Despite checking whether a GiffGaff SIM would work in a mobile Wi-Fi device and being assured it does, it doesn’t. Been through troubleshooting and changing APN etc and it will not provide service. Had several communications with them they just keep coming back Rubbish. They’ve taken my money for a service that seems impossible for them Despite the fact they said they could. After several communications they will not return my money irrespective of the fact they have not and cannot provide the service they said they could. Warning to everyone to use a proper provider!

My wife with giffgaff for 5 years.. now she had a problem with texting. She can send a text but she can't receive a text.. we tried everything but nothing worked.. so she decided to get replacement Sim card . They send one but they want her to sign new 18 months contract.. and want to take a payment which already paid for this month. Terrible service q

I was disappointed and shocked with this network. I traveled to Dubai and added £10 of credit, which lasted only 8 minutes. I can't wait to cancel my contract. There are many other networks that are better than this!

Sent a phone with someone else's passcode. Sent it back and they returned it with same issue saying it was me who added the passcode. I only just turned it on. No quality control. Don't buy from them. Also, no customer service number.

I ordered a refurbished iphone 11. I fully charged it but then as soon as I started setting it up a message popped up saying the battery wasn't recognised. A Google search told me it was due to replacement by someone other than Apple or an authorized service provider. I have charged it 3 times in one day and it will go from 60% battery down to 0 instantly and cut out. It has done this several times today without much use so I can't even say I have overused it and drained the battery. The phone is being returned immediately. Don't waste your money.

Do not buy a phone through giffgaff. Recently purchased a phone through giffgaff with next day delivery- AFTER TWO DAYS of waiting I contacted them, just to find out that it was apparently lost in transit. Nobody from the customer service team informed me about the situation, they were just planning to issue a refund without telling me. Yes I will receive my refund, but in a weeks time - so I paid £650 just to get it back in a week. Absolute time waste, they should be more attentive and transparent with their customers. And before you say that this seems like a delivery issue, do understand that the giffgaff team should’ve contacted me immediately when they found out that it was ‘lost’ and not just issue a refund. If I didn’t contact them first, I would have not even known that it got lost. Big thanks

I'd like to let the readers know, I have never felt so abused by a company that I would leave a bad review. Giffgaff has changed that. Simply they are not human, when complaining to them, they hide behind the mechanical emails they send you. 16 years I was with them. As I said on trust pilot. God help you if something goes wrong!! I was made to wait 5 days while they looked into my case (during this time your phone is dead, even though I paid them £10 for the month) when the 5 days were up the information I gave them wasn't good enough! Guess what? Another 5 days for being an idiot. Could your business cope with that? I would love to go on about how badly you are treated. I'll leave it for you to find out.

Absolutely disgusted with this company! I bought a refurbished top grade iPhone 11 for my child so she can speak with her dad who lives abroad. I purchased it at the end of November and gave it to her for Christmas. The phones volume and speaker DO NOT WORK! Sent it back for repair as it's still in warranty and was told the repair is not in not in warranty and they have requested £369 to repair it! I should never have bought a refurbished phone from this cowboy company!

Bought a refurbished phone in like new condition and was sent a phone with scratches on the screen and body though like new is meant to be like new with no physical defects. Waste of money and time as now they have suggested sending it back to be replaced, but doesn’t really guarantee I’ll get what I paid for as they already made the fault in the first place I should of bought the very good grade for £100 less as that is what I received..

Useless company. Bought a phone 3 weeks ago for next day delivery. It’s still not arrived. They use the equally useless DPD. Two companies that won’t talk to customers ! Useless

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! My sim was illegally swapped. After waiting 11 days to get it back every 7 days it won't let me make or receive call and texts. This has happened 3 times. Now I can't top up at all. They say it's my phone, the phone shop say it's giff gaff not processing the sim card properly. I'm now changing to asda or tesco, at least I can speak to a real person. 😡😡😡

I've never had so much trouble trying to activate a replacement sim "EVER" 1st problem wouldn't accept activation code 2nd problem didn't send the bank any kind of payment request when I pressed the activate key. 3rd problem wouldn't accept cvc card from another bank ... Result really bad headache, phone nearly got thrown at my TV 🤨 and when I checked my bank giffgaff had took the payment... Half an hour later giffgaff app suddenly seemed to realise payment went through... Now my phone works again... Just wanted to say thank you to what is ending up to be the worst network ever.

I brought a refurbished like new Samsumg A13 5G and it arrived the next day. Within hours of having it the screen would become completely unresponsive regularly and I'd have to keep resetting it to get it to work. The next day it got more regular so I sent it back, asking for a replacement and instead they just sent me a refund.

I purchased a refurbished Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 from GiffGaff, and within a year the screen developed stuck pixels despite no physical damage to the phone. I returned the phone under warranty, fortunately haven taking pictures from all angles before mailing the device. GiffGaff have now replied with a photo of the phone showing a significant amount of new damage that 1) I can prove was not there previously thanks to the pictures, 2) physically could not have happened during transit, 3) they are now attempting to charge me £302.00 to repair. I can only assume that the damage was caused by the repair centre staff, whether intentional or not, and they are now blaming me for the damage. I have raised a complaint and have now been refused the repair under warranty that I am entitled to. Do NOT buy any refurbished phone from GiffGaff unless you are fine treating the warranty as worthless, as otherwise they will put dents in your phone and charge you hundreds of pounds for the pleasure.
