Bought a nice coastal paint by numbers set only a fiver. Don't bother. Colours of sky all wrong; more of a turquoise than blue indicated. Difficult to read the numbers as they are quite faint - you would need a magnifying glass for half of it. Also the paint brush poor quality. They should pay me to complete it!

You know you will generally pay over the odds at Hobbycraft, and stock selection has gone downhill in 2020. That aside, packaging for delivery is not suitable to protect your purchases, meaning you get dented paperand card products. Ordered online only because of covid restrictions making trips to a shop harder for me. I would not under normal circumstances use this as it is a waste of money to lose a percentage of your purchase due to damage. Have contacted them to show problem.

I’m sorry to say I have given up on Hobbycraft. The card making products are all but non existent now. Not worth the petrol money.

This was my first time using this shop. They did not have three of the items I required. Three of the items I did purchase I was over charged for and had to go back for refund which cost me more in petrol. I did receive an apology as the items had been misplaced but out of pocket. Wont be going again to the northampton branch.

I bought a lino cutting set and am really disappointed with it. No written instructions just 4 small pictures on the back. I had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to set the tools up, how to print the design onto the Lino and how to do the paint rolling. Very poor quality for the money too.

I made an order with hobbycraft online. The order should have arrived 8th Jan between 5 and 9. I have wasted 4 hours waiting and nobody came from their partner Hermes. Today I phoned hobbycraft customer service again. There was only 1 good employee John who got through to Hermes and asked where the parcel was. Other emloyees were rude and like robots. They just repeated that I should wait for the parcel. No further info or service. Even that my elderly mother was waiting outside with me didn't matter. Really really bad service, except John offcourse who did a good job and was friendly.

Flowers not that great and were very squished and flattened in the bag through post- . Think £2.99 delivery for light tiny paper artificial flowers is expensive . Would not buy from here again.

Purchased picture frame 40cm * 40cm. Glass required cleaning and found it to be very thin and with unusually sharp edges resulting in cuts to hand. I have previously framed all of our pictures with frames from other suppliers which had thicker glass and have never encountered this problem previously.

Jam jars I bought, were made in China, lids didn't seal and where really thin cheap metal, useless. They were sold as jars for jam and pickle making! I wouldnt buy them if you want your jam to keep for longer than a month (not airtight)

Be careful what you see on their website. The customer service confirmed what being advertised on Hobbycraft official site is out of their control. They don't need to follow the law and will continue posting their misleading ads. As of today their scam advert is still on their website which they claim "out of their control" 😂 Obviously they intend to leave it there and scam more people. Feel free share on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter #scamhobbycraft check response from other users who experience similarly. Many of us already reported this awful company to ASA. The more the better 😊

Rude staff in store and a customer service department who didn’t care. Clearly a company who don’t pride themselves on good customer service. Won’t be shopping in hobbycraft again.

Please check your prices before you buy. The only scissor sharpener cost £16 something, the same product cost £10-99 in Trago an outrageous difference and sorry l used it in belief that big HobbyCraft would be cheaper.Never again

for nearly 3 months now my wife and I have been going in to the store nearly every week wanting to buy loose pick and mix beads as she loves making jewellery with them. But every time we go in there's never any beads. We ask when are you going to be getting your beads in but we just keep getting told "we don't know, maybe next week, I don't know"... or, "theres a supply chain problem, maybe next week" but then when we go back a week later it is still the same situation with no beads.

Made a large order specifically from Hobbycraft because I needed Next Day Delivery. Order was not received the next day, or the day after. I currently have no items and I'm out of pocket by over £400. Hobbycraft refuse to refund me until they receive the items back at their warehouse but admit that 'once Royal Mail have the items, they have no control over where they go'. I have no timescale as to when I'll receive my money and until then, I have no funds to order the items from elsewhere. As a result of this, I checked some review sites and I wish I had done it before because I am clearly not the only person to have had a negative experience. I urge you to spend your money with a company that actually deserves your money.

Ordered 2 Jubilee Happy and Glorious fat quarter packs along with another pack as part of the 3 for £21, for Click and Collect at the Newport store. Received email to say it was ready to collect. Went to collect order and they brought different fabric as they couldn’t find the Jubilee fabric, staff thought it had been stolen even though it had shown as available when I ordered. Personally I think that it was sold to someone else as all the fabric has hidden security tags so they’d know if someone tried to steal it. Staff were not very helpful and weren’t happy to refund as it meant phoning customer services as payment was via PayPal. Complained to customer services and they offered me a £5 voucher which expires in 2 weeks and is of little use to me as I won’t be shopping there again.

Ordered 2 items last week which were due for delivery on the Friday. After opening the box I realised an item was missing. Contacted customer service to state this and to request the missing item to be sent out ASAP as it was needed on the weekend. Received a response showing a picture of 1 parcel being on the doorstep from hobbycraft and the customer service assistant stated "hope this helps you locate your order". I responded again reiterating that 1 item was received and 1 item was missing and therefore was not delivered. Then received an email this morning simply saying "Apologies." and that the item was out of stock so a refund had been issued. Regardless of stock issues the first customer assistants response was quite rude and he had clearly not read my message properly which shows a lack of care. Will not be ordering online again.

looked at web page sewing machine wanted said instock in store, 60 round trip not in store, still says it is next day. so ordered online next day delivery that not happened also. tried click collect 1hr to next day told by customer service could cancel prior order to do this also if not in store which still says is but not would have to come from warehouse if in stock which says it is. all very misleading. customer service said in store means if in stock in warehouse, click collect the same happens and next day delivery the same but does not say this on web page so total gamble if they have the product anywhere. gave one star as only way could write this. try shop and support local, amazon looking way forward for all future purchases. customer services said maybe delivered now on monday was ordered friday so next day delivery means the day after the day it may arrive if have it in stock
