“The positioning of a keyboard using the letter H to the centre of the body is incorrect. I depends on the use of the keyboard. If like me you use the number key pad excessively then it should be positioned further to the right.”

“The process was easy enough to follow. I do however get frustrated with this type of training which asks people to learn things which are irrelevant to their particular job role. It is irrelevant to me as a teacher what a social worker would do in response to a certain set of circumstances, or what the technical name for a specific process is unless it is something that I specifically will be involved with. As a teacher, it is critical that I understand the elements which i will be involved with in detail, but it's not necessary for me to know how a social worker does their job. I know that a doctor would treat someone who is ill, but I don't need to know what regulations they would abide by. It would make sense to focus the testing on what individual staff members NEED to know to complete their jobs and protect the children effectively.”

Hello Andy, thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a detailed review and feedback. This is really helpful for us and we really value your opinion. With the Advanced Safeguarding Children course, we of course have to understand that people in all sort of different job roles will be doing this course, and some people in certain job roles do like to know how other roles work just in case they ever interlink or they potentially change job roles themselves. This allows us to cover all aspects of Safeguarding without someone having to purchase multiple courses should they wish to train in a different profession. However, I do completely understand how it would benefit that the training be more tailored to a certain role and I will certainly pass this feedback on to the relevant department to see if it’s something that we can do for the future. “Clear and concise points for different situations. Have completed a practical course before so this acted as a refresher. The videos did not all work so had to skip them. Liked that you could speed up the speech.”

“Good course. My only criticism is about one of the questions on the final assessment. The question asked what stomach cramps, bloating and diarrhoea are symptoms of. These symptoms are pretty much interchangeable for coeliac disease and food intolerance and therefore easy to pick the wrong answer. It may be appropriate to review this particular question to make it a less ambiguous answer.”
