Zealthy is a scam!! Avoid at all costs!! This is the actual threat of cancellation sent me me from Zealthy on February 23, 2024; 5:40 pm: “ Your PA approval will be cancelled and your provider will not be able to send your GLP-1 prescription to your pharmacy if you do not sign up for additional months of care. Once the PA is cancelled, it will take up to 14 days to receive a response from your insurance Get GLP-1 sent to local pharmacy.” This is my actual response to Zealthy’s threat to cancel my PA (pre-authorized) prescription from being sent to my local pharmacy for pick up. “Please refrain from contacting me again in regards to sending my PA prescription to my pharmacy for local pick up. It is not now nor ever, has been approved/preauthorized/PA. It is a “covered” medication under my plan but ONLY for TYPE 2 DIABETES. As the Zealthy “Cover My Meds” database states and per (redacted doctor’s name) supposedly, my provider at Zealthy, my primary diagnosis is OVERWEIGHT. “ “I have contacted Express Scripts on multiple occasions in regards to this matter. Express Scripts, my pharmacy benefit provider since 2013, has none, zero, ANY record Zealthy or any of its representatives submitted a prescribed medication on my behalf for preauthorization/PA.” “Express Scripts has provided their protocol for submission of medications for preauthorization, which is: the claimant/insured will be notified in writing of any decision for approval or denial, from whom it was submitted, with diagnoses and associated ICD10 codes, and the reason for approval or denial. If approved, the claimant/insured will be informed of the amount of any copay, if any, is the responsibility of the insured. If denied, instructions for an appeal will be provided.” (Express Scripts also stated my copay, if preauthorized/PA, would have been $25. Since it is not approved for OVERWEIGHT and only for TYPE 2 Diabetes, the out of pocket cost is $1549.53 per month from my local pharmacy.) “Express Scripts has not issued to me any such letter because no submission for preauthorization has ever been completed by Zealthy, its representatives or any other company. (The only record Express Scripts has for medications submitted on my behalf requiring preauthorization was in 2021 for home infused chemotherapy medication.)” “Further, Express Scripts went above and beyond to see if the diagnosis of OVERWEIGHT would have been approved. The answer is no; only for TYPE 2 DIABETES.” Express Scripts also stated the criteria for an appeal to be considered. “Occasionally on appeal, the diagnosis of prediabetes, an AIC greater than 6.0, and having failed Metformin therapy or other oral antihyperglycemic medications AND with comorbidities of obesity, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, copd, or heart disease would be considered for approval on appeal to the medical director of Express Scripts.” “I understand Zealthy uses “Cover My Meds” as a database to check for covered medications under an insured’s plan (not for approved diagnoses), I actually have a copy of mine (see attached) from Zealthy which states this form is for records only “do not send to plan” and “does NOT represent preauthorization.” It also provides the provider, (name, address and NPI) the diagnosis of OVERWEIGHT, and the ICD10 code E66.3.” “Your continued effort to collect membership fees, ($600 for 3 months), BEFORE Zealthy will forward the “PA” prescription to the pharmacy for local pick up constitutes fraud.” “I am posting this to information all social media, medical boards, BBB, and any/all legitimate review databases I can find to prevent anyone from being scammed by Zealthy and its attempts to collect membership fees before “PA” prescriptions can be sent to their local pharmacies for local pickup.” I have removed, for the purposes of this review, any personal information and the attachment as it contains sensitive/protected health information. I would have been out any membership fees prepaid to Zealthy and have to pay $1539.53 to pick up my prescription!! Advice to all: check with your insurance company yourself before prepaying any membership fees to Zealthy! DO NOT TRUST Zealthy when you are informed your prescription has been PA/preauthorized. Total scam!!! Avoid at all costs! Date of experience: February 23,

This company is a scam. They charged me $49 before I saw what their products and services cost, review of legitimacy and medical standards of practice. This place is BAD NEWS.

