Not only did I get an individual based in the US-Landon was incredible. He understands customer service. He did everything, including researching, to help find an answer for me.

“If you need to return something they make it difficult and time consuming. I bought a hand spray pump for a birthday gift. Without asking any questions they referred me to a website for returns telling for the safety of their store they needed my email address to process an RMA. Save time and aggravation and buy somewhere else. I would give this customer service a negative 5 if I could”
“Bought a belt sander Thursday afternoon last week and wanted to place the order before the Easter holiday weekend. On Friday I went back onto the site to look at the belt sander once again and to read about all the features and look more closely at it and I see that they were offering a 15% coupon no exemptions through the holiday weekend. I called customer service explain to them and they told me they would not be able to help me that I would have to wait for the item to be shipped I would have to refuse it or take it back to the store for my refund, and just order another one at the sale price. Monday morning I now come on to the website to see what is going on with my order and I see that it's still processing they haven't even processed the order yet, but they tell me that they can't apply the 15% coupon, and they're not able to help me. Well this is the first and last time that I buy anything from Harbor freight. Be warned, they are of no help to their customers.”

“I am an Insider Member @ Harbor Freight. YES... It is worth the small fee! If you are not member, you need to read the fine print first before you go! (No reason for a bad review because you can't read the coupon properly.) I love the Harbor Freight in Portsmouth, NH. The staff there are very nice and so helpful on all my numerous trips there! I purchased two more US General Chests for gifts for students at Pathfinder Reg. Voc. H.S. today and I really wanted a "blue chest." Already bought a green one so I figured I would take a Red one...all of a sudden I hear them from out back saying "We found a blue one, it's the only one left!" I bought them both and was thrilled. Hoping to get the bottoms to these chests for the students, but I'm a sale shopper! So as soon as I see a good one, I'll be on it! Thanks to everyone at this store today for going above and beyond, especially getting them in my Subaru....barely! You hire the nicest people ever!”
“Went to harbor freight for my first time I got a flyer and a mail and they were having some sales I went and bought an item that was on sale and took it up to the counter with a few other pieces of merchandise and they rang it up and it came up wrong I explained to the lady that that was on sale she looked it up and said oh yes it is on sale but you have to be a member for $29 to get the sale price there was nothing the flyers that said I had to be a member or on the sticker on the shelf what a lousy lousy deal won't go there again”
“Walk into Harbor freight looking for a Roll cab toolbox. Come to find out they don’t stock them you have to order them. OK place the order on 1/17/24 And was given and unreasonable the delivery time of 3/3/24 but said hey, I want it I’ll order it and wait that date came and went here. It is 3/26/24 no email the rep at the store said “ there’s nothing we can do about it it’s third-party” - wow great customer service now I know why you’re stocking shelves”

Bought a many THOUSANDS of DOLLARS ICON TOOL CHEST AND CABINETS - and was told it would be assembled, and delivery would put it where we wanted it. It took 5 MONTHS to get it and the delivery people dropped off 10 boxes at least and left. DO NOT BUY THE ICON TOOL CHESTS AND SHELVES UNLESS YOU PLAN ON SPENDING A MONTH SETTING IT UP!”

“Bought battery charger and it did not even come on, when I returned it clerk asked if it was used ind I said I tryed but it wouldn’t come on. I was charged $8 for returning it, I could see if someone brings back something that works and then returns it maybe they used it first, but when something is defective I don’t thing there should be restocking fee it isn’t going to be restocked it’s going to be returned to manufacturer and I bet if they charged you a restocking fee you wouldn’t be buying from them”
“Well easy, said they close at 8, and the doors were locked at 750. Why would that be? For any retailer desiring to earn trust and appreciation from their customers, me being a a club member, I expect them to be open until they are closed per their operating hours. I need a jump pack as my other vehicle would not start and had no time to go the following morning, to have them close early is truly a sad display of leadership within a corporation.
