“Stayed in Sandy Cove in Saltburn By The Sea. Stunning sea front apartment, modern, quiet and immaculate. Booking via Host and Stay was secure and easy. I will return. Thank you for making my holiday so perfect.”

“The Apartment was lovley and had everything you needed. It was really clean. Plus Biscuites on arrival and everything you could need. Even a TV in the bedroom. It was lovley.”

“High street , Caernarfon Wales Host & stay booking was easy to use couldn’t have done it any easier. But sadly on our stay in wales our property wasn’t what we expected . We were greeted by the smell of damp, mould , dust , hair in the fridge and live and dead woodlice in the property . We contact Host & stay to be told it would be re cleaned but sadly it wasn’t . I contacted them again after a day . Communication with host & stay was good but felt let down by no action taken . Would book again via Host & stay but would not stay again at property .”

“The Cottage, Staxton, Willerby Great location and base for exploring the North East coastline from Flamborough to Whitby and the North York Moors. Old cottage on a quiet street, easy access just off the main road. Adequate enough facilities, no dishwashing or cleaning supplies available, take or buy your own. Mind your heads upstairs, there are sloping ceilings in all rooms. Good communication from Host & Stay and issues reported to them were dealt with quickly. In its current condition, we probably wouldn't return to this particular property again. We did feel put out about having to pay a large security deposit after the time of booking and a non-refundable admin fee for the privilege, which we have never experienced in any other UK holiday cottage before.”

“From pulling up we did not want to leave. What a gorgeous place with everything you need and more. The horses became our friends, the hot tub was so nice and the privacy was lovely. Everything worked and it was home from home. Cannot wait to return and next time for longer.”

“Excellent accommodation. Very clean, with everything you need. Quiet location with the added bonus of a parking place. The bed was so comfortable I slept longer than I’ve done in years. Close to the town centre. Can’t say anything at all negative about this place. Definitely coming back.”

“Fantastic place to stay for comfort and location. My only gripe was other guests next door rowing till early hours but ya can’t blame Glencoe for next doors residents also the door closures are a bit noisy if folk don’t close the door quietly. . Wi-Fi is slow but not a real problem.. I will deffo be returning to this property on more occasions”

“Abbey heights Whitby we feel the check in time is late as we would have liked to be settled and unpacked earlier so we could explore what Whitby had to offer the accommodation was clean when we arrived,the living room could do with blinds or curtains as in the evenings while watching TV there was seagulls flying passed and it was aittle scary,the single bedroom could do with more hanging rails for clothes,the main bedroom the bed was uncomfy and dipped in the middle for the price we paid I would have expected to be checked in at 2pm and check out could do with being 11am as we were rushing to get packed and out by 10am.”

“Abbey court appartment 8 was fabulous. The apartment was very spacious and clean and has an enormous comfy bed. Views of the Abbey are spectacular. It's a five minute walk to the centre. Would definitely recommend”

“Lovely cottage. Very clean. New carpets had been laid. Minor issue with the door and response was quick. Could do with a few hooks upstairs in the bathroom, which is ready for a re-fit by today’s standards but can’t complain as overall, it’s great and we will return”

“First and foremost you have to deal with the smell of Cat Pee, the smell is horrendous so much so that we left a day early because of it. We had to buy a plug in air freshener for each room just to be able to go in them. This was in early reviews so I assumed it would have been dealt with. The bathroom smells of pee, the rugs were filthy. There were cobwebs everywhere considering we arrived as the cleaner left it was a bit of a poor effort. The only reason we stayed was because I knew there would be no chance of getting the money back and it was our holiday. I understand something's are out of your control but please address the smell as I would definitely not recommend the cottage to anyone. A very disappointed ex customer. ”
