“I'm satisfied with the training in GlobalKnowledge the only thing to mention is that lab virtual servers were very slow, I would recommend to upgrade hardware which runs labs for the students. Thank you.”
“Venue changed at the last minute, then started late due to technical issues for remote attendees/the trainer not understanding the technical equipment and having to get the receptionist to fix it. The first lab took an hour longer than expected partly due to other technical issues affecting the remote attendees leaving myself and others twiddling our thumbs with nothing to do. The trainer should have noticed the delay and the impact it would have and come back to them at a later time. This meant the whole afternoon was rushed, important information was skimmed over and we ran over schedule. This meant that we weren't able to complete the final lab unless we we're willing to stay more than 2 hours beyond the expected finish time, which i couldn't due to childcare commitments. I asked if i could complete it from home later but was advised it only stayed active for a limited period of time. To add insult to injury i asked where i could leave feedback and was directed to a website where login details were required, the trainer couldn't confirm what they would be so i conveniently couldn't leave feedback either. All in all, a waste of time and money. I'm going to have to attend another training session to cover the parts that were missed. I was due to use your services for a number of training courses for myself and my staff over the coming months but we'll be taking our business elsewhere in future.”
“This is the second time I have used Global Knowledge and both times I can not emphasize enough how good the courses were.
The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and was very good at sharing information to the class.
All staff at the centre were very helpful and gave a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
All in all a great experience.”
“The overall rating could have been higher, whilst the trainer was excellant both from a knowledge of the content but also from a personal experience perspective, they course content was riddled with mistakes.”
“Ken Goff who delivered the course was very professional in his approach and made attending the course enjoyable with his real world knowledge and expertise in ITIL.
The course folder that was handed out, is lay'd out well.”
“Excellent course, trainer really knew the subject and explained it perfectly, also went over areas we weren't sure about, would definitely recommend.”
“Technical issues (connectivity) encountered by the trainer were pretty often during the first 2 days.
The training material (offline one) quality was poor, images were pix-elated and hard to understand.
Unfortunately the trainer lacked some capabilities. The training itself was more like a discussion between colleagues in a meeting room, while waiting for the meeting to start. That was the actual feeling.”
“Overall the course provided a good overview of the capabilities of CRM and provided me with a lot of areas for development in my own time. My only criticism was with the method of delivery.
With a content-heavy course it was common for the trainer to spend many minutes talking about every tickbox, parameter or setting but very little time on providing context and why it was important to know it. My personal opinion is that each module should have been more interactive to encourage the learner to practice as they are learning instead of listening for 56 minutes and using for 4 out of any given hour on a small lab.
The manuals that were supplied were also littered with errors and were poorly written. The slides the trainer was using did not match the material in the manuals nor the order of the modules so it was quite often during the latter part of the week that I was unable to follow fully as what was being discussed was not relevant to what was in front of me.”
“I attended Global Knowledge - Leeds to attend a Prince2 course. The service i received there was outstanding, all of the staff were extremely friendly especially a lady on the ground floor called Jane.
Thank you very much to everyone at Global Knowledge! Please pass on my thanks to Jane.”
“Laptops were not ready to run the course, the exercises were little more than copying out answers, the course material was not taught in any meaningful way and all questions to the tutor seemed to be either sidestepped or ignored.”
“Extremely poor.
Ill prepared, hardware was not configured properly out of the box, network connectivity was required but not organised.
Trainer was ill prepared, did not lead in teaching, just skimming the teaching notes.
Demos were not performed.
Training exercises were essentially copy/paste exercises with no discussion or explanation.
Topics on which we asked for more information/discussion were sidestepped.”
“Course was well presented and very informative. If I have one criticism I thought the course could have been over another day or 2 allowing us to discuss the elements being taught and to see how these work in real life scenarios. Having to digest so much information in such a short time was very challenging. I definitely felt it was 'information overload'.”
“Very good course, with a very good instructor.
He was very thorough, answered all the questions, and showed a great deal of knowledge.
I think this course could do better with one extra day.”
“ITIL itself is really complex and dry and not easy to learn. However with our trainer Ken the course was great and ITIL became "real". Ken is a fantastic very capable teacher and really approachable all time during the course. Whilst giving really pracmatic examples during the course combined with some fun ITIL turned from a dry material into comprehensible interesting stuff. Thanks to Ken!”
