“A visit to Sunderland H. Samuel today and was served by a lovely lady call Tracey. Very helpful and friendly I bought a new necklace for my 91year old mother as she wanted to put her locket on a new chain .Have bought jewellery here before and would definitely recommend the staff are all lovely”

“I bought a present for nearly a £100 in London E20 1EP on 01/03/23 and the vendor give me a £25 voucher. I was extremely happy and grateful, I ask him, how I use the voucher and he said I have to spend a minimum £75 to use it. I look further to treat my self, after a while I found something for me, I ask the same vendor to assist me when I went to pay, only then he read the small letter on the back of the voucher and the item have to be full price to use the voucher and most of the item at the moment are on 25%discount. I ask to speak to the manager to explain as to how the vendor told how to use the £25 discount and the manager send someone else to speak to me in stead. She only apologise about the small print and nothing she could do about it. I feel extremely miss guided and bad about it, I’m elderly and disabled. To me it was extremely bad customer services and I was totally ignored as to how I was advise by the vendor in regards of the £25 voucher went he give it to me.”

“You might like to up date your website I phoned the hastings branch to get my ears pierced only to be told by a rude man dont do that anymore and just put the phone down I think he was lacking in customers service”

“I really love our Samuels Jewellery Shop in St Austell… Always a pleasure to go into the spotlessly kept shop… Manager Michelle & her assistant Emma always greet customers with a lovely smile,service perfect & nothing is too much trouble to help me with decisions as I can be never sure on choice but always leave the shop feeling very happy…I also take any jewellery for repair & have never had reason to complain about the workmanship….. I know in life there are so many miserable people who are only happy complaining… Thank you for having two perfect staff in your St Austell branch, my husband & I wouldn’t go to any other store…”

“After attempting to order a bracelet. using evouchers in part payment, a mistake was made on the (hard to navigate checkout. I then attempted to us "virtual assistant" -----useless! Then on-line chat to cancel the order, and refund my Paypal.”

“Went into the Warrington store today to purchase some earrings and chose a pair that I really liked. The assistant that served me said she could not find a code listed to put the sale through on the till. I asked could the code be bypassed so I could buy them and was told no they would have to be taken off sale. No solution offered as to whether I could come back when the problem was resolved. Really bad customer service. Went elsewhere!”

“Was in my local h Samuel store in Foyleside in Derry and got a great deal on a citizen satellite wave watch! Was very well served and looked after by Erin the Salesperson and the watch had a big mark down! Delighted with purchase and service!”

“Bad experience ordered a watch for 21st I was waiting for an email to let me know that the watch was going to be delivered I never received an email went online chat they advised me that the watch was sold out send the money left the bank now I have to wait up to 1 week to receive money back they just apologised but never contacted me to let me know also bad customer service won't use them again !!”

“Horrendous customer service (shenaz) dx and H.Samuel have lost my package I have not received this upon waiting for a response after weeks they are refusing to refund me I supplied cctv footage of the supposedly time the delivery was delivered clearly no driver I have sent several picture of my door way they claim it doesn’t match well how would the image match as it’s not my door way complete carnage of a company”

“I recently visited the Strand St store Douglas Isle of Man and felt I must leave a review - The service from Lisa and David was second to none! They are extremely helpful friendly and professional and I was very impressed Some stores have lost customer service but Lisa and David provide a warm welcome with expertise Well done Lisa and David H Samuel are lucky to have you”

“Took watch in for new spring pin in metal strap,branch sent watch back to Seiko, waited for estimate, never came as branch had lost my details. When I called in to branch told it would be £85.00, had watch returned not repaired, went into local family jewellers who fitted a pin there and then for £3... Worked for H.Samuel in the seventies and we did this type of repair in-store, where has the customer service gone? Have always felt a loyalty to the store as used to work for company but with that blatant attempt to over charge,I will think again next time.”
