear anything back the day after to arranhe for a re-delivery. We cancelled the order but only got a short email in response which is disapointing.

Bought two beds all was well but on delivery there was damage to one of the flat pack boxes. On closer inspection the bed was badly damaged( I would assume this happened in transit).still waiting for a call back as to when I get my beds delivered.

Ordering was simple and choosing a delivery date. All went well, delivery was on time. BUT the assembly instructions and the screws and fittings were missing. I rang and explained and was told the instructions would be emailed to me and the screws etc sent that day with 24-hour delivery. No email came, so late that afternoon I rang again, spoke to someone different and was assured the instructions would be emailed (which they were) and the screws etc would be sent. Three days later they haven't arrived and I've heard nothing to say they've been sent. Very much looking forward to getting our bed assembled but not happy about the level of service since delivery. Had the missing items been sent promptly following my first phone call I would have given a 5-star review, but not now...

A bit of a let-down unfortunately - from delivery to set-up to material quality. Delivery - despite booking a specific day, we got the delivery a few days early, which I guess was nice but I don't know what would have happened if we'd been away for the weekend (trusting the delivery would come when we booked it for); but then well after the time slot they'd given us. The guys who delivered were rude, no apology for being over an hour late, and when I pointed out one of the boxes was badly damaged - the whole top had ripped off - he responded "how should I know" and left. Construction - an absolute nightmare, took us two full, frustrating days. Other reviews have said the same and we should have listened - instructions were bare bones, leading to us using the wrong screws in one place and having to go out to try find new ones; and pilot holes were in completely the wrong place making parts, especially the headboard, super tricky to line up. Product - it is a beautiful bed but just feels like corners were cut in ways we wouldn't have expected for such an expensive object, like a silver screw and unfinished board being visible at the end of the bed (no, this isn't one of the parts we got wrong, it's just like that); and the back of the headboard being sharp metal that's damaged our walls (technically there are felt protectors, but these are tiny and just 'balanced' on the edge of the metal so quickly slip to the side). Also very creaky, which I'm sure is due to the warped wood we received, but hopefully will mellow over time. Design - the design is great, we love the integrated drawers and bedside tables; it's just a shame the execution isn't quite there for the price.

Customer service are fantastic. Beds are lovely and solid. But… I have ordered three beds from GLB. The first was a king size ottoman bed (and a small dog bed which is actually huge). Arrived as arranged, built easily, looks good. After a few days (I can’t remember exactly) one side of the bed split. Two of the interior legs were shorter than the other two (incorrect parts) which had put stress on the piston and one had shattered off at one side and split the wood. Customer service were great and arranged for replacement parts. This would not have happened if we had received the correct parts originally. The bed still squeaks really badly, customer service advised to oil the gas lifts, this helps for a few days only. We ordered a day bed from GLB for my son. While on holiday we had his room stripped and new carpet fitted. We returned home early in the morning with a plan to assemble his wardrobe and bed ready for that evening as a surprise. We assembled the wardrobes then started on the bed. We couldn’t assemble the bed as the screw cup washers were missing. My son is chronically unwell (awaiting transplant surgery) so sleeping on the floor was not an option! I contacted customer service who were lovely and offered to either send out the missing parts or reimburse me to purchase my own. Fortunately I had a couple of spare cups from the previous bed so knew the size needed. Not ideal after a long day of travel and building wardrobes but we went to B&Q and purchased the parts that were missing. The bed is lovely. The team at GLB are so lovely that the previous problems didn’t deter us from ordering another. I ordered a bed for my son, two weeks before my chosen delivery date. I chose the date specifically for several reasons - mostly because we had plans during the Easter holidays, but I wanted my son settled in his new bed before starting his GCSE exams next week. I booked delivery for 19th April. On 17th April I received notification from the delivery company that the bed would be delivered on 18th (Good Friday). We had lunch reservations at noon as a party of 12 so we couldn’t change our plans. Fortunately the bed arrived early so our plans were not interrupted. However, the box with the main bed parts was missing! I appreciate that it was a bank holiday weekend and GLB was mostly closed (customer services were lovely) but I am still waiting for an update about when I can expect the missing parcel. I was asked to open the parcels we did receive and photograph the contents laid out. This is hugely inconvenient but we did as requested, no response.

I am still evaluating the bed itself but I would like to share initial feedback about the assembly process. To describe the instructions provided as throughly useless and inadequate to meet the requirements of self assembly would be a understatement. It is as if you guys would like the buyer to screw up the assembly so you can probably deny warranty. To be specific. 1. Missing key steps in the assembly process. 2. Assembly instructions provided on multiple sheets not attached to each other leading to additional confusion. 3. No videos, photos even on the website explaining the process in detail. 4. Inconsistent markings and naming conventions on items leading to further confusion. How hard is it get this right? The entire experience was ruined due to you guys saving couple of bucks on providing clear instructions. Very disappointed and a bad start to a significant expensive investment in a bed.

Made of low quality material, not the same as shown on website; the price is too expensive for this type of bed. Some of the pieces have black knots with a hole.

Ordering process was easy but still hasn’t been delivered nearly a week after it was due. FedEx gave a four hour delivery slot but didn’t show up on time. Failed to deliver & just put card through door no redelivery attempted. Tracking app not working. Poor service overall quite disappointing