Worst customer experience of my life. I started using Zealthy for Wegovy back in September. The experience in the beginning was amazing. I had a dedicated Doctor and Coach that followed up and responded to timely messages. It was wonderful. Then in Dec I started experiencing problems with the website where I couldn't access messages and communicate with my doctor or care coordinator. I was also unable to update payment information. I called and emailed and texted multiple times and it took over a month to get the messaging issue resolved. At the end of Jan, I was told that I would receive a credit for my membership in the amount of $135 plus $30 for my trouble. I was still not able to update payment information but they said they would work on it. In the meantime, I attempted to order new medication because my insurance would no longer cover my Wegovy. I was prescribed compound semaglutide at the beginning of Feb. Then I was charged $135 for the month that i was supposed to have free. Finally, someone apologize for the mistake and told me that the $135 I was charged would be credited toward the cost of my medication. Great! Another couple of days go by and still no shipment of medication so I call once again and was told that since I haven't paid there is no order for the medication. This all sounds frustrating but it isn't even the worst part. Each time I send a message or call I am told that Zealthy apologizes and it will be escalated. Or I will receive a "standard message" reply that doesn't even address the issue at hand. Each day when I speak with someone new I have to go through the whole issue from start to finish because they either don't document or don't read the notes from previous customer interactions. I am sitting here over 2 months later after calling, emailing and messaging so many times that I lost count. I have spent hours dealing with this and I still don't have any resolution or even a glimmer of hope that I might get my medication. I cannot begin to express how frustrating it is to speak to customer service over and over and never get anything resolved. I am now telling anyone who will listen -DO NOT USE ZEALTHY for any healthcare needs. They will only take your money and give many many headaches.

Don’t sign-up or subscribe to with this company!!!! Nothing but a month long headache!!! I signed up Jan 17th. Almost a month later & after putting in a dispute with my charge card & reaching out to Zealthy on several occasions inquiring on my status, they now sent the medication! The fees are also not fully disclosed until you see them hit your CC. They charge you $49 as a fee + $216 for membership and $799 for the medication. For 3 weeks, I went back & forth messaging Zealthy enquiring on the status of my medication with no status. I had enough & put in a dispute with my charge card. Zealthy knew I put in a dispute & they asked that I cancel the dispute claim with my charge card, which I didn’t do!!! Of course today, 2/13 I received notification that the medication shipped!!! Not my problem- I’m not going to cancel the dispute with my charge card as I have in writing & asked for a full refund with my charge card on 2/7/24. They also advised on 2/11 they couldn’t ship my prescription with the dispute, but they shipped it anyways. Messages from Zealthy that I have in writing from their message! 2/6/24 We really apologize for the inconvenience and trouble. as per checking, yes you are correct, the concern was escalated already to our pharmacy team to expedite the shipping of medication. We will monitor this situation and we will keep you posted for updates. 2/11/24 Hi the pharmacy has received the prescription request and is ready to ship. We noticed there is a dispute your account, in order to ship the prescription the dispute has to be cancelled. 2/13/24 It looks like your Tirzepatide order has already shipped so the pharmacy is unable to cancel it at this time. I will reach out to my supervisor to see how we should best move forward. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause

At first it seemed easy and so many perks and help. Last night I applied. Today their website actioned me to schedule a provider appointment so 8am we both email it’s down not working. And she told me no appointment needed for weight loss and she’d have them refund the 99$ fee then I said cancel the 11:15 since I don’t need one thought it was fine. Nope my injection declined because I was charged 99$ for 2 visits I didn’t actually have no need. Screen shot my provider stating this and their reply. Because it says I made one it’s valid. Not that they agree since it wasn’t my fault and then a 1:00 appointment notification popped up seriously I canceled while crying they would charge me again and then said give another try? I said how. You won’t apply 200$ to my prescription which is why it declined from those charges and your whole page says HELPING HERE FOR YOU REACH OUT until I canceled at 1 I got a reply. Except emails with Ashley the provider she is so kind. So thank you for taking my 200$ and today I was hopeful and now I can’t even get the help I’ve waited for so read this and avoid feeling like the dumb obsessed girl no help and no more for it. Emails are my provider asking for my refund and trying to HELP me and the text is a book saying it’s valid. ****text screen shot wouldn’t upload 3 times but feel free to find my Other reviews I’ll make sure to provide my point and valid proof****

Hello. I'm sorry to see you were double charged by mistake. It looks like one of the charges was refunded and they are trying to get the other one resolved as well.

