“Cons: EU mattress does not fit EU bed. Despite sending photos showing that the bed is 3cms too short, they would not accept this and blamed the Simba mattress (measured and correct). The mattress literally hangs over the end and up in the side of the bed. Pro: Delivery was great and customer service generally very pleasant to speak with, despite their emphatic denials that the problem couldn’t be on their end.”

“Purchased two Oxford double beds last month. Both service and delivery were really helpful and very easy. When I needed another slat for each bed (due to the type of mattresses I’d bought) they were sent out very quickly. Overall, I’m really pleased with the quality of the bed and the service received”

“Great service on the phone when ordering from Spencer. Great bed frame- it's the second one we've ordered in natural raw pine- it's lovely, totally non- toxic and strong and good quality. Only gripe is the courier- you don't get a window of time when delivery occurs and have to wait in all day anytime until potentially 6pm- although mine came about 11am - but nevertheless you can't make any plans for the day just in case. I highly recommend the product.”

“My first time buying from get laid beds. I'm really happy with my purchase! I visited the local showroom in Leicester l, and the sales assistant I believe it was Steve or Stephen was really friendly and patient as it took me some time to choose a colour. I was given some samples to take home which really helped, as I was less stressed trying to pick a colour on the spot. I ended up purchasing the classic bed in the cinammon stain. The delivery was on time, and the overall customer service has been great. I would definitely recommend this brand to anyone”

“We received our first bed which unfortunately had incurred some damage due in delivery after contacting customer support. They happily replaced the bed for us construction took us an hour and a half with the drill and the result is a good looking solid bed. Customer support delivery and product quality are all very good. It was a shame about having to return the first product.”

“We purchased the Deco Bed together with a mattress. Purchase, communication and delivery were excellent. Our bed is solid wood with a great finish and we are very pleased with it. Still we decided the mattress was not us and return it. Returns always stressful, especially when costly, but this is where GLB’s costumer service excels. Our wish to return was not questioned, a replacement plastic cover for the mattress was with us in a day, the mattress was removed a few days after and our refund was paid into our back shortly thereafter minus a small fee. I really can’t imagine what better customer service might look like and GLB is now top of list for beds.”

“The bed I have bought has been reported to be creaky, it’s expensive for the price. If you must buy one of these don’t go for the base model as the wood isn’t very good.”

“Some of the parts had a rough finish as if they had been laid down in dust after varnishing. The grain of trounded parts on the headboard posts was raised and rough, and deeper crevices ha not been fully stained. What is not shown in the pictures is the number of screws that are used to hold it together. Not exactly great craftmanship that I was expecting. Overall disappointing considering the cost.”

“We are delighted with our new bed, a space saver king size. The website was easy to navigate and contained a lot of helpful information. The wood samples arrived within a couple of days of requesting them – very useful for deciding which finish to order. Living in the remote, rural Scottish Highlands, we didn’t expect next day delivery but were amazed when the bed arrived within 48 hours. We were notified of the delivery time. The bed was transported in 4 packages, each of which I could move by myself. The packaging was sturdy cardboard and so recyclable. The package containing the assembly instructions was clearly marked – very helpful. There was a slight hiccup in that we had been sent the ‘ordinary’ king size instructions not the space saver version. As my husband dutifully followed the instructions, it became apparent that the slats would not be level with the top of the frame as they should be on the space saver. I asked a question via the chat on the website. AI answer not helpful but within a very short time a human being had picked up my query and via the chat and also by email had sent the correct version of the instructions. (The side pieces and central strut just had to be fitted the other way up.) Sometimes good customer service becomes apparent in dealing with a problem. It took my husband a couple of hours to assemble the bed. I’m sure that Get Laid’s own people would be able to do so more quickly. The fact that the beds are UK made was a major factor in our choosing Get Laid and we would order from them again.”

“The bed came punctually and was easy to assemble. It looks good as a piece of furniture. There are 2 small and 1 larger mark on it from manufacturing which I am disappointed about. I emailed the company with photos but got no reply.”

“The entire process from start to finish was flawless. Customer service kept us updated about the progress of our bed frame being built and it was delivered exactly when they said it would be. Our amazing delivery driver put it together in less than half an hour and now we have a gorgeous bed.”

“The customisation and range of options was really what got us to look into Get Laid Beds, we wanted something sturdy and highlighting simply the beauty of wood. Upon reception, it was easy to easy to assemble, and so far, we're really happy with it. However, few issues with delivery - we got the wrong date of delivery confirmed on order due to a system issue and then the carrier (AIT) misdirected half our parcels - but customer service was helpful and got in touch to resolve the issue really quickly each time.”
