Literally the WORST company I have EVER EXPERIENCED!!! LOST my items, packed trash (still charged me for it) damaged items, and to top it off, the worst customer service you can imagine. They have given me the run-around for over 6 months and still refuse to refund me. Do yourself a favor and save your items, stress and money and NEVER book with Handled or anything affiliated with this joke of a company.

Terrible job. Missing items, broken items, bad customer service response. Dorm move due to Covid-19. The items were returned back to the dorm, but furniture was broken, almost all dishes were broken and none of the personal care items were packed. Due to Covid restrictions it took a while to get back on campus. By that time handled claimed that we missed our window to complain. Cannot recommend this company for any move.

Handled moved all of my personal belongings out of my dorm room when my university closed due to COVID (closed over spring break; I only had a carry-on suitcase with me). Now am missing several items. Did not deliver to my off-campus residence when they said they would, and when I called repeatedly ~2 weeks later than the "guaranteed" delivery time frame, would not give me an estimate of when my things would arrive. My father all but threatened to sue the company after they refused to allow me to view my contract--at this point, they pulled my stuff from the storage warehouse. I had to rent a UHaul to drive over 30 minutes away from my university to pick up my belongings. Would not recommend!

“Worst moving experience. Damage to various items worth $1,000s (couch, dresser, tables, custom frames, custom art, electronics)—scratches, tears, dents, stains, and “sweat mud” (a combination of sweat and dirt) on numerous items. Asked for extra care with white wood furniture—3/4 pieces damaged (stained, scratched, dented). When I asked the crew why they didn't wrap anything, crew member claimed Handled did not inform them of what equipment they would need. Crew did not wear PPE. Used a battery as a door prop, causing battery acid to drip down the door. Additionally, over $200 worth of tools are missing.”

This was the worst move experience ever. Handled did not prepare their contractors for the job. The job was left incomplete and Tyler Schippers told us he was unable to assist us in finishing our move. We had to take matters into our own hands.

Handled hired a local third party moving company but never told them it was a full pack and move. The movers didn’t have any packing supplies. I had called handled three times to make sure that it was a full pack and move. It took the movers 8 hours to pack and they didn’t get done until 9pm that night. The movers were great but I was extremely upset that handled didn’t inform them what the services were or even my contact information. I will never use them again.

Handled is the worst company I’ve ever worked with. All my stuff broken, five boxes missing, 1000s of $ of missing items, 1000s of $ of damage. They refuse to find my missing boxes and blame me for their failures. I’m pretty sure the movers either stole or threw away anything worth anything. ONe box was filled with stale tortilla chips. All the boxes they used were broken and opened when they came to my home and this wasn’t because of fedex, it’s Bc they used cheap tape, didn’t use enough tape, and used weak boxes. Delivery was nearly two weeks late. Remember that this is another tragedy and pain added to my life during a PANDEMIC. Never use this company. If u think I am an exceptionally bad review or an anecdote, think again. They were contracted by duke university to work with I’m sure it is 100s of students and we all HATE handled.

This company should be avoided at all costs. They moved Duke student dorms out, and many of my items were NOT returned to me and went suspiciously missing - most notably, jewelry. Other items were damaged (microwave, lamp). In another Duke student's case, over $1000 of cash went missing from their wallet (their wallet was returned empty). Furthermore, their customer service has been unhelpful for almost 1 month, either being unresponsive to emails or redirecting me without admitting their wrongdoing. I would rate them 0 stars if I could.

Items were missing from my shipment and I also got a ton of items that I didn’t ask for and didn’t want. Customer service didn’t do anything to help and wouldn’t answer my questions with real answers. It took way too long to get email responses, had to wait 2 weeks to get 1 response. Overall horrible experience.

What seemed cut and dry really wasn’t. I read some of the reviews and should have took notice and passed on booking. I booked and needed to add a stop. I called to notify handles about the additional stop. I want asked the address although I offered to give the address of the additional stop. The next day I got a call from the same young lady saying yes she does need to add the address to the move. I got an email that I would hear from my concierge. I had to call my concierge. I uploaded pictures and wanted to know if they were received. My concierge was very nonchalant about my pictures and my second stop. I asked if we needed to discuss the move and the pictures. I explained what large items I paul be moving to each stop. I also asked if the movers could call when they are on their way. They didn’t call. They arrived and said they didn’t have a large enough truck for my two stops and they could only move my items to one location. I had to find another moving company in the spur of the moment to move my items to the second location. I had two moving companies at my house at one time. It was a mad house. Handled told me that my price would remain the same even though they botched my move up. They have also billed me twice. I hope it doesn’t take forever to get my money refunded. The movers did the best they could with what they had. The situation was really uncoordinated. They weren't prepared for the entire move which made it difficult to coordinate the move properly. They could also have been a bit more professional. They worked hard and did a good job overall. The bumps in the road were not their fault. It was also made know to me that they didn’t plan on working that day and they had to call in staff to do my job. So they didn’t have a large enough truck and they didn’t have people to do the job. They also had to call in two more people to help with the move.

This is the worst moving company that I have ever experienced. They shipped my things from my dorm at Duke because of COVID and lost a really important large stuffed animal, my vacuum, broke several picture frames, and cups that I bought from a trip abroad. Their customer service was unapologetic about the loss of my belongings. After all of this, they had the audacity to overcharge me almost 2x as much as was quoted for the service. I would give 0 stars and would never ever ever recommend using any of their services.

The movers came and didn’t want to move our gym equipment and refused to move it without more movers so they sat in their truck for over an hour complaining (we could hear them from inside). They started moving our items once a few more people came but continued to complain throughout the whole time and it was very uncomfortable. The move overall was supposed to take less than 4 hours and took over 8 hours to complete.