ZEALTHY IS A SCAM! They tell you that they are going to submit to your insurance for preauthorization, but before my preauthorization had even been submitted, an employee accidentally sent me a text telling me that insurance doesn't cover the compounded medications. In other words, they already know that it won't be covered and they tell you that you only have to pay for the first month of meds, before they get authorization from your insurance. They then autoship at full price without letting you know. I placed my order at almost midnight on Friday night. I cancelled it Saturday after learning I was being scammed by Zealthy. They ignored my requests and on Monday they told me "oops your order shipped and we can't refund or cancel shipped orders." They also start shipping meds before a provider really reviews your information, so there is zero medical oversight. This company should be sued and I have no doubt there will end up being a massive class action suit. There is also no real care team-- you can't reach anyone by phone or email. All you'll get is a voicemail and they don't return calls.

Hello. Within the signup flow, we do not bill for anything without showing the costs. We will review the flow to see if there's a way we can make the costs more clear. We work with insurance to cover brand name medications. Unfortunately, compound medications are not covered by insurance. They are significantly less expensive than brand name medication out-of-pocket (~80% less). If you requested compound medication, we work as quickly as possible to process and ship that medication, since members want to get medication as quickly as possible. It looks like your medication was processed upon receipt.

This company was recommended by a friend. I joined, they took my money and I didn’t receive medication for over a month. When I tried to cancel, they said I was unable to. I finally received 1 month of medication almost 6 weeks later. Then when it was time for my second dose (I purchased 3 mo membership) I was told I couldn’t get the medication I was on and they tried to switch me to another one. I was Inundated with texts and emails after my initial purchase up to 30 a week I even requested they stop and was told that was not possible. This was a horrible experience and complete FRAUD! Please save yourself the headache and go to a reputable weight loss provider!

Other than the medication that I finally received (after they lost my order) working well, this company is a joke. Horrible customer service. Horrible communication between all of the “providers.” Horribly expensive “membership” fee that was required monthly that you received hardly any support from. I constantly had unanswered questions and concerns and it would take them sometimes a week to get back to me with a less than adequate answer. All in all a horrible experience, so I switched companies. Zero stars.

The absolute worse. The communication is great at first, but turns horrible as soon as they collect your money. They continue to say that your insurance hasn’t responded (although they advertise it takes a week or two - I’m going on 3 months and Haven’t heard a thing.) they continue to charge you a monthly fee even though they aren’t providing you with anything of substance. The coaching is a joke. They ask you how you’re doing, expect you to just refer to online material and come up with your own solution…which I could easily do for free. All the coaching gets you is a “YOU GOT THIS.” They magically offer you a ”discounted” version of a GLP-1 which ends up totaling over $700 since they force you to signup for the monthly program for three months in order to get the medication because they need to “monitor” you. Not one single NP has asked me how I was doing in two months. The website will say one thing. The thread of nurse practitioners will say something else and your billing and medication cycle will also be different. I’d get an email saying it was time to renew, so I’d do that (assuming they meant refill), then I go to do that using the link they suggest and then be prompted to sign up for another three months (even though this was only my first refill of the 3 month prescription I already paid for.) Then I complained and got my medication, and a day later got an email saying my prescription expired or they were advertising some other discount. I tried cancelling my account- no one ever picks up the phone and I have yet to hear from anyone via email. It’s been 1 week. I’m not sure if this is a scam or if it is just the most poorly managed site on earth. DONT DO IT. I also took the medication and have been eating well and haven’t lost ANY weight. Wouldn’t be surprised if they are prescribing water. If someone is a lawyer. Please look into this.

