I purchased a four poster super king bed. While the bed is very sturdy one of the posts was split a good few inches at the top but they were very helpful

Very nice bed but the assembly was extremely difficult!! Screws did not go in unless we used so much force. The assembly took us over 3 hours! Really disappointing in that respect.

We unfortunately had an emergency and had to be at the hospital the day of the delivery, therefore missed it. Despite force majeure circumstances, the company insisted on having us pay another delivery fee. Any other company would have tried at least one more time before charging for failed delivery, and the reason we missed would be understandable to most considerate people. I feel I was taken advantage of in a time of difficulty, and will consider this experience in the future.

The bed is well made but the headboard and under-bed storage unit finishes are a disappointment. They don't look the same as they do online. I guess this is a hazard of buying online. We are going to have to get them sprayed. The installation of the beds went well.

The purchase process over the phone was smooth and I was expertly helped by Ellie. We did arrange for assembly, and I asked if the assembly team might help to bring the old bed down. Although this is not guaranteed, I was assured that they wouldn't mind. Not so! The delivery team was rude. Although the bed was set up quickly and well, the 2 person delivery team left without asking for a signature or even bothering to say goodbye. We came down to an open front door to a busy with the delivery van gone!

If they are a Get Laid Beds frame this service is possible and will need to be booked at point of order as a paid service. However, the delivery team could have handled this completely differently . The bed was great but the delivery experience very poor. It took me ages to get them to understand I needed bit of notice to agree delivery date and kept getting told up to fedex. When fedex delivered it was badicslly dumped on the path outside my 3rd story apartment. I was not expecting it to be taken up but bit more customer service would have been great as actual product very good .

This is a really nice-looking bed, and organising delivery was straightforward and the delivery team very pleasant. However, the experience of putting up the bed was pretty bad, despite it being sold as a simple flat pack. The instructions reassured us that all we would need was a screwdriver - an electric drill might speed up the process but was unnecessary. This was not the case; in multiple places the bed required new holes to be created, making a drill essential. Some parts of the instructions were so vague or unclear as to be impossible to follow - we found that many people online had experienced the same, and thankfully used others’ trial and error tutorials to get us through the process. Some parts of the instructions were actively misleading, e.g. instructing us to use the “black screws” when all screws provided were silver. As I said, it’s a good bed, but the instructions need serious improvement, and parts of the flat pack itself could be improved too, in particular adding holes in all the relevant places, rather than just some. I’d recommend paying for the service where this bed it assembled for you unless you’re a very confident DIY-er.

Very nice looking bed, but the slacks don’t secure in the middle and therefore every time we move in the night they creak. Should we screw them down in the middle?

Craftsmanship is outstanding and the wood is not much VOCs. Yet quite a few numbers of slats of the base comes with crack. And there is always cracking sound in the bed frame when we lay down on the mattress after fully assemble. As the assemble guide were unclear, I have difficulty to confirm where should I mount the hinge on the side rails. There was also no marking / pre drilled holes to indicate where to install. I searched youtube and official website FAQ section but nothing helped. Finally we made a call to CS team and the representative give a measurement, marked on the image, send back and solved my problem. If there is a more clear walkthrough video / instruction manual / FAQ will be a lot easier .

We purchased a bed, but unfortunately it could not be delivered. Whilst customer support were very helpful, the inability to specify a delivery window made (and still makes) it challenging for us to actually get the thing we've paid for. It looks like we won't get the bed for another two weeks and even then, it's not certain they will be able to deliver it again.

Sadly we are unable to manipulate the delivery times, offer set arrival times to choose or know in advance what time precisely the arrival will be due to many outside factors on the day. I bought Oxford single plus guest under bed. Pro - great customer service Con - customer service should have let me know or would take a tiring 3 hours to assemble this. - poorly explained instructions - ux eyes would be good on this

Reasonably fast delivery. The guys who delivered the boxes were nice and polite. My only issue was with assembly instructions. There was a lot of guessing + trial and error, before both us managed to put everything together. Pieces were not marked with letters/numbers. We struggled a lot and we’re quite diy people. Wouldn’t recommend to someone with no skills.

Disappointed with the quality of the bed. Centre rail doesn't fit in unless by force but cracked the wood. The screws for the headboard are designed badly which would be very difficult to screw in!

The title of the review is when is a bed, not a bed. Answer is when it arrives by the carrier but they would not hand it over because they have incomplete paperwork, so no bed was received on 18/5.

Bed looks good but disappointed with the instructions for setting it up given the bed cost over £1000, not a premium experience. Instructions didn’t match exactly what needed to be done, pictures were representative rather than exactly what needed to be done. If I’d paid a couple of hundred quid I’d say it was expected, but not for a premium product.

Nice looking bed but slats did not fit snugly (see photos) and central support incorrectly drilled, so not wowed by build quality. Didn't help when I saw it was now 30% off!

Good Afternoon, Thank you for your honest review and images. We are sorry to see you are disappointed in the bed frame. The slats are not designed to sit flush right up to the sides of the bed, we have found that this causes unnecessary noise with wood flexing on wood which is easily avoided by having the slats spaced away from the side rails in such as way. If you wish to contact customer service directly in regards to your point raised about your central rail we can look into this for you further, I cannot see any communication from you in regards to this issue only your review. Please ensure you securely screw the headboard together with the screws into the empty holes in the legs that are visible in your photos. The bed looks good and came on time etc. However, though easy to work out how to put together the slots in head and foot part to put side bars in were not large enough so I was forced to screw together without parts being flush. I also don't know how it will work when I move house, for example, it seems like I will need to keep screwing new holes. Not nearly as well thought through or made as my old Litvinov and Fawcett bed.

Delivery misleading Putting bed together - do not attempt without power tools! Slats slightly too short so screws miss the support bar Nice looking though. Just not as straight forward as it is portrayed.

Overall the item looks as expected and the setup was easy but at the end of the product assembly, it became apparent that more structural stability may be required. The middle bar is not joined to the main bed frame in any way and the main wood exterior can be damaged simply by stepping on it at the wrong angle. Im expecting either cracks or damage soon if not careful...

I paid over £600 for a maple single bed. I read that their beds are 100% wood that you choose. I even rang up to confirm prior to ordering the bed. The frame is maple but the bed slats are pine.

All beds will be made with Pine slats and internal support unless customised by the customer. I have listened to the call you made and you only asked if the beds are made with veneer, which that are not they are all wood no MDF or composite woods.
