“I chose their best quality turf. It was full of weeds, which once pulled out has left bald patches all over my lawn and the grass was very thin to start with. To make things worse the cutter they have for the rolls left one end 2" wider the the other, making it impossible to lay neatly.”

“Can't fault them. Goods very reasonably priced and as described. Kept well informed of delivery status, delivered on time and driver very pleasant and helpful. Can't ask for more.”

“Never again ! poor service - load dumped on highway, blocking road and access. Removed by local council at my expense and deposed off. Asked driver at time to take away or put on private land. Said, up yours mate ! I'm not tacking it away or moving it! Then emails to company totally ignored ! BE WARNED !”

“I was pleased with the general service and helpfulness of staff. However, it was not useful to have the bags of gravel stacked one on top of the other. I understand it is common to split the bag and allow the contents to pour out. In my situation I had 1 man with a barrow emptying the bags and wheeling it round the back of the house. Splitting the bag would have made a mess and led to wastage. Fortunately I had a delivery of other materials from our local builders' merchants and they lifted the bag down for me.”

“Delivery is perfect as the fork lift truck driver is able to position the bags exactly where you want them. The quality of the contract bark is excellent, a visitor to my garden has already passed the details to a professional gardener. This is my second purchase of this bark and I am awaiting a further delivery. It looks fabulous.”

“Good delivery on strong pallets I am a real amateur gardener with no clue about laying turf. I followed very basic instructions found on the net and after two weeks my turf has taken root and growing nice and green. I did water it twice a day Good stuff”

“The delivery company ignored our instructions completely and placed pallets in a dangerous position. The delivery driver asked my wife to help move a 1 tonne pallet. Neither the delivery company or grasslands were helpful when contacted. Very poor and had to spend several hours trying to sort it out.”

“We ordered 850kg of Plum 40mm slate with free delivery within 3-5 days, and Grasslands delivered exactly what we ordered and when they promised to deliver it. The delivery driver was polite and placed the dumpy bag where we stated on the order. All in all a perfect transaction for the best price we could find on-line.”

“Had a delivery of slate chippings last week. We were told when I called it would be Thursday. I worked from home that day but the delivery did not arrive until the next day. I was not there to help the driver place the bag in the right place but praise to him with a little encouragement he did what we asked. The next order of chippings was ordered on Monday. I called STD on Wednesday and they told me it would be delivered on Thursday. Again it not arrive as described and again I had worked from home. I'm not at home today and if the order is not placed in the right place this would cause a huge amount of work for me and possible disruption for neighbours.”