I turned to Zealthy for access to the starter dose of weight loss medication due to the national shortage. After a month, I am no closer to the medication. They said they sent out my first dose on 1/11 and I paid $275 for it. After two weeks of waiting, it never showed up. Today, they charged me another $275 and mailed out another dose (even though they told me they could no longer ship to my state) BUT they sent it to a random address I don’t have on file. When I called to ask what is going on, their customer service representative was incompetent and seemed to be reading off a script that did not answer my questions. I believe their providers and coaches utilize AI to communicate which is incredibly harmful for people taking this medication. I am waiting the estimated 1-2 days to have their escalation team reach out to me, then I’m doing a charge back and reaching out to the Better Business Bureau. The fact that I’ve been charged twice for medication I have not received is disgusting. They also say “no refunds” even if they mailed medication to a random address. Then they’ll have the audacity to tell you to go to that address to pick it up yourself. Absolutely vile business practices. Zealthy is a scam and will only take take take your money, providing haphazard medical advice in the meantime. Please be cautious before giving them your money. You’re unlikely to see anything from it.

I started Zealthy in October 2023. I don’t think this company is necessarily a complete scam, but a lot of annoying things added up over the months I used their service. I cancelled my membership with them in January 2024. My first month was discounted, which was great. What they don’t tell you is that they keep offering you “discounts” if you pay 3 months at a time in advance. This company requires a membership fee separate from the GLP-1 medication. My “care team” first tried to get prior authorizations for name brand drugs (Ozempic, Wegovy, then Saxenda) using my insurance. This took a week or more per request. I was able to log into my insurance to see whether or not I was approved immediately, it just took Zealthy 5+ days each time to tell me. For some reason, my care team did not offer compounded options right away even though I explicitly asked about them. I basically spent a month on a membership fee to get nothing done. Here is a detailed list of my other issues: • I was approved for Saxenda, but I didn’t realize it was a daily injection and not as effective as semaglutide. No one explained this to me beforehand • I had multiple questions about interactions with meditations I’m taking, it took a while to get answers • Pricing is very confusing - especially over text. Some places it says semaglutide as low as $130/month, some places it says $150/month. I still have no idea how this is even possible through this company. No one gives you a direct answer. The advertised price was different than what I was actually charged. Their renewal options are also unclear. I ended up paying $800 total for 3 months of semaglutide & membership. It wasn’t clear to me whether the cost would be increased when I got to the higher doses • Chat functionality to communicate with them on their website is not that great. They have you download an “app” which is just a bookmark to their website. This is a bit misleading. Plus it’s not well engineered • My “care team” was made up of seemingly random people and they only communicate via this chat messaging system, which felt very impersonal. I had multiple doctors and admin people chime in which was also a bit weird • Text messages to notify me that I had chat responses on their site stopped working (which means I missed messages until I checked the website on my own) • Chat says “expected wait time 2-3 days” for each message. It was frustrating to have to wait so long for responses • My care team sent me multiple links that did not work. I’d tell them this and they would send me more broken links • When the form to refill semaglutide worked, they asked me for more money at the end even though I paid ahead for 3 months. That made no sense if it was a refill form. I ended up having to contact the pharmacy directly. I don’t think I was supposed to do that but they were always nice and helpful • Someone did answer when I called the listed phone number for Zealthy support, but they were unable to give shipping details for medication or any real information. They told me my monthly shipments would just come automatically (which they did not) • Coaching was OK, but they just pointed you to the generic diet and exercise plans on the website (I didn’t need this) • Tracking information for any medication was delayed before it showed up in my account and it never updated in my account when the shipment was received. You would think that this would work really well, but it did not • The website is very buggy - many times it stuck on the loading screens • i was told I would get a “pen injector” for compounded semaglutide, but that was not the case. They sent me a vial and syringes • No detailed instructions were given in the beginning on how to use insulin syringes. Eventually they had a video • When the package arrived, it wasn’t packaged well for medication. It was a loosely sealed bag with an ice pack • Overall this feels like start-up and very disorganized. They are not thinking about the customer’s experience • I received a random message that said my account was cancelled. My care team told me to ignore this • Unclear whether the compounded medication even worked. I have used Ozempic before and lost weight. I did not lose any weight with this company in 3 months, even though I watch what I eat and exercise daily • Forgot to send the “included” oral medications, even after I reminded my care team • The Pharmacy they use is Red Rock St. George. When I contacted them a few times for my last refill, they said, “we were making medication, this might be the vial we were missing.” This does not inspire confidence in the source of my medication I decided after all of this to switch to a different company who has excellent ratings on TrustPilot. So far, they have been extremely professional and easy to communicate with. I will leave a review for this new company on TrustPilot in a few months!

