“Website is impressive but service is not. Delivered and installed a double bed last week but brought a single mattress ! Had to wait a whole week ( it’s only Leicester to Birmingham !!) before they brought the correct double mattress and this was with a courier company who struggled. But the icing on the cake was having paid for pm delivery and having confirmation in writing then being rung at 7am to be told it was the next delivery. The bed looks adequate though it has yet to be tried. But the attitude /customer service is quite frankly shocking, leaving too sour a taste to consider ever buying from them again…..”

“I'm very impressed with the Every Night mattress, I could have bought one from any furniture shop or online. But I ordered an Every Night single mattress for my son from you a few weeks back and was really taken with the quality of it, so it was no contest really.”

“My bed was delivered in three parts. One box was damaged and dented. Parts of the bed were chipped, scratched or cracked. The paint job was uneven and had obviously been moved while the paint was wet, leaving an uneven and marked finish.”

“Positives: Nice wood and quality finish. Negatives: The bed is narrower than advertised so the mattress overhangs on both sides making it impossible to sit or sleep on sides. Will likely ruin the mattress eventually. While Assembely is easy, it's near impossible to properly align the slats. OCD mans nightmare. Would have been nice if some markers or indentations were made in the frame.”

“I absolutely love the bed. It’s really great quality. I couldn’t be happier. However, do check your postcode regarding delivery. If you are considered rural (I am Exmouth, 35,000 plus population). It comes through fedex and there is no assembly. If you are a single person. Please take this into consideration. Yes, it can be done in your own, but it’s a bit of a job. Factor in time and don’t recruit a moody teen to help you. I will be ordering another bed in the future, but will ensure a friend is ready to help.”

“The bed itself is great, really good quality. Feels well made. The instructions in parts were poor, number of screws required said multiple different numbers and a lot of screws were missing, I had to go and buy more in order to complete the build. Could just have been an error of 1 bag of assorted screws missing but you’d think for the price of the bed these checks would be made before sending out for delivery.”

“I love our new Tokyo bed! The finish of the wood is lovely, and it was a nice touch that the name of the person who had made the bed was made known. Our one issue came with self-assembly. On the website, an electric screwdriver/mallet is supposedly optional, however we found that the electric screwdriver was absolutely necessary as the holes where the screws were to be fitted had not been drilled enough to actually fit the screws! The occasional hole was drilled more than another, but broadly, all were shallow. I’m not sure if this is how it should be but if it is then it needs to be made clear that the electric screwdriver/drill is a necessity.”

“My son scoured the internet looking for the bed he wanted and found it on Get Laid. Ordering was easy and communication up to the date of delivery was excellent. Assembly was straightforward and my son is extremely happy with the bed. It looks great. One point that could improve assembly would be having the slat screw holes in the bed frame pilot drilled ensuring equally spaced boards.”

“I found out about this company through a friend who raved about it! I wasn’t sure about the it but took advantage of the sale! I had an issue with the delivery date as I made a mistake, I got in-touch and they were extremely helpful and made the delivery a week earlier and for no extra charge! The items I bought are of an excellent standard and feel very luxurious - I am very happy to recommend this company and their products!”

“Good service overall. Assembly process was difficult due to manufacturing. I called support in relation to the pilot holes not matching up. I got through straight away and was told that I could send an email with photos of the defective pieces but this just seemed to be the way the bed was, with the pilot holes not matching up.”

“I ordered a bed and mattress from Get Laid afew years ago (mainly because I liked the name of the company lol). I was super impressed with the bed frame and the finish of the wood. The mattress did develop a dip after a couple of years but they replaced it for me under warranty. Service is 10/10. Beth dealt with the replacement of my mattress under warranty and it was as simple as a few emails. Thank you!!”

“I ordered a 4ft bed and 4ft mattress, it turned out that the 4ft bed been a space saver bed actually was only big enough for 3ft 6 mattress, however were advised that mattress should hang over slightly. Customer service were ok but we had assembled bed so we had to take apart and send. As we want a 4ft bed not a 3ft 6”
