“I bought a pendant on necklace ,original price £499, down to £125 in sale in Ashton under Lyme branch. She asked did I want extended warranty which would cost quite a bit because based on £499, not price I paid. I declined. Bought on 20 June 2023 as 50th Anniversary present, my wife wore it for two weeks then said a link was broken. We took it back on 24th July and it was sent off to H Samuel suppliers for assessment. Those suppliers said that the chain was soundly made in their opinion so no free repair, it would cost £49 for one tiny link. There had been no rough handling of the necklace to snap it Shabby treatment by H Samuel which marred our Anniversary memories somewhat”

“Rhyl store is the best H Samuels And here why . The store staff knows their stuff. they are polite , respectful and help it every way to show off the item . I offer purchase items and always had a great experience . I am slow and look at a few things before choosing the item . I always have their guarantee which works well . Zoe the manger looks after the customers . Good prices a range of quality goods .”

“Scarborough Branch Natalie was very helpful, I had a problem with my watch as I had my battery replaced in a Scottish branch but after a short while the watch was no longer working. Natalie replaced my old Radley watch with another Radley watch as it became obvious it was not a problem with the new battery. Very pleased with the service, would recommend.”

“Avoid: I received HSamuel gift vowcher fChristmas 2022 and still have not been able to use it...every time I walk into the local store (3 x now) my heart sinks - many poor quality items, definite lack of knowledge from staff members. I ordered a chain online to pickup in store so that I could return it if needed - lucky I did as the chain was tiny, looked nothing like the image or size stated, and I had to challenge a staff member to refund back on that Gift card after they said they dont do that. The week before, in the same store, another staff member confired there was no guarantee on jewellery - I challenged that again then another staff member confirmed manufacturers guarantee etc. Draining experience, there seems to be no real 'quality' for the work nor the products.”

“Recently bought a watch from H.Samuels in there Buchanan Galleries Branch. It was a very pleasant visit. Staff very nice and helpful. Was served by Stephanie, and she was lovely. Very attentive. She ordered watch for me informed me informed me when it came in. I'm very pleased with watch. Stephanie adjusted strap.”

“Went into the Meadowhall branch today to look at wedding rings, Tasha was very very helpful nothing was too much trouble from trying rings to advise on band width and ringing to see if could get rings made with smaller width, only went to look but ordered rings before we left, lovely staff friendly and helpful recommend them to anyone”

“I was very impressed by the genuinely friendly and professional service from Richard, the Cambridge branch manager, when I bought a Citizen watch this week. I do appreciate that prices in the shops may vary, but he honoured the H S internet price immediately and really could not have do me a better job of instilling trust himself and in the company. It was an impressive performance and, as a previous customer, reassuring that your people are beyond expectations. Today, I popped in to request for an adjustment of the bracelet as I’d mistakenly asked for it to be too tight- my fault!- and Sam, your new assistant manager, could not have been more helpful and did it on the spot. I’d like to add that in many browsing visits your team were politely helpful without any pushiness. The negativity of some of your respondents does not match my experience, and I spent my working life dealing with customers. Many thanks, Neal”
