“Brand new, first time home owner. I really wanted two nice, solid wooden beds. I ordered from GLB 2 bed frames and when they arrived, I had accidentally ordered one incorrectly. Lewis was extremely helpful and 24 hours after the beds arrived, the wrong one was on its way back and the one I really wanted was on order. When the second arrived (both solid ash) it was exactly what I wanted and I genuinely couldn't be happier. They look fantastic in the rooms and are extremely solid. I'm very happy with the purchase and I am probably going to add the floating shelves as well.”

“Great bed at a reasonable price. The Oxford bed that I purchased was precision-cut to fine tolerances, and assembly was quite straightforward. The bed looks great, and seems robust. My only criticism would be lack of lateral bracing that would keep the four legs square on the floor, but as the slats are fitted, this aspect of the frame becomes stronger. Overall a great bed. As for the modern under-bed drawers that I purchased, the quality is not quite as good as the bed. Assembly was straightforward, holes were pre-drilled, but not as accurately as with the bed. The holes for the castor wheels were incorrectly spaced, and I had to do my own. There is a gap in the slats that form the base of the drawer, but I can live with that. The veneer on the drawers was slightly abraded, but this is not a major problem. Delivery was not on the date that we were told, due to a delay in the workshop. Again, not a big problem for us.”

“The bed came in 3 boxes, very well packaged. Arrived exactly when they said it would. Each part of the bed is extremely well made and took no time at all to put together. Have slept on it for 3 nights and so far we are very happy with the purchase. Would recommend.”

“Mediocre quality of the actual bed frame for the money mattress looks pretty good (time will tell on that one) delivery service appalling lost two days money waiting in. Was only ment to be one delivery of seven items, only two items showed up on my chosen delivery day then had to take another day off to receive the remaining items 4 days later”

“The platform bed is perfect. Really great quality that you can actually feel when you're putting it together. It took my husband an hour from start to finish. Better quality (and less expensive) than the previous one we had from that big shop that supposedly doesn't undersell.”

“The bed looks good, but is very squeaky when moving on the mattress, and there weren't any clear instruction on how it went together. The head board is a little loose at the topas though the screw doesn't tighten enough. A little disappointed considering how much was paid.”

“I ordered two beds from Get Laid. They arrived promptly, nicely packaged. The instructions for assembling them were good enough, and where not clear, there was a team of helpful advisors available on the phone to help me understand them. all was as described and the beds are solid and well designed. The floating shelf is a really neat, handy addition that just clips on to the bed”

“Service was good, delivery was on time but quality of the bed was below expectation, wood was low quality with lots of knots and some splits. Assembly holes were not aligned, quite a lot of variance which wasn't fully explained in the assembley instructions so you're never sure if the dimensions of the pieces are correct? Worst part was the poor assembley instructions which I was very dissapointed with. Assembley illustrations didn't have details needed to identify which part was which, little to no text descriptions. incorrect measurements of hardwear so on some stages it was unclear if they had provided the correct hardwear, which made it unecesarily difficult to build, wasted time and almost felt like it had been written by AI or just not tested by anyone internally...which for the price you would expect as a minimum? For example there was an illustration of one of their planks which I assumed had multiple holes drilled throughout...turns out this didn't correlate to any of the pieces and might have actually just been an illustration of a plank with knots in it. Why this was illustrated I have no clue. Also given that it's a self assemble piece of furniture I would hope that it can be disassembled in the future to re-install, but because it's all wood screws on softwood it doesn't really feel like theres much consideration around longevity in place. Having said all that, the bed feels solid, but I wouldn't recommend the pine option or the self assembly.”
