Extortionate postage costs, unethical returns policy, cheap Sports Direct garbage. Avoid any business linked to Mike Ashley like the plague.

My wife bought a watch I could not see the face of. I have asked for a refund but they will only give vouchers. Obviously when a company is in such a poor financial position why would you accept vouchers that will be worthless when they go into liquidation. Poor service lets hope we get a good honest retailer take there position when they do go bust. Don’t buy from this company unless you are prepared to lose money.

The fact that hour have to pay for deliver no matter how much you spend and then have to pay delivery to return it!

I ordered an item and paid for next day delivery before Christmas. The item has failed to arrive and it is now mid January. I sent an email to customer services but have still not received a reply.

Does not make it clear that return postage is no longer free. Will not order any longer from them.

Very poor service, product received was nit great and one item was really badly damaged - I have emailed to complain and still have not heard anything back! Very disappointed

I bought some items off HoF sales, didn't expect to receive items that are either faulty, broken or unusable. I understand some items can be already opened or re-packaged (badly) but to send out faulty items cannot be legal, more annoying that I have to return the faulty items at my cost. HoF should really be ashamed of themselves for doing this, I used to rate them on quality but this is a major disappointment to me and I think it's probably the last time I'll buy from Hof during its Sales period.

I still haven’t received my order over a week after a next day delivery was paid for. I have emailed customer service 3 times with 1 response that was nothing to do with the query. My order was over £500 and they were quick to take the money out of my account.

I am still awaiting delivery on a parcel which was processed on 31st Dec.?Not able to contact customer services to find out where it is so how do u expect me to review an item I dont have.

Purchased a Christmas gift early December. Still not received, delivery company refers you back to house of Fraser. I have emailed twice now and no response at all. Worst service I have received so far with on line purchases.

Awful service !! Made an order on 3rd December worth £65 and still not received !!! Emailed HOF over 40 times and no help....no contact number so pretty much lost my order/money, they shouldn’t get away with this at all !!

Very disappointed when having to return items. I found that I had to pay return postage which ended up being over £10. I bought goods from Mint Velvet which were of the same value only they included a return tracked label. I will not be doing online shopping with House of Fraser for this reason !!

Very bad experience with customer services, I purchased a coat on 18th December paid £7.99 for next day delivery, still not received my order, have emailed customer services many times with very little response back, I have been told I have to wait until house of Fraser hear back from Hermes, I understand things like this happen but not offered a refund until Hermes contact them is so bad! Saad from customer service has been dealing with me however the lack of communication and urgency is absolutely disgusting, have asked for a manager to contact me but no response! Would NEVER use this service again and would NEVER recommend!

If I could rate zero I would but it is not allowing me to. I ordered 3 pairs of UGG slippers in November 2020 before the black friday event. On delivery I had noticed that 2 pairs had the incorrect sizes within the boxes. I immediately notified House of Fraser by email, as there was no other way to make contact, they did not reply until 10 days later asking me for proof, however by this time I had already placed a 2nd order as due to black friday all sizes were selling out fast and had sent back the original wrong size slippers at my own cost. My case had been picked up by a lady called Samantha who clearly  was not reading any of my emails properly and was unhelpful to say the least. I had paid £4.99 delivery twice (total £9.98) and had paid to return the incorrect size slippers which cost be £11.00.  Samantha had refunded £4.99 with my refund of the slippers which had now sold out and offered me a gogw of £17.00, which when you take away my charges was actually only a gogw of £1.00!!! I advised this was not acceptable to which Samantha's reply was basically take it or leave it. Samantha had also offered me 20% off to which I explained that this offer is currently available to anyone online, she assured my I could use my gogw 20% off ontop of the 20% off available to all.  Low and behold I have gone to use this voucher today and it does not accept both. Once my matter is resolved, which I have lost all faith that it will be anytime soon, I will be avoiding using their services again and would urge anyone else to consider purchasing from here if possible as there is zero customer care and in the unlikely event that something does go wrong the after care service is disgusting.  I have worked in customer services myself for some time and do not feel HoF know the meaning.
