Products purchased were of a high standard but I feel that paying £4.99 for delivery then nearly £8 to return something is not worth it. Especially when most shops offer free delivery or returns.

House of Fraser do not offer free returns, which I complained about given covid lockdowns meant that I could not physically return any items to a store. They agreed to refund my postage, plus offered me a £10 store voucher, which I was happy with. I do however feel that free postage and returns should be offered, in line with most other large department stores (especially returns).

Good points great customer services, bad points are customers having to pay for returned goods even though you follow the guidelines on sizing!! Maybe they should only sell branded goods which are true to size!!

Hi The products I ordered were fine, although not suitable so I have returned them to you. I was very surprised when I returned them that I had to pay for the return. There are many outlets now who do not charge for returns, so in the future I will be using the outlets were I am not charged to return goods.

I ordered a "burgundy" coloured woollen jumper online, but had been disappointed at the lack of any bulky or thick seaters available(which I wanted). Although the jumper which arrived was thin (not good for winter), it was also more of a purple colour, not burgundy. But I'm wearing it, and it's comfortable. And at least the delivery was fairly prompt...

I don’t agree with paying for delivery & returns as this adds several pounds to the cost of buying from you and yet you may have nothing to show for it if you return your goods!

Poor packaging resulted in 3 of my 4 reef diffuser boxes being damaged. These were meant to be a house warming gift. A little embarrassed to say the least. I expect better when I'm paying £4.99 for delivery.

I have purchased quite a bit from House of Fraser, their click and collect and delivery was fabulous. I am however disappointed in that purchasing quite a bit at Christmas via my House of Fraser Recognition card, I was unable to benefit from the recognition discount - as I had always done in the past. I even queried this and was told that I was no longer eligible. If times were different, I would have returned it all instore as 30% was quite a discount.

Wrong size sent on 1 item - should be aged 8 years & received aged 10 years. Not impressed that you have to pay to return the item when it is their error!

Wrong pictures for products on the Ralph Lauren men’s shirt range. Delivery is quick, but frustrating you have to pay twice, once for it to come and again to send it back.

Since early December 2020 I have, for first time ever, on line shopped for clothing, only via house of Fraser which, when dingles of Exeter, was my favourite go to store ie London clothes available in Devon not 10 years later than everywhere else, as Devon is seen as retirement community only. There are vibrant fashion forward folk here in Devon, I’m one and not even Devonian or English, half Irish half Austrian. Intelligent, articulate yet sadly, registered disabled with an incurable inflammatory bowel disease which started aged 20 abs took local nhs 15 plus years to diagnose! I’ve lost my career, part of which was in fashion, I was exec personal assistant to a Texan managing director of a fashion manufacturing business uk based but travelled worldwide sourcing fabrics etc. Image was essential abd I’ve always lived well cut designer clothing. Long gone are the days when I could afford to dress in expensive clothing. My pip and essa dept of work and pension payments equate to under £11k per annum, I was earning in excess of £20k in 2002! House of Fraser sale has been a treasure trove for my tiny seriously ill size 6 to 8 body and the smaller sized designer garments I have eagerly snapped up. Nothing better to do as always in abs out of hospital, in agonising pain but still wanting to look smart. Champagne taste abs beer welfare state money having lost all my hard earned savings paying household bills years ago On the whole, ordering online with you had been fairly easy but, there have been numerous mess ups from either your picking, packing or shipping depts. I’ve had someone else’s garments sent to me, I’ve had expensive Ralph Lauren clothing sent screwed up outside or totally devoid of packaging, I’ve been accused, by you, if trying to return items purchased elsewhere. I have proof that these garments are in fact your garments shipped and delivered to me by house if Fraser personnel. The inferrence from your customer services dept anonymous printed letter, that I am trying to defraud your company out of about £60 for goods I ordered on my very first ever on line order with yourselves, defies belief! Harry of customer services has tried in vain to sort out all your errors which are countless. I’ve spent a lot of money with you, got bargain xs clothing as I’m in Covid shielding group, can’t go out as normal. It’s been dismal and stressful. I’ve spent tons with you, and appalling customer care, inefficient warehouse or packing staff with no respect for quality it any clothing or dirty fingerprints and body odour on boss £90 sale price dress arrived screwed up in ball in parcel. I’m not rich, what an insult and this has happened numerous times, with labels such as polo, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger etc???? A poor representation indeed and I hate internet shopping dreading each parcel arrival, wondering “what’s actually inside, is it dirty, worn, screwed up, packed properly or folded neatly by someone who cares!!! Expensive clothing, top labels but.... often despatched by your company in dreadful unpackaged, unlabelled sometimes, a large mans shirt I never even ordered, £125 price tag? Why send this to single, seriously ill not brain damaged by way, female who used to model clothing.... in Devon. Why? All the stress abd worry you’ve caused me, I’m currently awaiting urgent inpatient admission to Torbay hospital gastro ward due to ongoing flare up, stress exacerbating this vile illness. I’d welcome yr feedback, it’s all 100 per cent true, I can assure you

I used to buy a lot of clothes from h of f but now when you go on to ‘tops’ for example all you get is sports t shirts - it seems more geared up for very young people - I don’t think many young people that wear those kinds of clothes would regularly shop here. I am lady over 60 and you used to be my go to site but not anymore - where are all the clothes/tops ??????

House of Fraser was fine, product however was undelivered as courier claims that no one was at address which is manned 24/7. Neither did they attempt to phone me to say delivery was trying to be made. Item was returned and refunded and soured whole transaction.

The price was very good but you only get what you paid for, the quality is sports direct quality, even the tags look the same. Not the same store I knew from the past.
