Do not use these people paid £900 for a ring for the diamond to fall out within 6 months , had to pay for repair as they said it wasn't a fault ....now 2 diamonds fell out ...and yet again not a fault a over a £300 charge ....there jewelery is a disgrace...il see you in the small claims court !

Ordered a watch online, only a few left after 3 phone calls to them just been advised that they are sold out of the watch I wanted. This was caused by a branch not sending me the watch, they had in stock at the time. Never would I buy online from them again.

My advice would be to never shop online with this retailer! Their customer service is horrendous, their response times are poor and if you do not receive an item they will not investigate properly and make you liable for good you have not received and charge you. I can honestly say I am shocked and this is one of the poorest customer experiences I have ever had and will never be shopping with H. Samuel again. Before Christmas I received one of two items, which I was very happy with the item I did receive. The items were being sent separately, but there was no tracking number with the item that was not received, so I thought with it being Christmas that there might be a delay, so gave it a few days. When nothing arrived I contacted them on the 22nd December and have constantly contacted the since this date stating the item had not been received at our property on the date they are stating. Throughout my contact I have had, each of my requests have been asking for them to look into it and investigation that the item was never received. My last response, which took three days was that the item had been delivered to the street I live on, but they cannot state which house it was delivered to, so that is as much as they can do and it is out of the investigation time and will still have to charge for the item!? I would like to know how the above works? I did not sign for the item or receive the goods to my home nor my did my neighbours take it for me, I was not responsible for sending the item, I have requested it is looked into after less than a week of the goods not being received, yet I am told my complaint of not receiving my goods cannot be taken any further? I am not sure how that all works and you make the customer liable? I would like it look into fully and either a replacement or a refund of the item not received, as a customer I do not feel this is too much to ask!

APPALLING PEOPLE. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I BOUGHT TWO 9 CARAT GOLD ITEMS, A NECKLACE AND A RING. ALL BROKE IN NEXT TO NO TIME. H SAMUEL WOULDN'T REPAIR THE NECKLACE FOR FREE (it cost me £59 to repair) SAYING IT IS ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE. COMPLETE FRAUDS. THE RING WAS EXCHANGED AND THEN THAT ONE, TOO, SPLIT AFTER A WEEK!!!!!! I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF A GOLD RING SPLITTING THROUGH< LET ALONE TWICE!!!

Ordered a watch on 17th Dec. Website and confirmation promised delivery pre Xmas. Item delivered on 29th. No updates from H Samuel and when discussing on their live chat, the operator was rude, dismissive and ended the chat without any resolution. Woeful service

Ordered ladies watch on the 17th December said will be delivered on 23rd or before . Received email today 22rd NOT IN STOCK ? How hard can it be for H Samuels to check stock levels when someone places a order, now gone to AMAZON paying extra for a guaranteed delivery before Christmas. Will definitely NOT use H SAMUELS again they clearly do not care about customers.

These guys use a terrible delivery service called DX, and also lie about when they will deliver. I ordered on the 16th and it said it would come on the 18th or earlier when i placed the order, didnt come on the 18th so i thought i will just wait until the 20th as i know its probably very hectic during Christmas so i gave them the benefit of the doubt. On the 20th I got an email saying that it was being delivered that day between 16:00 and 18:00. I tracked the van for a while and saw it was in my area about 2 mins away. I saw a man who i thought could be the driver get out his van look for 2 seconds on my street and then gave up in less than a min as my door number wasnt right in his face. I was pretty annoyed but let it go and called to reschedule only to be told by a robot that i wouldn't get it until the 22nd (bought this for my nephew who left on on the 21st). 22nd comes around i track it for the full two hour slot and when the van is 5 mins from me, up pops a message saying the driver failed to deliver as i wasn't home and left a reschedule card, no one knocked or rang my doorbell and i didnt get any "reschedule card" through my letter box. Called H samuel to get refund, waited twice for 15 mins on their call hold nightmare yet no one answered but they did when i waited for the option to complain about a delivered item funnily enough. Stay away from these guys.

Ordered earrings on behalf of my housebound father, for his gift to my mother. Chased yesterday. Was told they would be delivered before 24th December, despite the tracking saying they were still awaiting picking. Contacted them again today when there was no change in the status. My order has been “blocked”. “They are out of stock”. They waited for me to contact them! Went back online. Their website says they have 3 pairs in stock. They have simply walked away offering no assistance in finding an alternative. They have admitted that it can take several days for their website to be updated, so you cannot trust their website. I will never order from them again.

