“The bed is solid and customer service has been fantastic (very quick) however I was not expecting to have to build the bed entirely from scratch. I expected a headboard and footboard to be pre made and then I would just need to add the sides on and the base however I had to make the headboard and footboard myself as well. Having spent over £1000 I can't say I'm thrilled as it felt more like an IKEA experience.”

“The product is of high quality. Very easy to put together and I expect years of use. The reason for the three stars is the shipping company. I used the wrong post code and when the bed did not show on the designated day I called Get Laid Beds. They were very helpful and we immediately solved the problem with FedEx. It took FedEx three additional days to deliver the packages,they tore open one of the boxes,and just dropped the product off in our driveway. No knocking on the door to let us know they had finally delivered the packages. I have used FedEx in the USA countless times and they are fantastic. They are poor here in the UK and would use any other delivery service available such as DPD.”

“The final bed looks good and delivery was easy. But the instructions were not clear and the incorrect number of screws were provided to put the bed together.”

“Felt the website should have given more information on putting the bed together plus what tools were needed. Also think a little more help could be given eg on my old bed all the slats were taped together so screws only had to be inserted at the ends and in the middle. Here every slat had to be screwed individually with no markings where they should go. It would have been better if fittings had been inserted into the wood to make construction easier rather than having to use brute force to get screws in. Blisters will take some time to heal!”

“A great experience from order, to being kept informed about the bed being built, to being delivered and ultimately, slept on! Such a comfortable mattress (extra firm, 2000 springs), even baby sleeps longer on it! It's also truly beautiful and the bedside table is worth the extra.”

“Bed base and mattress good Unfortunately the mattress protector was the wrong size, a little disappointed as I then had to drive to your office to collect the right one although I had paid for delivery. Having one sent by post when we are local seemed a bit of a faff”

“Great product, issues with instructions, seemingly dated, had to phone the CS team for support. The team itself was excellent, loved the fact there was a direct number. The instructions were disappointing given how much money we had spent. There was also suppose to be black screws but we were provided with silver ones.”

“We bought a Deco double bed and new mattress from Get Laid Beds. The whole process from online selection, the information provided to help make a decision through to delivery and assembly was incredibly easy. Once ordered, we were kept informed of the production process and delivery time via email (but not bombarded with information). The bed frame and mattress arrived on time, well packaged. Once opened, the assembly instructions were very clear with written instructions and diagrams that made it easy for us to assemble in an afternoon. We also loved the fact that we could buy from a British company that makes its products in this country.”

“Happy so far - it was a lot more manual assamble than expected but the bed is solid. It was missing one screw ( I haven't lost it - counted all!) but managed without. Arrived quicker than expected - so far so good.”
