Don't buy anything from these crooked C---ts; they are bent & so are the people who do inspections for them !

Long story short.... 6 months and a 1000 phone calls on from delivery I still hadn’t received the cushions to my sofa. I was repeatedly fobbed off with additional ‘3 day SLAs’. Eventually, I was told they no longer stocked them as the furniture had been discontinued. I asked to return the sofa where I was passed from one person to another and actually lied to on multiple occasions. Ended up having to take them to an ombudsman. The horror story was actually so much worst but I cbb to type it all out AGAIN. Furniture quality is also rubbish. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I wish I had read their reviews beforehand.

Harveys furniture store-Mersey Retail Speke,Liverpool. Purchased two leather sofa 1 week ago. Within 2 hours,leather look rippled . Reported it to shop assistant who told me to go and ring customer service centre . Homeserve have been to inspect sofa and report "Pooling"of leather happens alot in 3 seater fully electric sofas,so he can't do anything about it. At no time was this known "pooling" disclosed by the sales assistant nor any disclaimer on the produce ...DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS-THEY TAKE FULL PAYMENT THEN CUSTOMER SERVICE IS APPALLING!!!

Long story short; went into store to order 2 sofas and a table, was told sofas and table was in stock and can be a week for delivery. Ordered in October, week later told to call and book. Phoned up, not in stock till December 17th! Delivery came, missing the 3 seater and also the table that was delivered is broken. Our first Xmas in our home ruined. Had both sides of immediate family coming over Xmas and Boxing Day for dinner. No table. Got rebooked without my permission said I was at work, tried to charge me for moving this. No reply’s to my emails, lots of chasing on my half, a lot of “I promise I will email you” (lies never got one email back) and a lot of stress later got offered £50 for the 3 months of hassle for us. That didn’t even cover the £69 I paid for delivery. And I have to also wait for a call for them to send this to my banks. Honestly such a joke of a company not at all happy with the service or the “compensation” ruined our first home experience and our Christmas and new year. But hey ho they won’t bother trying to make it better they simply don’t care about their customers. So please save yourself the time and your sanity and don’t shop at Harvey’s.

I ordered 3 lamp tables and a coffee table in November, I was informed that order had been cancelled by the courier, I rang Harvey's who informed me this was not the case. Since then I have been emailing and phoning hanging on the phone for an hour at a time. Yesterday I spoke to a very rude man at customer services who told me that the courier had damaged the coffee table but the lamp tables were ready for delivery. He said they would ring me to let me know when the coffee table would be ready for delivery. I received a call today to inform me it will be 4 weeks. I emailed asking for delivery of the lamp tables as it was no fault of mine that the coffee table was damaged. I received an email back stating that the supplier nor Harvey's hold stock of these items, I emailed back stating I was told that the lamp tables were ready for delivery but just keep getting the same reply that they do not hold stock. I do not believe that the lamp tables are ready for delivery as I received a phone call from the supplier asking if I wanted the order as Harvey's had made such a mess of it they didn't know what was happening.

The leather started to stretch within 3 days I’ve been fighting to get my money back for 9 months now and customer services are very rude and give you hell they keep saying your not getting your money back

I ordered a sofa bed on the 10th Sept i knew there would be a delay re the material but now 4 months down the line no sign of it they have no idea where it is!!!Should have been delivered 17th Dec they turned up with a sofa!!!since then all calls have been a waste of time we had to cancel visitors.What a disgraceful company i even sent a recorded letter which i know they had because i tracked it,no reply.WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN WILL NOW GO TO NATIONAL NEWSPAPERS

Harveys have delayed our delivery date. When I asked why the customer service person who sounded half a sleep and uninterested said she didn't know, maybe just because of a delay in shipping, no apology. They have limited delivery dates available and cannot commit to a time slot until the delivery day, and charge £10 extra (from the £70 already paid for delivery) to delivery on a Saturday. When asked if they could wave the £10 cost due to the delay in delivery and lack of available dates, they said they are unable to do so. Not impressed with Harveys lack of customer service

Absolutely disgusting sofa falling to bits paid over £1000.00 and complete waste of money, Harveys dont care even though we took out the warranty say thst we need to £80 to have it assessed. AVOID HARVEYS!!!!!

