Delivery service is awful. Both times I ordered things to be delivered and there were issues with the delivery and calling the number never helped. The delivery ended up taking 3-4 weeks and the process to locate the delivery and reschedule was horrible. the 888 number on the website is constantly not available (all circuits are busy). I physically had to go to the store and track down my order. The same exact thing happened twice. I don't recommend ordering online.

I have been on the phone for TWO DAYS and cannot place my kitchen order. No one is helpful at all. They keep saying they will call me, and no one does. It is impossible to get ahold of anyone on the phone.

Pray nothing is wrong with what you ordered and had delivered, because it takes over an hour for anyone to answer their customer service line at their 1.888.888.4532.

Do NOT buy the 4 drawer Galant! It is a nightmare from start to finish! First, let's start with the incorrect assembly instructions, then let's head to the unhelpful customer service, except for 1 of the 3 people I spoke with, then let's talk about a lock that complicates the building of the product. After having the lock, which I never set, get stuck, and taking it apart--again-- the drawers CONTINUE to get stuck closed. Apparently you can only open 1 drawer at a time, but now the top two drawers will not open, even one at a time when all others are closed. I spent close to $500 for the 4 drawers with optional bookcase, and feel like an idiot. AVIOD this overly complex piece of garbage.

I used the kitchen planning service and the guy who berated me for questioning him because he had years of experience and knew what he was doing got my order wrong. Had to wait on hold an hour with customer service to figure this out. I will now be driving 4 hours to get the part he forgot. I am not happy. The cabinets are hard to put together. Everything is delivered in parts. Try finding what you need in a hundred boxes. We have been working all day and still don’t have the cabinets installed. Won’t ever do this again. Wish I had ordered somewhere else.

Ikea just wasn't what it used to be. We made 3 return trips due to missing parts, bent screws and incomplete manuals. There appears to be a lack of precision and quality control.

love the merchandise there, top notch. been an ikea shopper for the last 20 years. I dislike coming to the ikea renton however. I doubt i am the only one. the workers there sure need some manners, some male cashier kid looks at me and starts laughing. I be like thanks ikea. way to make me feel welcome at your store! but all of this would be solved if every single cash register was open at 6:00pm on 12/27. there are very long lines and only like 5 registers open. will ikea ever get the automated scan machines? and like naughty by nature, it would smooth out the long lines. i mean great new place and all sun powered solid! you deserve respek for that. but please do train your employees. tell them to make the customer wait less when you see lines 25 deep! and maybe tell them not to laugh at me, that hurts my feelings.

We have done a couple IKEA kitchen remodels and they were lovely. However this current kitchen had a problem and it has been impossible to work with customer service. The people are unhelpful. It takes sometimes 45 minutes on hold to get through and then they say, "I have to put you on hold." They promise to email or call back and they don't. There "system" lacks notes. It is SHAMEFUL the way they treat their customers. I have NEVER experienced such poor service on a warrenty!

Ikea in Paramus nj. I love Ikea's stuff and they're competitively priced. And now for the bad, I waited 15 minutes on line and then it was my turn(so it was technically 20min.) Ridiculous. They have 20 registers(not sure the exact amount) but only 4 were open today at a quarter to 2. I also think that it's badly designed. Its very hard to find stuff and you can't just go in and out. it takes a lot of time to get thru the store. I also needed to walk a quarter of a mile to get to my car whether on my way in or on my way out depending if I parked by the entrance or exit. On the plus side if ur looking to shed lbs you have the right place.

If you purchase an item from from IKEA that requires assembly, good luck! The instructions are not all that clear and they appear to have been written to confuse rather than help you. I will never purchase another item from IKEA that requires assembly.

Ordered 5 piece set for bedroom July 11, 2017. Delivery finally arrived 2 weeks later than the anticipated date they said. Only 15 of the 17 boxes were delivered, could not finish the storage bed frame unit. After 1.5 hours on hold, they said they would ship out missing items and I would have the end of the week. 2 weeks later I called IKEA again (on hold for a little over an hour), said there was a delay in shipping out, should be there the next week. The next week I called the shipping company (phone # from my previous shipping sheet). They had not yet received the missing items. It is now August 22. I have not heard from either IKEA or the shipping company. This was after paying $300 for shipping. Nearest store is over 2 hours away. I can't believe the horrible customer service. I like the items after assembly but I don't think I would buy from them again or recommend them to friends.

