Nice product but deceptive advertising and marketing. The wall bars I bought were marked on the website as Gift Ready. It was a very unpleasant surprise to then receive a box containing 161 parts some of which weighed 8 or 9 kilos! You don't buy a car and expect a bin full of bits to be dumped on your driveway but that's how it felt. Attempts to phone were answered by texts promising a call which never came. Emails were ignored and I have had to go back to me credit card issuer for a refund. I have not received an invoice let alone any guarantee. All adds up to outrageous and shameful conduct in my book.

Hi Edward, We’re sorry you were unhappy with your experience, however we do need to clarify a few points for accuracy. The product you purchased is a commercial-grade, wall-mounted fitness unit. As stated on the product page, it is delivered flat packed for safe transport and requires assembly and wall installation onto a structurally sound surface. This is standard for equipment of this size, weight, and safety requirement. The term “Gift Ready” was used to indicate purchase availability and suitability as a gift item, not that the product would arrive pre assembled. We acknowledge this wording could have been interpreted differently and are reviewing it, but assembly requirements were disclosed within the product description and installation notes. Assembly and wall mounting are not included in delivery services, as clearly outlined. Installation costs and third-party labour arrangements are the responsibility of the purchaser, which is standard across the fitness equipment industry. Regarding communication, we acknowledge delays in response during a high-volume period. That said, invoice and warranty documentation are issued electronically at purchase and remain available. While we regret that your expectations were not met, the product supplied matches its specifications and listing details. We take feedback seriously and use it to improve clarity, but we also stand by the accuracy of our product information. #GDTeam.

Ordering from Gym Direct has been frustrating and time-consuming. We placed our order on Nov. 15, but faced delays and missing items. Despite promises, we had to wait until today Dec. 12 and maybe even more weeks to discover it would take another weeks to receive the complete order. The slow and inadequate customer service made the process very very complicated. We expected a quick delivery, not a month-long wait.

You have stated I picked this item up, but as per my conversation with Aaron, I have not picked this item up. I am still waiting for this and another 3 orders that I need to pick up

Items where due to arrive on Tuesday the 2nd. Still waiting. Checked the Tracking number and item was in my City ready for delivery on Tuesday the 2nd, now the 7th and items are in a completely different state. Not happy at all

The dumbbell rack hasn’t been delivered, and I’ve already called and sent two emails, but received no reply. I called last week and was told it would be sent this week, yet I still haven’t heard anything. This is the worst service. I’ll never use this company again.

You sent the wrong product then didn't reply to any of my contacts efforts to rectify the problem. You have picked up the wrong product sent to me but I'm yet to see the correct product or even receive an expected timeline for fixing the stuff up.

I have not received my products yet, so this review email is a bit premature. I've contacted you in regards to the points I have accrued with my purchases so that I could make another, but I've received no reply nor have I received any communication about when my products will arrive, so at the moment my customer satisfaction is not very good.

Really disappointing service. My order wasn't dispatched until after the date I was supposed to receive it, which was 1 week after the order date, and then wasn't actually delivered until a other week after that. Gym Direct neither answered nor returned my calls to enquire about it.

The parcel arrived broken, the barbell bar is slightly damaged, the clamps are missing. I emailed to make inquiries, no response received. I only have plates and a bar, unable to use it! The worst online shopping experience ever!

After a conversation i asked for the weights to be delivered to my home but they still sent them to my work. They also only deliver 1x 12.5 kg dumbell not 2
