I attended a GK course on the 27th April 2016. This was the 'Selling Business Outcomes' Cisco course. This was a comprehensive course that would benefit sales professionals or sales engineers who need to sell Cisco - related products and services.

It was a very good experience... I could not attend the session in person (due to health issues) so asked for virtual session, everything for sorted for me in 2couple of days.. picture and sound quality was good... there are loads of option on the console.. and above all the trainer (Adam) was very good as well. The inly issue, I will call put for would be the extra £15 for taking exam at home (because of which I had to travel all the way to London). However, one of my colleague did everything from home and he was not asked for extra money or PO to be raised... may be something to think about... but overall a great experience. Thx: Rav

The "VMware 6.0 What's new" was a good course, but unfortunately we are on VSphere 5.0 Enterprise currently and the main discussion assumes that the users are on VSphere 5.5 and using the Enterprise Plus features of 5.5. It still gave me a good idea. I possibly should have gone for the 5 day install and configure. The disappointing thing was that no course notes were provided. Course notes are online. I like to make notes in the books within the chapters as we go along not a separate piece of paper. As there were only 5 people on the course the classroom had about 15-20 seats. So all students were spread around and unfortunately I needed to be close to front.

The tutor Les was very friendly and did his best to make the topic (ITIL foundation) accessible. The only thing that surprised me what the exam was paper based.

The ScrumMaster training was well-run, informative and useful. The instructor's experience was definitely a value-add to the course. Interaction among participants was key to understanding Scrum from all angles. Points of improvement would be to improve pacing and to provide more feedback on the tasks in the workshop. The first day went a lot slower then the second - perhaps this could be distributed better to load both days more equally? And feedback on the 'Sprints' in the workshop could be more objective and detailed. Overall it was a good workshop and I would recommend it to colleagues.

Enjoyable, well balanced. Sign up documentation could be rationalised.

The trainer, Duncan I think his name unfortunately could not deliver. He was not really teaching but rather talking. The trainer wouldn't go over what he has taught and wouldn't ask the class anything either. What I found really astonishing and dreadful was that not once in the whole 3 days did he ask any of us if we have any questions. I had to ask him and even raise my hand to get his attention. Moreover the method and style he taught was carried out in such a manner which deemed most of us to fail and so that was the case as out of the 16/17 people being taught only a handful passed and the remaining failed. Duncan's style of teaching was nothing less than awful and a failure to Global Knowledge. Duncan did not do Global Knowledge any justice by teaching in such a way. I really hope this feedback is taken on board and his teaching method is reviewed.

The sample questions are very helpful exercises to prepare for the exam. I found that the sample questions were all much easier to reply than the real exam. It would be much better when sample questions with the same level of difficulty could be used in the training to get prepared.

I attended a virtual session with Ian Wilkes. I was fortunate that this ended up being a 1 to 1 session and was impressed with Ian's ability to conduct the course and backup the material with personal experiences and issues on the subject and convey that into an understanding that will greatly benefit my future involvement with TSM. Thank you.

The accommodation for the training was fine, no issues with the equipment etc. The trainer did not seem to be 100% up to speed with the course, it seemed like he hadn't done the SharePoint 2013 Core Development course in a while or had not prepared, he had some problems explaining certain things clearly and getting the demos to work. This made it harder to understand what he was trying to explain as often we could not see examples working in a real world scenario. The course was too reliant on typing code in fast and seeing the outcome rather than going through the content slower and understanding what we were trying to produce.

The Selling Business Outcomes course is part of my on-boarding with my current organisation. The course is very informative and provides you with a good overview of outcome focused selling. Overall I enjoyed the course, the proof will be when I pass the exam. My only criticism is that we deviated off the general course as I had studied previously on the Cisco website so have had to spend time assessing which part went with which for my revision.

The course appeared to be aimed at folk with very little presentation experience. It was not tailored to my organization. The highlight was the ability to watch a video of oneself and critically analyse ones presentation style. This concept was very good, but the execution was poor because each presentation was presented, then the video reviewed, then the same material was used in the virtual presentation. This repetition was very boring.

Everything was ok. I enjoyed the course, learned a lot, and I will recommend you further. It would be very good, if the examples were less complicated. We spend, in some of the example, more time to understand the example itself, rather than understanding and working with the main subject. Best regards Firas Uthmani
