I'm just here to add myself to the list of unhappy customers. I have had my printer for a year, and have only been able to actually use it a handful of times, since there are constant problems with my HP account. Why can't I just print a document? Why do I have to even use "HP Smart"? Oh...that's right, that way HP can try to charge me $60 to get my printer back online. I will probably end up throwing out this basically brand new printer and buying something else. I will never purchase an HP product again. The website/app are glitchy and I am not even able to access the support page that I need because a new window pops up asking me to rate the support website, and it covers half of the actual support page, with no way to close it out. I even tried leaving a review, and there is nowhere to submit it. The review instructions cut out mid-paragraph and there is no way to scroll down. Save yourself a headache and steer clear of HP!

I had a defective printer. I called HP and I ended up with a nice plan to buy a new one. They don't inform you that you have to enroll, so that's the trick. Now yesterday was my last day to enroll and I forgot to call last night, I was still trying to figure out what would work better than this one. Now, even tough I don't like the new printer I have to keep it in order to avoid to pay $270… What? No thank you, never again HP. I forgot to check the reviews before I called them. Terrible mistake. In order to get all this I was on the phone with HP over 80 minutes.. Please read reviews before you buy.

Great until…..they mailed me the wrong ink product..then they want me to print a return label on a printer that needs the black ink I ordered and never received…then wait until they get the wrong ink returned to them BEFORE they ship the black ink I needed and ordered online….HMMMM..And they want me chase down a FedEx store and NOT use a drop box..and I am ordering online because I am elderly and wanted a home delivered product!!!!!! Walmart is where I go from now on…

So bought a new printer today..... good printer but when registering it literally made me see 6 pictures of dice and had to pick the picture that added up to 14, TEN times to pass there stupid "Are you human crap" ...basically you are saying your time is far more important then your customers time.... if this is what you are going to do to your customers after paying you and buying your product I will buy Epson or anything else next time!

#1- The printer instructions stink. No one needs pics. Consumers need real instructions. #2- Hire people that speak English. I could not understand the technician. She sounded like she was from India. I will never purchase an HP product again.

I previously had a HP 8610 that worked fairly well than it needed a new head which was more expensive than a new one, so I purchased a HP 8020E, I registered the product and it worked for a few weeks and I was able to do everything with the app. A few weeks later I can't scan and it asks me for to finish the set up which was already done, and since your system is down, I'm not able to scan. at no time when I purchase a printer and scanner that was a warning that ether said I must be connected to the internet or your server, for some reason you even know if my printer is a sleep but you don't let me scan, this is totally unacceptable and will never purchase your products again, furthermore I will tell and post to everyone to do the same. Your page says that you have experience connectivity issues, no need for that it's my printer and scanner, I forgot apparently not because you control it all. please refund my money you thief's. WARNING Do not purchase HP products they are worse than TiKTOC You may see this post in other places

I will never buy an HP product again. I bought a Microsoft Laptop and an expensive HP Printer one year ago. Everything worked well. I then recently bought an HP Laptop and getting it to work with the HP Printer has been a nightmare. HP Support didn’t help at all. Multiple times their escalation team didn’t answer the phone at the agreed upon appointment time. Then they wanted me to pay extra to get any help on a laptop that is still under warranty. Buyer beware and avoid HP at all costs. HP also loads other trial software automatically, where you either have to buy the subscription or do a lot of work to disable the trial software. Do NOT buy their laptops.

I hate writing bad reviews but I am so mad. BE AWARE that if you cancel your subscription to Instant Ink and don't replace with store bought cartridges, after (for me, 2 1/2 weeks) they DISABLE your computer!! I wouldn't have been upset if I was told that when I cancelled. Today I am leaving and need to print some pages and I can't!! I told them to re enroll me then. It will not matter, they have chips (the ink cartridges) and they have been cancelled. I am so furious!! Now with no time to run to the store to buy new ones!!!

Warning to anyone looking to purchase from HP with extended warranty. I purchased my laptop around 12 months ago with a 3 year warranty. I had an issue with the fan grinding noise within 3 months which I did send back to HP (After about 2 hours of debugging on their support line) The item was returned repaired. Recently I noticed some Stuck pixels on my screen, they're red and green all around the screen. I sent it into HP after again, spending a stupid amount of time on their support and it came back with a new display, the issue still persists. So I spent another 2-3 hours on with support trying the exact same things I tried 5 days before and obviously nothing was fixed so it was booked in for another repair. When checking their system it said to get in contact with HP to get more information about the fault. So on Friday I got in touch asking what information they needed. No response. Until this morning when they notified me on WhatsApp as they hadn't heard from me they were closing my case. I've not heard from HP despite messaging Saturday and Sunday so I'm not sure why they closed the case? Anyway, I called today to try to get a resolution but I was cut off half way through the call. All in all, don't bother buying from HP if you care about getting your device fixed. I think I've given up at this point. My laptop was sent back in the same faulty condition I sent it in despite sending emails showing the issue. I'm unsure if their repair team are just incompetent or lazy as I never received a response and just had the laptop shipped back. I'll probably take it to a third party and claim any costs back against HP, seems the only way forward now.