We are so many years good customers of Ikea. We used to left our kids 3 times at playground. My younger son has 3 yers old,and he is exectly on line above.And today guy Bryan from Schaumburg,il location didn't mesure him as well,and said he is under line. My kids was very desapointed,especially my older son. Never will be back at this store. Viktor.

MISSING PARTS, SPECIAL SCREW MISSING SO TRIED DOING THEIR "mISSING pARTS" LINK AFTER A LONG SEARCH ON MY PHONE, FILLED IT OUT WITH PART#, AND AFTER HITTING SEND RESPONSE WAS' OPPS SOMETHING WENT WRONG"...THEN CALLED AND WAITED AT LEAST 10 MINUTES, REP SAID COULD GO BACK TO STORE ( 30 MILES AWAY) OR THEY'D MAIL HARDWARE PACK IN 3-5 BUSINESS DAYS...GREAT :(

Item was stocked in the wrong area noticed based on the amount total that it seemed wrong after review of the receipt asked the cashier if I he could fix the problem and he stated that I had to sit in another line to return the item and then grab the correct item. After a 15 minute wait the return lady was extremely rude and she then said I can go grab the correct item and purchase not that any of the 6 other employees could grab it! Then upon return with thre correct item had to wait again since she was assisting another customer while I was gone for 3 minutes. When asked I expressed by discontent she said I should have "balled-out" the cashier that she was trying to help me!!! Didn't know that was customer service or help!!

Worst customer service experience of my lifetime. They delivered the wrong sink, and after two weeks and 8 hours on the phone, I still don't have the right sink. What is worse, they won't tell me when I may get it.

I was making this trip by myself and had a number of items. I bought a bag to carry the items to my car. My problem was with the cashier. She was not very friendly or helpful. It took me a few minutes to open the bag I had bought. Then the items were beyond my reach to put in my bag. She was ignoring me and ringing up the next person. The little bit it saves not to help the customer, is not worth it. Customer service should be number one priority. Also, I signed up for the "family card" and it wouldn't work at the kiosk. Didn't scan and kept saying my email and password were incorrect. Very frustrating store.

I have been an Ikea customer for over 25 years and have put together over 50 Ikea items and been happy with their furniture and assembly instructions. The parts have always been in the package and the company has been great about replacing lost parts that were my fault. My complaint is with their delivery service. I ordered a bed in early February and had it delivered at a very high price for that service. it was delivered later in the month. I had the delivery guys put the bed packages in the guest room, but but the items were very heavy and I did not check until today when I planned to put the furniture together. When I unpacked the very last bottom box, I found the headboard had a big punched hole in it through the package. Of course they put it on the bottom so I did not notice the damage at the time of delivery. I guess it is my fault for not checking each box as it was brought in or taking the boxes apart at the time, but I had high expectations of Ikea. I have been on the phone for over 2 hours today and have yet to speak to anyone. I keep hearing the wonderful ad for deliver over and over again. Oh it is so convenient and easy, but they do not say how crappy their delivery service is. expensive and careless.

Paid for kitchen 15 k, hand to buy whirlpool appliances, normal companies wont feed in this kitchen. Now microwave is gone, and more than month I waiting to get it fixed ( they dont have parts, and no option to replace this junk) Frigidaire have air leak, they cant do nothing about it... Hood looking with lots of headaches junk and poor service.

Purchased HILLESJÖN 1 1/2 bowl dual mount sink, stainless steel. This is the cheapest sink ever! Setting ANYTHING inside scratches the surface. I've had this sink for 3 months and it looks like a family of gorilla's has owned it for ten years. I wipe down the sink after every use as I dont like to see water spots. I havent washed any dishes in it. Merely laying something in the sink, no matter how careful you are, will scratch it terribly. HUGE waste of money! It's almost embarrassing in my brand new kitchen. Needless to say, whenever someone asks, I always tell them where I purchased it and warn them not to make the same mistake as I did.
