I bought from the Hypnia website and received a mattress made by Southern Foam, not Hypnia, no Hypnia branding, "cooltouch" on the cover, no receipt, no reply to emails.. if you want a southern Foam mattress you can contact them directly and get about 1/3 off the price. I want a full refund for misleading branding and item.

Mattress sags, very uncomfortable. Customer services never reply to emails. Tried to return within 100 days but emails went ignored. Worst purchase/ waste of money ever. AVOID.

Not impressed. Buying a new one after less than a year. It’s the most uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever owned. Even with rotating it regularly it’s compressed so much it’s solid.

So far my review will be 1 star due to ordering my matress on the 29th of March! It said between 2 to 4 weeks delivery which is fine but by the 23rd I'd not heard anything and would assume that I would get some form of update so I emailed and received a reply saying that I would recieve my matress in the first week of May as theye were slightly behind! I was told by Steven that thats only just over the time delivery date! OK so its late thats fine! Tuesday 4th May is till have no idea when my mattress will arrive so I sent an email asking for any updates, this was just ignored and I had no reply, I have sent another email today and hoping that with this review and my email and as a customer that has paid for an item someone might just be bothered to get back to me! The mattress is very good, exactly what I was after, but the customer service, delivery time, and communication were all abysmal. It took months for me to receive the mattress, and I was given false information every time I chased for an update - and it was chasing, because none of my emails were ever answered, and if I left a voicemail on the phone I never got a call back. It was only if I caught the one person in the office that I ever actually communicated with anyone, and even then I was lied to repeatedly about the readiness of my order. When I threatened to get a refund via Paypal the mattress finally shipped, but when it arrived it was just a block of foam with nothing to indicate this was a Hypnia mattress. Again, after several chase calls, I was promised a cover would be shipped, which after more chasing finally arrived. I am happy with the product, but you can get the same quality elsewhere, and I'd rather have paid more to another company than gone through all the stress and hassle I did with this one.

Bought mattress and not happy with it. Contacted customer services told me to send pictures of complaint which I did. Had to phone again as no one responded left message and received a call back, most insensitive gentleman!! who wouldn’t listen to me so want to return mattresses. Only had it 10 days and not even slept on it.

The mattress is fab Please don’t use Tufnell for your delivery They are incompetent and have no customer service. They don’t care if you are working or that the mistake is theirs they just expect you to sit and wait until they get around to it. Please please please choose a delivery service that puts the customer first. I need another mattress but I won’t be asking you, not because of covid, not because of brexit but because the customer is given no notice and expected to be sitting in waiting, even when they take a day off and Tufnell screws it up.

Not a 10 year guarantee as I have found out. It's actually a 5 year guarantee because each year after this period, the cover is reduced by 20% every year. So if your mattress is 8 years and 2 months old like my one, you are now in the ninth year of the guarantee and therefore you would have to pay 80% of the cost for a replacement despite Hypnia accepting my mattress had failed in its quality but only after I sent numerous photos as proof! Also be aware they operate under another company name "sleep tight memory foam" via eBay that hold stock despite Hypnia stating your mattress is made to order. I used to be a fan of Hypnia but when you scratch the surface .............. say no more, you decide !!!

The delivery took over a month and the company ignored my emails. Only when I got trading standards involved would they reply to me. Then they sent the mattress. I asked for a refund and this was refused. The mattress is for my daughter, not for me, she has said it isn’t the best (not the worst either) but I wouldn’t recommend or buy another. My advice would be buy a tempur as you get what you pay for!!

I got ripped off, i paid for a latex mattress for very specific reasons and was sent a mattress that did not contain any latex. Was only offered a refund if I paid £55 for a courier to pick the mattress up. I was told they would not give me a full refund. Then they deleted the ebay listing so I couldn't give them negative feedback or place a refund request. Disgusting company

Being a side sleeper, I was getting right shoulder ache after sleeping, so I opted for the 3inch topper. Have to say when I ordered I was a little sceptical, but it’s done the trick no more aching shoulder. Now a better uninterrupted nights sleep.

I’ve only had this mattress a few weeks but already notice that I have less back pains in the morning. It’s easier to get to sleep and you wake up so rested too.

I bought a Hypnia mattress and I’ve been very happy with it. I feel it has really improved my sleep a lot. Its perfect firmness too which I was really concerned about but it’s just perfect.

I bought a double size Hypnia mattress in 2010. I loved it. It was suggested, in the store, that I twist it round once a month for 6 months then when required as hubby was very over weight and the mattress might suffer. I did as suggested and all was perfect. In 2020, 10yrs later, a friend was having back trouble with a new, well known brand, double mattress. She complained to the manufacturer but got nowhere. I changed my bed to a super king size bed and mattress in 2017 and put my double bed and Hypnia mattress in the front bedroom as a spare for visitors. I made the big mistake of offering to let my friend borrow it to see if it was what she needed with the idea of her buying one. I put her mattress temporarily in its place at mine. It's still there 8 months later and she has in fact paid me for the Hypnia and says how well she now sleeps and with little to no more back pain. My 10yr old Hypnia mattress! I am of course stuck with the one she didn't like and it's left with me as a spare. I was so upset she wanted to keep mine I got rid of my 3yr old super king size, cheap one anyway, and bought a new Hypnia super king size, online, to replace it. Only one more thing to say "I am in love again". Thank you "Hypnia" for your quality and customer care. If I could give more than 5* I would.

Very uncomfortable worst buy i have made my previous old mattress was much comfier expected mattress to be much firmer but its extremely soft and i cant sleep on it i have to use the floor

Very disappointed. We have received one mattress after a 3 months of waiting and it was faulty. Hypnia sent another one straight away but is was faulty again and it is very soft and it is very different from the first one. We are waking up with terrible back pain. And the cover is different. I have a Hypnia mattress bought a year ago and it is with original Hypnia cover. These two faulty ones are not Hypnia at all or the quality is lower than before. Not happy at all. Do not recommend

we payed by paypal was told 3 weeks after 6 weeks and still no matress was told if would be with us in the next 2 weeks but still no mattress got our money refunded

We worked right through the first lockdown without a hitch, but Sadly during the later restrictions, we have suffered from supply issues at times. Most customers seem to understand the challenging times we are now operating in.