Terrible customer service. Ordered watch online as Christmas present 4 days ago, just been notified out of stock although it said in stock when ordered. Too late to order something else and cannot get to shops as I am housebound. Most disappointed and they won't be getting my custom in the future

i went in Victoria centre store to buy a whatch i mistakenly looked at the whatch straps thinking they were watches as they are displayed as such. i asked to buy a whatch and was asked what size i wanted . i said i thought all mens whaches were all one size. well she ranted on and on telling me to bring the whatch in demonstrating with force how to fit a strap. and repetedly asking did i understand. i reportedly said yes i did . i told her i just wanted to buy a whach. she still carried on as though i was stupid. finally she said. if want a whatch there in the window . and walked away. very rude customer service. i will never shop in there again. she is sort with medium length blonde hair .

What a load of trashy jewellery. Bought my daughter some gold earrings. Luckily I checked them before going home and found that one of them was really loose. I did return and got my money refunded, but that's not the point they should have been checked before I left the store instead of being stuck in a battered ripped box which I had to request a bag for and the assistant telling me fill in the survey so I get a gold star and you could win £100 errr no love, don't even want free money for your shops. Cheap tacky overpriced tack yukky

I bought a bracelet just before lockdown, it was too long so they shortened it by one pin. Because of lock down I didn’t wear it and stored it in its box. Then I went to put it on, and the pin fell out, so I returned it to shop, they said it wasn’t one of theirs, lucky for me I had the receipt, they then agreed to send it away to be repaired, it took 6 weeks, and they charged me £28. Never ever will I ever shop in samuels again. I should have known better, having previously bought my partner a bracelet, which was wrongly fixed, and wouldn’t connect to the padlock, because I bought this bracelet for a special occassion, I was reluctant to ask for a refund, so I took it to a REPUTABLE jeweller, who added a link to make it wearable. STAY AWAY FROM H SAMUELS, they are rubbish. The staff are not much better.

I bought a gold chain a few months ago. It now has broken on the clasp . When I went back they said I would have to pay for the repair of £51.00 .You expect a chain to last more than a few months. Totally dissapointed with their custom. Won't ever spend money there again. Discussed!

No acknowledgment of my presence when I entered and waited too long to be seen. I counted only one or two other customers so they were hardly busy. When I was noticed the surly sales assistant didn’t give me a greeting or a smile or anything. Not a good first impression and I’ve bought jewellery online from their website. Preferable really as the lady I encountered was offhand like it was too much effort to practise good customer service and she just couldn’t be bothered quite frankly. Rubbish customer care and just an unfriendly vibe - took my custom elsewhere to a different jewellers where they were really pleasant and helpful so they had my £200 customs, not H Samuels. I’ll never go there again.

H Samuel service is apalling, stay away! I have ordered a necklace the 31st of October as it was at a discount, therefore I bought an unrefundable gift card to pay for it. 5 days later I receive an email stating that the necklace is out of stock therefore they will be cancelling my order and refunding my money back (I had bought the unrefundable gift card for this necklace in specific, therefore I would be stuck with a gift card that I did not want). I went on their website to see that they still had the necklace in stock, just at more than double the price I had bought it! A week after the purchase and I'm still having to deal with H Samuel to solve this issue!, they have mentioned they would give me price match guarantee just that I need to repurchase the necklace at full price, which I did and now they are saying that I have to wait a week, until the item arrives, to get my money back (which is more than double of what I have paid for the necklace originally!). I absolutely do not recommend, will not be shopping here again.

So helpful and friendly staff and so prossional. I purchased 9ct gold chain which I ordered to collect from Nuneaton storeI went into today to purchase plus to take a further 20% off via e.mail. absolutely brilliant who done everything they could to help and delivered so my chain was evan cheaper than originally priced. Couldn't do enough for for you and so lovely girls that I felt I mattered which is unusual with todays standards. Walked in a customer and walked out that I had made friends plus a beautiful purchase of my 9ct gold chain. Thank you so much Sarah. Vicki. And Kirsty. I will be back soon for some more shopping

My husband bought me an expensive gold necklace Xmas 2019. Due to not going out over lock down I have hardly worn the necklace. A few weeks ago we were on holiday & I took the necklace with me only to notice that it was sort of fraying near the clasp. The necklace has always been stored flat in the original box it came in. I took back to Samuel's & to be honest the girls in the shop were not very friendly at all. Never smiled once. I was told I would have to pay for a repair which I refused so then was told it could be sent off to see if it was a manufacturers fault or wear & tear . For something that cost so much & has only been worn maybe half a dozen times only for an evening, it is definitely not wear & tear. It has been 4 weeks now & I have phoned the shop twice then someone rang me this week to say it is still being looked at. I have lots of jewellery & each piece is well looked after. I am expecting them to say I have to pay for repairs which u certainly won't be doing. For such a big jewellers I think their customer service is quite appalling. Will not shop here again
