Ordered a jacket which came with the security tag still on, so after paying 7.99 for delivery which didn't come next day, I still had to go to the shop to get it removed. Submitted a ticket to customer service, got a generic response, replied to it and still hadn't heard anything. Joke.

I had to send an item of clothing back as it had a hole in it and I have had to pay the registered post to send it back.I think that is appalling especially as the item was faulty

Bought a jacket on line that didn’t fit paid 4.99 delivery, took it back to shop to be told only credit note or exchange, if I want a refund have to send it back !!! Outrageous. So another cost to send something back. Took the credit note as o was in the shop and of course will have to use it, but will never shop in house of Fraser again.

As I write this review I am still awaiting my goods and feedback from Customer services as to what is happening. Now a week and no wiser.... You still have my payment though !

Item sent with security tag still attached! Had to pay £3.70 to send it back !!!!! Unacceptable Certainly wont be ordering anything else any time soon

Ordered 3 expensive Ralph Lauren dresses which arrived bundled up in a small package which was so full it had burst open. I decided to return the items but cannot believe there is no couriers or local shop return option or a return to store unless you accept a credit note. I will never order from House of Fraser again. Unacceptable,

Bought this on clearance for £60 (+ £5 postage) and absolutely appalled when it arrived that HoF had completely misrepresented its value as on the box it said £42.99! This is not good enough. I want a full refund (did not accept the item). What is more had nothing but problems with this company, quality control is poor and still not refunded postage from items I have had to send back as faulty!

Terrible customer experience. My first time ordering from HoF and will never do so again. I ordered hunter wellington boots, they arrived the box was marked and damaged. They did not fit. I could not return to store as you don't guarantee a refund in store so I had to pay £14.50 to ship back to the returns team. I still have not received an refund - only an email saying my order has been cancelled. When I try to contact customer service the line goes dead no matter what option you select. Horrible customer service - I just want my refund owed to me.

Well, I ordered a couple of sweatshirts and totally my own fault ordered the wrong size. Unfortunately the package had blood on it, confined to the outside. Never having returned anything by mail I could see they had to be returned in their original packaging. When I queried this, which was difficult to do because you cannot call anyone, there is a finite amount of solutions posted. All I got was a request for photographs because there was a health concern. Like I was not aware! So they cannot go back and I have expensive dusters if I dare use them.

Really disappointed with your service, given the worth of what I purchased from you... Can't believe in this day and age you expect customers to pay for returning items! This was the first time I purchased an item from HOF online and it's definitely the last.

I ordered a table tennis table in March, £274.99 was deducted from my account in April. The table was not ever delivered. I have sent them 4 emails, you cannnot contact them by phone and have heard nothing from them

I had to pay for postage to return an item that did not fit. And i had to pay for postage for it to come out to me too. So i paid over £10 for nothing. Return postage should be FOC

Very disappointing experience awaiting refund due to item being faulty, item looked worn and had numerous faults. Customer Services have also not replied to my complaint.

The gloves are lovely and exactly what I wanted but the customer service was poor. I paid £35 plus £4.99 postage and when they arrived they had a £29 label on them. I contacted customer services to ask for a refund of the difference and they would not do it.

I’m very disappointed with the service from House of Fraser. It’s been a week since I ordered a watch, I’ve emailed on three occasions, called the manchester store several times only to get a dead tone on every possible number. My watch hasn’t arrived yet and this was to be a 40th birthday present which I attended without a gift- I’m a really stressed and disappointed. I’ve always been a loyal customer shopping at House of Fraser for the last 20 years - I have lost faith in it!

The whole delivery & returns is awful! Had no idea the customer had to pay for returns so I queued to return my items to a store (to save on postage costs) & queued for ages, got to till to be told I needed to send it back if I wanted a refund!! Absolutely awful customer service. Will never order or shop with you again.
