“Ordering was simple and choosing a delivery date. All went well, delivery was on time. BUT the assembly instructions and the screws and fittings were missing. I rang and explained and was told the instructions would be emailed to me and the screws etc sent that day with 24-hour delivery. No email came, so late that afternoon I rang again, spoke to someone different and was assured the instructions would be emailed (which they were) and the screws etc would be sent. Three days later they haven't arrived and I've heard nothing to say they've been sent. Very much looking forward to getting our bed assembled but not happy about the level of service since delivery. Had the missing items been sent promptly following my first phone call I would have given a 5-star review, but not now...”

“Lots of choice on the website. Ordering was easy and we were kept in the loop during the manufacturing and packaging process. Assembly instructions were easy to follow and we very happy with the final product.”

“Bed was a little tricky to put together but I was doing it largely on my own. Quality is good. No central support for doubles or smaller but the slats are wide and it holds up. Adding the mattress makes my bed higher than I prefer so I may buy a lower bed from getlaidbeds at some point. I would certainly use this company again. The mattress is lovely - Every night 2000 pocket sprung - and really finishes the bed off. I do recommend this mattress to go with the bed, if you can budget for it. The page is unable to upload the photo but I did try adding it.”

“I chose this company because I wanted to buy a sturdy bed which I could be confident would stand the test of time. I bought the platform bed (space saver) in a king size because it best suits my needs. After building the bed I can confidently say that the quality meets my expectations. It was very easy to put together, with minimal pieces, all in perfect condition and of great quality. My favourite thing about these beds is the sturdy and large lats. Exactly what I wanted, very happy customer”

“I purchased the solid oak Moroccan bed. It does need 2 people to assemble it, but on completion it's a beautiful solid bed. I'd recommend assembling near final position of the bed. I'd defo buy a bed from this company again.”

“Panther (delivering team) arrived a day early by surprise and disrupting schedule - only to arrive without the bed itself nor the floor protectors!? Only received a mattress. Works delayed by 4 days but had to purchase another bed last minute from own pocket by shopping elsewhere. Embarrassment to project, damage to reputation, cascading to further delays in other works. Compensation expected.”

“bed itself seems fine. delivery was 3 days late because apparently Scotland (I'm in the centre of Edinburgh) is considered "rural". When I called to ask where it was, I was told they couldn't even apologise for the delay, as that was "the policy" that I had agreed to at purchase.”

“Hard to review a bed I haven’t received yet. Originally due last month, the bed failed to appear with no notice from either courier or Get Laid. Rearranged delivery for today, again no sign with no communication from either courier or Get Laid. Currently waiting for a call back from Get Laid customer service, waiting for nearly 2 hours. A promised refund of delivery costs has not been forthcoming. Above all, I would like to know if this bed will ever arrive and when.”

“Extremely Disappointed – Appalling Customer Service I was supposed to receive my bed from Get Laid Beds on Wednesday, 23rd April. I received an “Order Update” email confirming it was due for delivery that day via a company called Furdeco. I even took unpaid time off work to be at home for the delivery. On the day, I never received the promised two-hour delivery window. I contacted Furdeco directly, only to be told the delivery wouldn’t be happening because they didn’t have the full order. This was news to me—and clearly to Get Laid Beds as well, who were clueless when I got in touch. The response I got from Get Laid Beds was disappointing at best—no real apology, no explanation, and no urgency. They said they would “investigate” and get back to me. That was a week ago. I’ve since heard nothing. At this point, I’ve been left with no bed, no update, and no compensation for the time and money I lost. Looks like my only option now is to request a refund. Would absolutely not recommend. Customer service like this is unacceptable.”

Hello Josh, I apologise for the issues you have had with both us and our courier. I can see that your order has been returned and refunded in full. We have done investigations here into how both our staff/couriers handled this and other situations which happened at that time. “Our bed and mattress are exactly what we wanted, and our first night's sleep was excellent. We weren't sure oru mattress choice of 'firm' was the right one for us, but it must have been as we slept so well. It was easy to assemble and solidly designed and built. The only gripe was a disconnection between Get Laid and Furdeco, the delivery company. Get Laid had confirmed our requested delivery date and passed the job to Furdeco who acknowledged receipt of the goods well before the due delivery date. I drove 2 hours to the delivery address on the due date and waited, deterred from calling Furdeco by being number 25 in their queue. Around lunchtime, when I had to brave the call queue, I finally learnt that our delivery had not been scheduled at all. I couldn't have known that. So it was then re-scheduled for a week later. Interestingly, all the labels on the goods clearly showed the earlier delivery date. There's a system 'hole' here from the customer's viewpoint.”

“The bed frame and mattress are excellent quality — very happy with both. Delivery was smooth, but the date changed without proper notice, so I had to take an extra day off. Better communication would improve the experience. Overall, great product.”

“The bed was incredible difficult to assemble with missing screws that we had to purchase ourselves to complete the bed. The images on the instructions are so bad and the written instructions very vague and hard to understand. For the price we paid for it I was very disappointed and would not recommend.”

“Quick delivery and good communication. Bed seems to be high quality and looks great (although colour a bit different to what I had expected). Assembling it myself was quite a challenge as the instructions are not particularly clear and some of the pre-drilled holes were not well aligned. Would strongly suggest paying extra for the assembly service (unfortunately not available where I live).”