Harvey’s furniture should be avoided. I purchased a sofa and chair just over a year ago I paid cash and now find the sofa and chair so uncomfortable as the leather as stretched and crinkled. A technician came to look and said he could see that the leather had stretched and the cushion felt as though it had separated. He advised me that he thought Harvey’s would not do anything about it and probably would not get back to me. How right he was........no customer service only rudeness. I am now left with a very uncomfortable sofa and chair after paying a considerable amount of money for rubbish. I will never go into a Harvey’s store again and will advise my family and friends never to waste their money on inferior goods. BEWARE once they have your money they do not care.

Ordered and paid for a Sofa and Coffee tables upfront. A very big mistake I made. Please, never do this with Harveys. Once they have your money customer service don't care about you at all. They changed the product availability and I have to pay extra £450. Ten weeks after, I have not received a delivery update. Each call to the customer centre takes over two hours to get picked up and they don't even have visibility of the delivery schedule. Big regret to patronize such a company as they outsource the production and has no control over the quality or delivery

Worst customer service you will ever receive. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM HARVEYS.. Sofa is 15 weeks late and they dont even care or try to help just lie and fob you off... Disgrace of a company...

Ordered and paid for a sofa upfront. Big mistake never do this with harveys. Once they have your money customer service don't care about you at all. Our sofa needs a power supply for the electric recliner but was not with the order. 3months later and many visits to the store and multiple emails later and still no closer. Poor company stay well clear

Let down on delivery after waiting 1 hour on phone I was told Harvey’s do not do express delivery as I was promised and is on my invoice and is postered all over store and on there website ,that they would try and source my suite to give them 7days so once again I am on phone trying to get some answers never ever again will I shop in Harvey’s

Id give 0 if I could, absolute shambles of a company, 4 weeks late with the order still no idea where it is.. we was told 8 weeks max its now 12 weeks and counting. Ive spent 3 hours plus on the phone to the warehouse team and customer services in the last 7 days and nobody is bothered or offers any sort of help its just wait and see attitude... Nobody will put a manager on and they are very rude. AVOID this company, terrible terrible experience. My worst to date.

This is the worst of the main furniture retailers and my advice is to stay away. The tactics used to sell products is misleading on price promises, making it difficult to claim discounts. Delivery staff really don’t care and when I took delivery of a sofa recently, my wooden floor was damaged but as the delivery men just said it wasn’t them, Harveys refused to pay to repair the floor, costing me over £300. This is just not right and I have heard of similar cases with Harveys.

We have at last today 22/11 received our delivery today of a Versano sofa and matching footstool ordered in July. One delivery got cancelled at the last minute last week, not good. Now we have the goods however the foot stall has a Knick in the leather, on the top, right in the middle! Also one of the headrests has an indentation in it. Whether that will resolve in time who knows, depends how long something has been pressing into it. I have rung the store, they were not interested. I have rung your phone number to find I was in queue position 12! Either you are very short staffed or you have a lot of complaints. Funny how your before sales number allows you to go straight through but your after sales takes 2 hours of waiting in a queue!

DO NOT BUY FROM HARVEYS: I'm very disappointed with a large leather sofa unit and two seater sofa purchased from their Sorento range. As soon as the sofas were delivered we thought they weren't as comfy as the ones we sat on in the showroom. Within days the leather had stretched and the arms didn't have enough padding so you can feel the wood. Now here's the tricky point, because we wanted to go into the showroom and look at the sofas we sat on and purchased based on their look and comfort, we had just gone over the 30 days cusomer rights act by 2 days. So we had no option to agree to Harvey's sending out a technician to inspect the sofas. His only finding in the report was the arm needed padding as he agreed the wood had come through. Not wanting to agree to a repair, we thought it would be reasonable to expect Harvey's to replace the inferior sofas as they are not the quality we had seen in the showroom. So they said they'd send out another technician and this technician surprisingly found no faults, strange 2 different findings. So we comissioned our own independent technician, his findings are surprisingly different So I've just rang Harvey's Customers Services to discuss the issues, firstly he said their reports showed no manufacturing issues so the case was closed. I pointed out that that cannot be true as the first report highlighted the lack of padding on the arm, he then reread the report and said, oh sorry I made a mistake. I then told the advisor that I had called to inform Harvey's we have our own report highlighting issues, his response, we cannot accept your report as we only deal with our own company's associated technicians. Strange that eh. At this point he refused to pass my call onto a senior person or manager and shouted at me constantly repeating himself to the point I couldn't no longer speak to him as he was making me feel very anxious, so I passed the call onto my husband. If anyone at Harvey's wishes to listen to this call it was on 06/11/19 at 12:06. I have the advisors name, which I feel would be unfair to name on here.