Zealthy is a scam service. They will delay prior auth for as long as it takes to rid you of your money, then they will request two months of service payments in advance before shipping your script to your pharmacy. And oh year, the medications are currently on backorder. It's a monetary gimic. Avoid at all costs -- leaving reviews everywhere I can.

People, my prescription was approved and paid for Monday January 07th 2023 around 2am. Today is Thursday the 11th at 11pm my medication still haven’t ship also I paid for express shipping… I would never use this company again! Had I known they were going to ship my medication when they feel like it I would have never ordered from them! I’m calling my bank first morning and reporting the transaction as fraud! I called their customer service and spoken to someone that sounded like they were in China somewhere! All they could tell me is that they received my payments! I wouldn’t trust this company. And if you’re in need of this medication, try a legitimate company and not this one!

Hi Phil. I'm sorry you experienced this unreasonable delay. 11 days is much too long - we typically aim to get medication within a week. In this case, the pharmacy said their production was delayed due to weather conditions. We contacted them asking to cancel the shipment, but they said it was already en route. You should have received a tracking number yesterday (1/17/2024) and it should arrive today. Please message support@getzealthy.com if you have any issues. We strive to provide much faster support and service than this - but fell short in this case. I hope you find the medication helpful and meet your goals, whether with Zealthy or another company. Best wishes.

Wouldn't purchase from this company. the first shipment went pretty smoothly. once your first month was up, they want you to purchase the next 3 months which I did. The prescriber upped my medication dosage and said that I should have the prescription in 7 business days. They had no problem taking the $700 immediately but then it took over 3 weeks to receive. When I finally did receive it, it is the wrong dosage and a different brand than the previous prescription that I had. I have now had a lapse in my prescription and I had to pay the same price for a lower dosage than I was prescribed. Not a happy customer.

Do NOT use this company! The first thing they do is charge your credit card for a weight loss membership. I wasn’t able to complete the questionnaire due a flaw in their website (tried on both laptop and phone). So I requested a link, to which they sent and I completed the medical questions. After that NOTHING. I messaged (they don’t respond to messages for 3-4 days minimum). I also called the number on the website, everyday for a week. Left a message every day and still haven’t received a call back. I asked them to please cancel my subscription, but they let me know that they can’t do that. I would have to do it myself, which I’m assuming means I’m not getting my $375 back. By the way, I have chat logs and phone logs to back this up. I’ve been looking forward to taking this step and am so sad to be disappointed with this company. Luckily I did go with another company and have a prescription on the way in one day.

The pharmacy my semaglutide is coming from seems to be an FDA compliant pharmacy, but the companies communication is very scammy. I've been asking their care team for a month now if their semaglutide contains salt or acetate compounds (I've been reading those are unsafe) and they keep saying they'll get back to me but never do. The cost is also extremely misleading when you sign up. They advertise getting semaglutide with no insurance for around $130 a month but thats just the membership fee. In reality the monthly cost comes out to $335. Unless it's covered by insurance, which most do not. Hence needing something like zealthy. They are also now telling me that the 6 month membership i paid for is only 3 months, even though it still advertised as a 6 month membership on their site. It seems like they are getting a lot of fake reviews on this site too.

