Thank you for your invitation to submit a review. While I don't like to say it, my experience with my purchase has been highly disappointing and 40 days after placing my order, I still have not received my equipment. I buy a lot of gym equipment and chose to try Gym Direct as a new provider, taking in good faith statements of product quality and prompt service. Having ordered and paid for my order in early January, I was expecting a day or two delay in dispatch given the time of year and likely holiday absence of some staff. A few days later this assumption was confirmed when I received an email indicating GD was aiming to dispatch by the end of that week (i.e. 12 Jan) or at the latest the following week. Another week later, I received an email from Lily, who was very polite, indicating my goods were in fact not in stock (not indicated at point of sale) and that there would be a four week delay in my order, apparently due to supply chain issues. Eventually, I received a few emails on 6-7 Feb indicating that my order was in transit, with consignment details indicating a 6 Feb delivery date (i.e. that day). I called the freight company only to be told that they hadn't received all the 19 parts of my order from GD. I had ordered a bench, dumbbell set and rack, which appears to have been split up into 19 separate items and drip fed to the freight company.After multiple calls to the freight company, and failure to deliver despite having all relevant information, authorisation to leave, and site access granted, my order has still not arrived. I therefore cannot comment on equipment quality and clearly cannot provide pictures of me enjoying my purchase, as you have requested. I have to say, this has been a wholly unsatisfactory experience and if asked to recommend Gym Direct as a purveyor of equipment in the future, it would be a hard NO from me. I am sorry to say that I will definitely shop elsewhere next time and recommend others do too.

The 10 set and barbells appeared to be in stock when I purchased. On time of sending was told 1 set was out of stock . When order arrived 3 sets where missing or out of stock.nothing was said about the extra sets not being there. So I hope they are really all on backorder as was mentioned after I had to ask the question .

The leg curl machine was an absolute nightmare to build. The instruction manual was pathetic, I even found pre-assembled pieces utilising the wrong bolts.

Easy to deal with and every transaction is super fast. As someone who wants my product asap Iove the fact that I have the option to collect from their warehouse (which is around the corner from my work) and if in stock I can pick up most products same day :)

I think gym direct is the best place to buy gym equipment, I am so happy with the equipment I have bought and I will not hesitate to shop there again. Staff are friendly during pickup and expedient. Do yourself a favor and buy all your equipment here.

After placing my order with Gym Direct, as any online website I’m always hesitant. To much surprise I had received my order in less than 24 hours, this was shipping to Melbourne. The best online experience I have ever had, the alert emails that were sent to me regarding the updates to my emails were amazing. The tracking of the shipment was great also. The products were even better, very heavy duty commercial quality pro style dumbbells and weight plates. Couldn’t have been more happier and will reorder with these guys!

Absolute rubbish quality, the rubber is already falling off, the hole is indented and not even a snug fit. sent an email to the gym direct team 4 days ago still no reply. Don't recommend it at all.

There was quite a confusion on my part due to the new lockdown restrictions, however, Gym Directs communication was top-notch! Their response was automatic and reassured me about when I should be expecting my packages. They all arrived fast despite Sydney's current restrictions and all perfect. Thanks again Gym Direct for being so patient and understanding, despite everything!

My order has yet to be delivered. Ordered 14/02 and now 02/03 and order has not been completely delivered as promised by 18/02. Very disappointing. Part of my order has been travelling on courtier between Vic and NSW on 4 occasions so far and has still not been delivered to me.

I was really unhappy with the service I was provided and the time and energy it took to complete an order. I had a $60 voucher I wanted to redeem with a code yet it took my sister-in-law (the person who boughtme the voucher) calling the gym direct office to verify that yes, she did in fact buy it for me before they would complete my order. They then refused to give me the $20 off (first order promo) as I was told that the voucher was being used as a special code and not the currency that it represented. I then made the choice to pick up my item from the Taren Point Warehouse (again, only given the pick up time option of 3:30 which for 99% of professionals, isnt feasable at all, seems like they really wanted to charge me shipping) only to recieve an email from the freight company that it was being delivered without my knowledge. I didn't mind it being delivered for free, but even when I called Gym Direct asking if it was being delivered they assued me that no I had to still pick up the item. I highly doubt I will be purchasing any other products from Gym Direct in the future. I am not one to every be upset or complain, especially with the year we have had however I was spoken to like I was a bit of a fool and that there was only one way to do anything. It's a shame as Gym Direct have always had great products and been reliable but this 3 week process has really put me off.
