I paid extra for next day delivery but did not receive the goods until at least 4 days later. Not happy. Will not be ordering from House of Fraser again.

I tried to return my Hoodie to the Metro center, I spoke to Angela on the Ralph Lauren Department. Angela was very rude and unhelpful. I will think twice about shopping at the House of Fraser. I have never been treated so appallingly by a member of staff at the House of Fraser.

No email confirmation email. The wrong design came on the item. Emailed customer service and there was no attempt for resolution. My advice in future if you don’t have the design in stock that’s on advertising then ‘out of stock’ needs to be stated. I now do not have luggage for my son to use and now have to fit the bill to send back an item I didn’t want in the first place! Very disappointed!!!

Ordered a pair of trainers when they arrived it was clear they were second hand and been used by someone for a number of days, scratched and dirty on the uppers and sole. I was told that I had to return them before an exchange which involved a trip to a shop that took returns via Hermes. Found out later that they had been supplied by Sports Direct a shop I never buy from as I don't consider them a reputable. I finally received a "new" pair today, everything considered I doubt I will use House of Fraser again and suggest others be prepared for second hand items if sent from Sports Direct.

I ordered a lovely top for grandsons birthday and when it arrived it STILL HAD SeCURITY TAB On so had to send it back. I have therefore missed birthday date and this is a disappointment.

Totally unimpressed by Jack Lakeland reversible jacket - size 18 was not true to size, it was tiny! I was told as I’d collected the jacket from instore I could only get an exchange item or credit but no refund due to Covid - Really!!! Abysmally poor service!

Really disappointed about the Service, I spend quite a large amount but still had to pay for delivery and return post. Such a big company. Really bad service

awful service. ordered items worth over £1100 and had to pay for delivery. They then cancelled half the order as it was out of stock but had still charged me the full amount. i originally ordered 17 items but have only received 6 items so far and not been refunded for the missing items nor is there an update on when they will be delivered. it has been 2 weeks since ordering. The items appear different on arrival from the website and there is no free returns service and only royal mail as an option which will be very expensive due to the need to track return them. never buying from them again online.

Very disappointed that my £60 Acqua di Parma diffuser arrived three quarters empty; it had leaked all inside the packaging. After emailing cs at HOF with numerous photographs I was told that I had to return any goods that I felt were faulty?! Poor customer service and disappointing service.

Shocking service! No contact number Ordered a dress I received the wrong item NOT what I ordered I then re ordered again only then to receive an email saying that I have changed my mind. Disappointing it’s real let down by House of Fraser.

Here is a copy of the email I sent to HoF this morning, only to have all of my pertinent comments ignored by what looks like a semi automated response - Dear Customer Service, I orde​red this bag and upon delivery I found it was damaged so I am returning it to you. When you receive this bag back you will find that there are three indentations at the top of the bag and this bag should never have been despatched in this condition. I am therefore very disappointed as this bag was intended as a Christmas gift selected by our daughter and we cannot see any more stock on your website. We took it to your HoF Metrocentre, Gateshead store yesterday in the hope we could exchange it for the same bag but again they had no more stock. We asked for a refund but they would not give us one ! Why not ? it is going to be returned to your warehouse one way or another. I am even more disappointed when I read on your Returns Advice " Postal charges of exchanges and returns are at the cost of the customer ....". So let us examine this for what has happened - We order the goods in good faith, expect a damage free bag and pay £4.99 delivery. We now have to pay return postage of probably around £3.10 (Royal Mail 2nd class) to return the bag to you due to HoF having insufficient quality control procedures to check bags prior to despatch. HoF store refuse to accept it back forcing us into paying delivery charges again. I am hopeful that you will see that this is not acceptable customer service and refund me £44.99 plus £8.09 postage we have incurred. (note - I mistakenly posted £48.99 earlier) I look forward to you agreeing to my comments. Yours sincerely Brian Waugh I think my comments are self explanatory and fair so I would ask "why do you have a customer service dept when your service to date has been absolutely terrible and all HoF seem to do is send automated messages which do not answer your obvious customer service shortcomings. The heading for this questionnaire request is "Your opinion matters to HoF " I would question whether it does. The very least you can do to my mind is either refund me, credit me or send a gift voucher for £8.09 as it wasn't my fault you sent me a damaged goods.

Do NOT buy The North Face, Ladies Quest jacket, size 8/XS in Navy/Tin Grey!!! Looks like a bargain price but it isn’t what it seems. I bought it and was sent a second-hand, very old, bobbly, XL, Nike Hoodie with the North Face jacket label attached to it. Absolutely appalling! I contacted customer services, and to cut a very long story short, I was told I couldn’t have an exchange as it was out of stock. It is now showing as in stock again a few days later, but this must be the item I returned! DO NOT BUY IT!!!!