Horrible customer service. I've been trying to get an issue resolved since November 3rd and Zealthy still can't fixed the problem! They have charged me in total 2 months of membership fees and for a compound prescription that I've never received! They placed a PA with my insurance company (which is supposed to be done and get a response from insurance company within 2 weeks). However, they drag their feet doing so in order to charge you another month of membership. I joined 10/21/2023 and paid 1 month membership, waited the 2 weeks and my insurance denied the PA, Zealthy said they will try for another prescription PA. They did so and another 2 weeks goes by. In the meantime I decided to move forward with the compound prescription costing me $250, I placed the order and paid on 10/31/2023, Zealthy finally processed the order and "supposedly sent the prescription to their pharmacy" on 11/3. I kept checking in to see where my prescription is since on the portal it shows 5-7 business days as a processing time. Each time I asked Zealthy I'm told someone will look into it for me and I'll get a response in 2-3 days from a Zealthy care team member. After weeks of receiving the run around from Zealthy I decided to join another company and use their weight loss program on 11/26/2022. They ordered me a compound prescription and I received the order in days! Ironically this other company uses the same pharmacy that Zealthy does. Now Zealthy contacts them and is somehow given the tracking number for the order I received from this other company. I've personally contacted the pharmacy and brought this to their attention. They told me the NEVER received a prescription from Zealthy and do not know how they would have received that tracking number since that order was placed with another company. I've since copied Zealthy on the emails with the pharmacy and still no resolution. I just want my money back. Zealthy responds on their portal stating a supervisor will contact me in 2-3 days. Zealthy I have submitted all documentation from the pharmacy as well as the shipping label that clearly states that the order is from another company. Funny that I filed a claim to dispute the charge with my credit card company and Zealthy magically sends me an email with "tracking info" for an order received 11/29! An order that was placed with another company. Please save yourself the aggravation and choose another company, preferably one that responds sooner than 2-3 days.

This company is horrible, unreliable, unprofessional, and did not deliver the product and services purchased. If you text messages through the portal, they respond 2-3 days later and the issue remains unresolved. Several different people respond to the messages without reading your concern. If you call support line it goes on loop of music then states all agents are unavailable and request you leave a message, but no one returns your call. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY I WILL BE REACHING OUT TO MY CREDIT COMPANY FOR A FULL REFUND OF 3 MONTHS OF SERVICES AND THE VIAL OF MEDICATION THAT WAS SENT AS IT IS NOT CORRECT DOSAGE AS ORDERED BY THIER PROVIDER.

My engagement with Zealthy turned out to be a hard lesson in what seems like deceptive practices. This experience has taught me the importance of warning others about their misleading tactics. When I signed up for their weight loss services, the actual costs vastly differed from what was advertised on their ads, social media, and website. The absence of any mention of additional medication fees led me to believe that the monthly service fee covered all treatment expenses. This omission wasn’t just misleading; it was blatantly deceptive. Their ‘Get started for $49’ promotion failed to reveal an extra $200+ MONTHLY cost for necessary medication, on top of the ongoing $130 monthly fee. Even the most basic plan ended up exceeding $300, which was deeply frustrating. Moreover, the non-refundable nature of the initial $49 payment compounded the misleading nature of their marketing tactics. It’s important to note that you can obtain the same medication from your doctor for free if eligible, along with a proper evaluation by a physician to ensure it’s suitable for you. A significant red flag emerged when I realized the system allowed medication selection post-payment without a proper assessment by a physician or nurse practitioner, disregarding the review of medical information and lab work. This disregard for prioritizing health over selling medication is alarming. Companies engaging in such practices endanger lives, prioritizing profit over ethical treatment. Their approach seems fundamentally unethical, deceptive, and geared toward scamming individuals. Upon recognizing the misleading nature of the service, I promptly initiated the cancellation process. However, this involved coercive tactics, including attempts to dissuade cancellation by offering a free month of membership and resorting to scare tactics, suggesting ineligibility for medication upon cancellation, and inducing guilt trips. They even coerced agreement to a no-refund policy during the cancellation attempt via the site. To prevent further unauthorized charges, I contacted my bank, blocking the merchant and initiating a chargeback. Additionally, the app’s cancellation procedure, which initially implied ‘cancellation’ but sneakily switched to ‘unsubscribe,’ mandated monthly re-engagement to avoid recurring charges. In response to these unethical financial practices, I reported this company to both the Better Business Bureau and consumer fraud watchdogs. The tactics employed to extract money are not just unethical but akin to outright theft.
