have had NHS hearing aids for over 10 years but started to have problems when they went back to ear moulds , big advantage -they are free . H H are smaller & work well but I couldn`t recommend them as they are so expensive

Start off well but when l telephoned back on Monday to say the bank could not help l got big long speech l am 67 and disabled l do not have to put up with that thank you Hughie Hannay

I cannot give a true review at the moment as I am waiting on the aids to arrive on the thirteenth of May so I do not know what the outcome will be.

The locum who did my check 6 months ago did not reset screech and also more tellingly did not tell me that i only had 4 months before my 30% update saving from hidden hearing expired! David initially said i could have the 30% but then said no. He changed his mind a few hours later when i indicated that i had contacted oticon and had gone on google looking for a better price.

I have no quibble with the recent assessment, fitted in for my convenience at 08.30 hrs. The air and bone conduction tests were carried out appropriately. I was less enthusiastic to be advised that my hearing aids are now obsolete and then subject to a gentle sales pitch to encourage me to spend from £3,000 to £5,200 on upgrading to the last model which is 'just out' and may well incorporate features which I neither need nor want when my current hearing aids are doing fine. I had been asked for a copy of the audiometry by a Consultant ENT Surgeon whom I was shortly to see and thereby ran into problems. The copy could not be printed out and handed to me - that was against company procedures! I was assured that an e-mail would be sent immediately, a Thursday morning, and the copy would be forwarded via the compliance officer which would reach me by the week-end or at least Monday. It had not arrived, nor clearly was even in the post by Monday afternoon when I phoned the head office. Having explained the position to a member of the Customer service staff, the request overcame the hurdles and once my e-mailed consent for its transmission (medical information is not normally sent by e-mail) had been received, the requested result was e-mailed to me before I left for my appointment on the Tuesday afternoon.

The procedure was carried out in a very professional manner, the hearing aids where only nominally better than my existing aids . At a costing of £5000.00 it was not sensible to proceed further . Thank you for the opportunity to test your product. Your faithfully Dennis Hickman

I think I am hearing a little better since Victoria visited me, but it is not very good in a social situation where the sssss sounds are exaggerated and rather drown out lower frequency noises which makes picking up conversation difficult.

Thorough re-test of hearing, all explained well. Device serviced. Asked for information on getting a remote control/connecting aids to TV Oticon box. Advice given but no follow up, also made further visit to the office and no follow-up. Sorted problem myself on basis of advice given, so only a minor matter.

Patient was suffering from dementia and fitter had no training how to deal with him. She did her best but it was difficult for her.

Not happy with my appointment as he didn’t even check me and all he wanted to do was telling me to get new hearing aid Not happy at all Please can you recommend somewhere else where I can go Thanks

Apart from having problems in finding the best fit for the aids with moulds, requiring many visits to Dundee, the hearing aids have been fine until recently. Remote control has not been working consistently. The staff at HH have been very helpful in sorting out the problems.
