It has to be said that when contacting Halfords Plymouth store by telephone to inquire about the features of a specific sat-nav they sell, they could not have been more helpful - but when I went on to place the order intending to pay by Debit Card on line and book a fitting date, this was blocked. The reason is that if you don`t have a mobile phone and can insert the number, you cannot place an order. When I retired, I got rid of my mobiles and have since used other forms of communication - but Halfords appear not to understand that not everyone is enslaved by such devises, the advice given, that if I wanted to place an order I would have to travel to their nearest store to pay for the sat-nat and then return at a later date to have it fitted. Asking if I could place the order pay over the phone was met with a No. This is an absurd policy that is entirely nonsensical and I fail so see any value in it, whether to their customers or their own business.

Hallford Newport-News_VA will never get my business they say $1000 over trade in its more like $3500 under what your trade is worth.

I have been trying to contact someone to hear my complaint. I've tried in writing and phone. I have a genuine complaint. My complaint went through manager at store was whitewashed. It is an utter disgrace the experience I have had and it is still going on. How do I speak to someone in authority who will deal with my complaint.

I went into Halfords in Cherry Avenue in Dover Kent as I had a nail in my rear passenger tyre. The tyre was dealt with extremely quickly. I'd like to thank Harry for the excellent customer service experience. Very much appreciated.

Advance middle drawer tool chest. Bought this to compliment my Halford professional chest, build quality not anywhere near as good at previous model, sharp edges, drawers not as smooth and catches not so good. Overall it's poor quality for £125

Was excited about getting my new personalised number plates. Went to the kirkstall store in Leeds. The front plate went on no problem but the rear one not so easy. First it was put on with lower screw holes showing. I said that I did.nt want it like that. I was told it would have to be stuck on instead, no problem, but then it was stuck on off centre so I said it looked odd and at that point I felt like I was been awkward !!! Why would I pay for new number plates of they are going to look silly ? The plate was then taken off and re stuck over the old sticky bits..needless to say it is already lifting but I won't be going back to that store !!!

Had the required items but trying to collect them was a whole new ball game,was not content with ID or reciept ,wanted the ins and out of a ducks a!!!! Items all spread out over the floor didn't know who's was what. Obviously cannot function when common sense is req'd Orpington.

I purchase a 'Dashcam' from Halfords Yeovil a couple of months ago, and had it fitted by them, in my nearly new Vauxhall Mocca X. Everyone involved at the Yeovil depot were 'first class', and extremely helpful, (especially, the engineer who carried out the work), it was completed very quickly, (and cleanly), without any damage to the vehicle, (indeed, it was so good, it could have been 'factory fitted'. We were very pleased with the product, except my 'wife and I' (being not in the first 'bloom' of youth), were confused about some of the technology, a further visit quickly 'ironed out' our problems, as the engineer quickly, and simply explained 'everything' to us, so 'First Prize' Halfords Yeovil....So why then, have I only 'rated' them 3 stars, well, it was nothing to do with the Yeovil Branch, (who as you can read, really deserve 10 stars. I suppose that really, it's probably my own fault, as thought I rarely, (or almost never) take credit, this time, (having recently purchasing the 'new car'), I decided to take the offer of 12 interest 'free' payments, and this is where it 'all went wrong', as after Klana sent me a confirmation of my direct debit agreement, within weeks demanded another payment, I then tried to contact Klarna U.K. (Don't bother !!!), as after reception put me through to finance, I spent over an hour 'waiting' only then to be told, it was the 'wrong extension', I then received another demand from Klarna, (plus a 'fine'for 'late payment') well, as I told them, ''It's a Direct Debit for God's sake' 'you' determine when the payments 'taken'....I then contacted them 'online', no luck there either, so in 'disgust', I 'paid the off', and cancelled my Direct Debit....So Halfords Yeovil 10 start....Halfords financial Director, (Or whoever decided to use Klarna)....Minus 500...SO, WHATEVER YOU DO, 'DON'T TAKE HALFORDS 'CREDIT'....

Having rung three Halfords branches for cycle information not one of them answered the call, so there is no chance of them now making a sell to me.

I came in at 9am this morning to have 2 cameras put in my car. Was told 2 hours wait and I was still there at 12.15 as the elderly man fitted them. no offer of refreshments. Not amused with your service at all. And it didn’t come cheap. Will not be coming back!

They had in stock what I wanted but the shop seemed to be understaffed and finding a member of staff to answer a query was a bit frustrating.

Halfords delivery option stated delivery will be on or before saturday 22nd September. After order had been accepted I received a message saying delivery will be on the monday (24th September). The delivery was by DPD. I received a message from DPD requesting that I notify them of a safe place to leave the package if I'm not going to be in. I said to leave the package in the front porch if i don't Answer the door and that i'd leave the door unlocked for them. The DPD driver came but did not leave the package. I had to contact them for redelivery. The redelivery came on Tuesday 25th September, it was a different driver and this time they left the package in the front porch. So to summarise, Halfords told me I would receive my goods on or before Saturday 22nd September. I in fact, received them on Tuesday 25th September.

Great for fitting car seats but we were let down recently after purchasing a bike for my son's birthday and they had not prepared it for collection by building.

The whole experience was time consuming and frustrating as I couldn't easily identify what I needed. I spent many minutes reading through a list of different makes and models trying to find the components I needed. In the end I had to ask a salesperson. Who didn't know either. He then had to go outside and measure the component on my car before making a recommendation. The components were quite expensive compared to what I could find on line.

Halfords didn't make me they ripped me of paid for diagnostic on my car paid £50 for no report and no print out of report if you are going for a diagnostic STOP stand outside and tears the £50 up you won't get no joy but at least you haven't given it to them.