I recently purchased an HP Envy Inspire 7220 series printer. First of all, trying to make the printer work with my laptop (and the network) was a pain. It wouldn't find the printer and I had to jump through hoops to get my laptop to communicate with the printer. (I miss the printer cables.) Then I had to install HP+ software, or something like that, to make the scanning function work. Again, another displeasure. It wouldn't see the printer either, so I had to jump through hoops. Then I had to disable collection gathering information. And finally, in order to scan something from the printer I bought, to the laptop I own, I had to create some kind of account on HP. That is stupid. I closed out and didn't install the software. What a horrible experience. I will not buy an HP again. I recommend stay away.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I have an HP 8030 series printer that is less than 3 years old. It started printing wide pink lines. I ran the 3 step cleaning troubleshooter, and it didn't work. Tried the virtual assistant chat, waste of time. Called customer service and their only advice was that if I upgraded to their Platinum Subscription status, they would help me purchase a new printer. WHAT? How about making products that last longer than a few years and that can be repaired? UGH. Will NOT purchase an HP this next go-round.

I purchased a HP 8034E over the phone with HP due to my HP officejet Pro printer paper feeder motor went out. The feeder for the 8034E can only hold 6 pages in the feeder, any more than 6 pages it jams. The paper tray you can't put more than 30 pages without it jamming. I have been trying to get a refund and HP reps either hang up on me or keep transferring me to different departments giving me the run around. This is really sad all I want is my money back this is crazy! I would have never thought HP would be a crook! I'm within my 30 day warranty!!!!

I bought a HP printer and hardly used it. I got 6 months subscription for free cartridges but I got one set because I did not use the printer enough. After 6 months I cancelled the subscription. Yesterday I needed to print out some pages, but could not because the ink light was flashing. Contacted HP customer service, not helpful at all. They said I cancelled my account.... I sent them screenshots showing I still had 3 months warranty, I did not cancel my account because I could log in, I cancelled my subscription because I do not use my printer enough. I sent picture of the cartridges and they admitted it's theirs. Clearly they do not wanna take responsibility for the fake cartridge. I have been with them on WhatsApp for about 4 hours and have not got anywhere yet. Just showing proof I have live account and 3 more months warranty. Unfortunately they need to do something!

Hi guys, I am or was a HUGE HP supporter and lost all my trust in the brand. Our first ever computer was an HP back in 1997 not to mention their printers ect. Always had great experiences. So I decided to buy a new HP ZBook G8 Studio Mobile Workstation for work. Amazing machine and so stylish, light weight. HORRIBLE WARRANTY! The LCD screen developed dead pixels. I created a case online, and had to drove a 100 miles or 160km to the nearest HP support center - BIG EYED To find out they have a backlog of 2 weeks. This meant as I cannot work. I got my machine back 2 weeks later with scratches and a slightly bent LCD screen - FREAKED OUT FACE. I opened a new case again - My dissappointment - when you are so happy to get the Ferrari you wanted and find out it needs to go back to the factory due to a manufacture error - BIG EYED - and then you get it back with deep scratches and a dent. Would not you want a replacement? I asked for that - and what I got - they will send a courier to pick it up and they will replace the 3 damaged panels and access the LCD display. I wondered: 'Will it be scratched again when it gets sent back to the same repair center? mmm..... OF COURSE YES.' I asked the agent, and if it gets scratched again, what next?? Reply: 'A new plan'. I'm lost for words...... And do not forget ANOTHER two weeks of lost time. My husband has a DELL - they drive to your home, replace the screen on-site and drive back - WITHOUT SCRATCHES. Why can HP not do that???? Who scratches a brand new unit with a flat-head screwdriver! O well, PLEASE DO NOT BUY ANY HP LAPTOPS!! Replacement units only get granted the first 30-days after your purchase. After that only repairs...with a flathead screwdrivers :) LOL DELL HAS NO ISSUES, THEY ARE PROUD OF THEIR PRODUCTS AND DO NOT MIND TO SHOW IT. YOU HAVE TOTALLY IMPRESSED ME AND MADE ME TO TRUST YOUR BRAND! DELL has productivity and excellence in mind.

Don’t even think about instant ink. They sent me a faulty colour cartridge which disabled the printer. Many hours later my complaint was terminated on What’s App. 6 hours later actually. All I wanted was a decent cartridge so I cancelled the contract (with a one month penalty) . It is impossible to speak to a human being, just a robot who tells you to do the same thing again and again ( clean contacts and switch off and on). Anyone want an HP printer before I send it to the tip? Bought an Epson Inktank and so far so good. Be warned, I have a PhD in engineering. Professor Peter Marshall Hayling Island

This is an extremley flawed service. Please be very very careful not to remove the printer from your HP Inatant Ink account. Or it will no longer be eligable for enrollment. They do not make this clear at any time during the point of sale of the HP printer or at the point of sale of the HP instrant ink program. My daught happened to 'Un-enroll' the printer on onlt three occasions. Now she is left with a printer that will cost the earth to run. Or HP reccomended buying a new printer! I dont think so. Please be careful and think twice. Or you will be left with a £200 printer paper weight.
