“This was my second purchase with Get Laid Bedsand and so I expected the excellent choice and service I received. The beds are attractive and solid. I also ordered an underbed box and step shelf - again easily put together and practical. I ordered 2 single mattresses this time and although they have not been used yet I am very pleased with the quality. The delivey was on time and the couriers were helpful and professional.”

“As a Mechanical Engineer in my 50s, I’ve built plenty of things in my life, but I can genuinely say that assembling your bed was one of the most difficult and frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. The bed itself is simple in design and should have been very easy to assemble; however, it was made unnecessarily challenging due to extremely poor instructions. The images provided were low quality, and key steps were missing - such as when to flip components before proceeding. The order suggested in the instructions was impossible to follow in practice. For example, the instructions showed the headboard brackets fitted after the side rails were mounted on the base, which is not possible as it needs to be screwed in from below. The instructions also stated that key parts were labeled, but many were not. Some components had critical features, like pilot holes for castors on the base, which determined their placement - but this wasn’t indicated, meaning I had to redo steps later. What should have taken about 30 minutes ended up taking 2 hours, which was extremely frustrating. While the assembled bed looks great, we were slightly disappointed to see the cream-coloured corner bracket for under-bed storage visible, which we hadn’t expected. Because of the assembly experience, we wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending your company to friends and family. I don’t expect any response to this review; as an engineer, learning from experiences to improve future designs is second nature to me. I sincerely hope you take this feedback onboard and improve your assembly instructions so that others don’t have the frustrating and annoying experience I had.”

“Well having paid 70 extra quid for urgent delivery which was due to be delivered on the 5th I still find myself waiting on the 15th with no end to the debacle in sight. It’s buried in the t&cs that urgent is for manufacturing not delivery. Will likely end up getting a refund at this stage which is a shame as I liked the look of the bed and wanted to support a business that seemed to place more emphasis on craft/a premium product”

“Great bed and overall happy, was delivered on-time and well packed. Only reason for not being 5star was that ideally it needs an additional base plank and the instructions were a little tricky in relation to the headboard. But overall a good experience.”

“Ive now purchase on two seperate occaions and double bed and then a king size bed on both occaians the staff have been very helpfuil a polite l certainly will be ordering an other item for Get Laid Beds and most defenetly be passing this on to freinds and family thank you to all staff”

“Easy to use website which provides a large selection of bed options and all the information needed to help make a choice. Sample finish options delivered quickly which also helped in making final choice. Great communication throughot the manufacturing and delivery process. “Kensington double bed, mattress, cover and fitted sheet. Booked Saturday delivery but bed didn't turn up till Sunday with no mattress. Mattress delivered Monday. I have received a refund for £29 del charge after 2 nights sleeping on floor. Bed assembled OK although hard to get headboard planks to sit flat on bed frame. Had to re drill screw holes through frame so screws are loose fit and don't push planks away from frame when tightened. Also used 2 large G clamps to hold flat whilst being screwed. The 2 end slats are very tight in frame and they creak loudly because of tightness, will have to trim them down if they don't improve. Small cut whole in middle of fitted sheet, I will mend this rather than go to the trouble of returning. Bit of a shame as with a bit of basic carpentry it's a good bed. I think the couriers are over worked and very stressed.”
