“Good service. Bed as expected but most parts had no label or numbers....I mean it's fairly obvious but the instructions said there were numbers. Didn't do headboard until last as it was most difficult. Worrying when it tells you to do it first. Seems comfortable and the smell is wearing off”

“Smooth delivery and the assembly was straightforward. The instructions weren't the best but it's easy to work out intuitively. The smooth edges and ability to screw in the slats are great - very very happy with our new guest bed. Approved by Ollie - he has to test every bed!”

“The parts of the bed are well finished Nearly all parts of the bed are well made and connect one to the other The plans are vague, images very poor WE CANNOT ATTACH THE 4 x GAS STRUT BRACKETS because they are too big. Please take bed back and refund or asap send appropriate size, (narrower) Gas Strut fixtures Thank you”

“We love the look and feel of Get Laid Beds, and, for self-assembly, they are relatively easy to construct. The customer service is excellent - quick response, a real person to talk to, adaptable and helpful. The only downside is we have had a couple of little faults in the wood of the two beds we have ordered - a large splinter was on the recent one. The company always replaces which is great - so its just the extra hassle.”

“I have bought 3 beds from here over the years, so overall I am happy. Some small paint blemishes on this last one, maybe more obvious in white than other finishes... Generally straightforward assembly but I do think the instructions would benefit from adding text instructions step by step. Also, having just built this 3rd bed from scratch I now realised that the second one I got, 2 years ago, must have been partly assembled then taken apart as I can now see that the headboard panels were not put together snuggly enough. The headboard had come fully assembled so I didn't know at the time. I think if you are selling something that has been assembled and then maybe returned to you, you need to at least check that the assembly is good.”

“Easy to order on line. I did think I'd made a mistake and so telephoned. Staff were so helpful and polite. The bed then arrived when it was supposed to and was easy to put together. Quality of materials is excellent. I do have another bed from these folk, it is still going string even after 2 house moves. I would say originally we purchased the hard mattress, it was too hard for myself. This time we bought the medium, it doesn't feel much softer. I would say this is personal opinion and must add both mattresses received are quality products.”

“Pleased with final result, however self assembly instructions were not clear. Not impressed with delivery company - we selected a date. Late on chosen date we were told delivery would be 3 days later. Then the following day bed frame delivered with hardly any notice.”

“We Finally Found the Bed We Were Looking For! My partner and I had been on the hunt for a good-quality bed for ages. Our old one had served us well, but we were tired of overpriced, flimsy options from big-name stores—beds that looked good online but felt hollow and cheaply made in person. We also needed something that fit under our Velux window, which made the search even trickier. Most stores seemed to cater to more traditional tastes—perfect for my mum, maybe, but not for us. We wanted something modern, minimalist, and solid. That’s when my partner discovered Get Laid Beds. Right away, I was drawn to the transparency in the reviews and the emphasis on quality craftsmanship. We went back and forth for about a month, debating whether to take the plunge. But honestly, nothing else came close in terms of price for the level of quality they were promising—so we went for it. The bed arrived about two weeks later. Communication was clear, and delivery was smooth—no damaged packages or missing parts. The fact that it arrived on a lorry and was heavy gave us confidence right off the bat. Unboxing it was a joy. You could tell immediately that it wasn’t mass-produced. Every piece was solid wood—beautifully crafted, and clearly made with care. The instructions were easy to follow, and even the screws were high quality (none of those cheap ones that strip after one turn!). We did make one small mistake: we only ordered one underbed drawer instead of two. I reached out to customer service, and they were amazing—offered free delivery for the second drawer without hesitation. We had the new one within a couple of weeks. All in all, we’re absolutely thrilled. The bed looks great, feels incredibly sturdy, and we got exactly what we were looking for: exceptional quality at an honest, fair price. “The quality of this bed is excellent. The wood wash colour is not as dark as I would like. An option to go darker would be perfect. We'll pain it ourselves now, as this was not an option. Also delivery company would not enter the house. Bit ridiculous when you're on your own.”

“Money well spent! The bed I ordered exceeded my expecations in every way - excellent craftsmanship, wonderful quality, beautiful finish. I have never been more pleased with a furniture purchase than I was with the Kensington Bed (honey finish). It's abolutely beautiful. The customer service was also impressive! I was in the process of relocating from New York City to London and ordered the bed from New York. The representative on the phone was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. It gave me every confidence to proceed with ordering a bed I'd never seen in person. I also appreciate that you can select your desired delivery date - which of course makes the process so much better. I highly recommend this product (and company!) to anyone considering them.”
