“The movers Handled hired were wonderful and it was the easiest move I’ve had, but I’d rather have just been put in touch with said movers directly than had to play telephone through Handled. Once they arrived at my place and I could communicate directly with them everything was a breeze.”
“I would say that handled did a good job of finding movers and getting them to me. The movers did a fabulous job. However there was an extreme lack of communication from handled. I did not receive information on how I should make my inventory and I received no contact from my move manager, the movers just showed up. Which ended up being fine. But I don’t feel I got the Handled experience I signed up for.”
“The 2 person crew that was sent to pack & moved realize upon arrival they were understaffed & under equipment - needing to call in additional labor & another truck.
The packing team overfilled (weight wise) over 75% of the boxes. These over weight boxes has caused extreme difficulties during the unpacking stage due to me and my wife have physical handicaps.
After spending $1,200 dollars + tipping 5 laborers. I really expected a much more user friendly service.

“They promised 5 guys and only sent 3. This meant that our stuff wasn't packed up until 2PM even though the guys showed up at 9. We ended up feeling bad for them and telling them to go ahead and move it and start unpacking, but that left us with quite a bit of smaller items that needed to be moved (they only got to maybe 80%), plus we weren't done that day until almost 7.
Busted the TV mount as it came off the wall. Minor damage here and there to some of the items. Overall the care taken for our stuff was fine enough but disappointed they didn't provide enough manpower. Felt really bad for the 3 guys that got stuck with the job.”
“The "photographic inventory" was a pain that I was unable to complete. The app needs some work. The premise is interesting, but this was the worst move yet. The movers damaged my furniture, made it clear that the things that didn't fit on the truck were my problem, and, oh yeah, actually took time to steal the change from a bank I'd stashed in a bureau. Overall, I wish I'd shopped around a bit.”
