The install was fine as they are contracted however the franchise owner didn't take responsibility for a mistake that shouldn't have happened as my neighbour had the same problem and it was put back onto me and I ended up paying extra! No communication after telling his installer he would contact me! Left 3 little stairs with old carpet when it was part of the lounge carpet that was being replaced then lied about my neighbour's install!

I am glad that the business owner paid for the installation of the extra stairs at his expense and also covered half the cost of the extra carpet to meet your expectations. A good outcome in the end. It was great communication and good resposne at the begining when we trying to get the quote. Once we agreed the 50% deposit, that where things turns sour. Harrisons doesnt want to confirm or anything. No communication, no repsonse to email for 2 days. But the installation(incomplete,maybe) was done as per agreement. There were only 2 screws put on the holder where it requires 4/5. Ref Photo attached. The package came with lots of screws and tracks, but only half been done. The technician took rest of them with him to may be throw it away. That should atleast been given to me, so I might have done the DIY. We got the invoice on the sameday to pay for the rest of the 50%, which is OK. Because, that is part of the agreement. Still I havent recived Flybuys yet. Hopefully get it soon. Overall, I have the working curtains and blinds, installed. But I do not have the confidence that it has been done properly. I would never do it with this people again.

Carpet installation was fine but would not fully recommend our Whanganui consultant. She only showed us 3 carpet colour options and did not have much contact at all throughout the entire experience except the day before installation, but then asked us to investigate when payment hadn't been made a few days after. Felt a bit rude to be honest. Wish I'd seen more colour options and got to actually feel the different underlays options but wasn't offered any of that. Not hugely impressed. -

Job took a while as build slow - went through two installers - we were told they both left industry - finished floor off ourselves with help from builder - product marks quite easily

I made an appointment for a measure and quote. A few days before the appointment I received a confirmation text. On the day noone showed up. I rang the number I received in the text and the lady said that she can see the appointment in her system and that the only thing she can do is patch me through to the salesperson coming out to see me. She did that but he didn't answer so I left a message for them to call me. I never heard back.

Carpet installers left a mess outside the house with dirt from the removed underlay, damaged walls and door frames moving the furniture. Installation had bad finishing with visible carpet joining lines in several places. Had to ask them to redo in one of the places but not all because furniture was already back in place and hard to remove again. Although they were prompt to fix what I asked, the inconvenient of not having things well done the first time was not worth it.

Product is fine but installer left without checking if install was correct. I suspect this was because they removed the cablling underneath then laid the carpet leaving me to pull it up, reinstall cablng and modify and re-lay carpet. This was despite specific instructions to lay product over cables. Follow up with sales team resulted in a 'it was a miscommunication' but no offer to remedy the issue.

Our wool carpet, three years old, is horrendous. Constantly snagging (even in places with no foot traffic) and that was after two solid years of shedding full on tumbleweeds of wool. So disappointed and will never buy from Harrisons again. Feel like we were sold a defective product, to be honest. Wish we'd bought from Devon Patterson like we usually do. What a waste of money.

They looked great on their website, but when they came to our home, they didn't have what we wanted and instead offered something else, which was very expensive and in the end didn't look as we expected.

We had roman blinds installed in 4 rooms in our house, 7 blinds in total. Of those 7 blinds, 3 had been measured incorrectly and (although were ultimately fixed - with a lot of reluctance from the woman we were dealing with) ended up meaning that the whole process took more than two times as long as it should have. Of the 4 other blinds, we had issues with the cords and loops with 2 of them. Again, someone eventually came to sort that out but all in all, it was an extremely frustrating process and we were disappointed with the quality of the result for a fairly sizeable bill. Would not recommend and would not use again.

Promised much but poor delivery and service . Took our carpet when told not to and rendered it useless by cutting it in half. An hour late so I got in trouble with work. Not a word of apology at all. In fact the general impression that the tradesman only wanted to talk to our make boarder even though I was in the house to answer questions! Horrible clicking floor that eventually got sorted but not after we were made to feel stupid. Never use Harrison’s again. Interesting that I’ve met others that feel the same

Feel dissatisfied with the service provided when instructions for vinyl installation was not followed correctly & assume i may have overpaid what was actually done , when carpet was cheaper than the quoted vinyl

We ordered and paid half the price of the carpet in June under the understanding that our carpet was only this special price for the month of June 2021. We also were told it would be laid in the first or second week of Aug 2021. It was finally laid on the 3 Nov 2021. The two carpet layers did a great job and after cleaning up took the surplus carpet away saying that we should get the mats we ordered within a week. The next day (4 Nov) we received a email asking for the rest of the payment by the 5 Nov which we paid. On the 16 Nov (almost 2 weeks later) we were informed that you could not supply the right size mats that we had paid extra for!!!!! On the 17 Nov you did email that “We will remedy this” It is now the 28 Nov (almost 4 weeks later) and we still cannot “sit back and enjoy” as we are still awaiting the mats. How do you think YOU did?????

Actual product great, no complaints there. Customer service and installation of flooring was very poor. Dealt with a carpet and Flooring Franchise owner, who needs to work on her customer service. Especially when problems arise. The floor layer was a very poor tradesman as evidenced by the photos. Tried to talk to franchise owner about how unsatisfied we were and she threatened us with legal action. Paid the account in the end as could not deal with the stress of the whole ordeal. Will not be recommending Harrison's, That particular branch anyway. Sorry to say.

Great service when doing the quote however No follow up care after a botched install caused by the company. No compensation for the stress caused. The carpet was great and we love the product, maybe just need a bit more in the customer service department

Nice products. Customer care somewhat hit and miss. Not very responsive and defensive rather than constructive when questioned. Would try elsewhere next time.
