Just spent £110 yesterday (Leeds store) on an Utrusta shelf unit only to find it’s been used before Pre marked holes had clearly had screws in before the rail supports were in place and there was damage and marking on the shelf. Seriously £110 for a second hand shelf bought in good faith as new 😡 It’s shaming totally shaming

Ikea has a reasonable priced furniture that are beautiful, functional and the quality is good for price. Their delivery service is great. They delivered on time and the delivery guys were very nice. The only issues I have with Ikea is that many times what I needed was out of stock and that shows the high demand for their products.

Horrible delivery service. Scheduled two times and both times they didn’t show with no explanation and not even an apology. Never again. Purchase elsewhere.

This is the worst experience I've had with Ikea Delivery service. I purchased four items for delivery and only received two. But the delivery guy and Ikea customer service only contact once for rescheduling another delivery for my missing pieces, but after that, no update, and I never received them at all! Such a terrible delivery and customer service!

Ordered from wedding registry and item still showing as still wanted ( 5 days later)...customer service could not change it to already purchased. Mailbox for registry department was full - this is no way to run a business-should have shown as purchased the day of.

Absolute garbage in every way! From the product itself to the delivery company to the customer service that you get if you tried to call. This company ruined the whole industry by coming up with the deceptive concept that it's cheap because you put it together yourself. They saved millions of dollars by getting rid of their assembly lines, firing thousands of workers around the world who worked on those lines, making us assemble it ourselves and then charge you the same money they would if it was already assembled. Now, everybody is doing the same and every company around the world is doing the same with almost all products. Next thing, car manufactures will tell you to put the car together yourself so it would be "cheaper for you"!

DO NOT even think of buying a DELAKTIG chaise longue because I very much doubt you will get it put together. The screw holes in the metal frame do not line up - I've been sent two frames and both had the same issues. Then you have to disassemble what you have managed to build and repackage the whole thing before they'll collect it. The STOCKHOLM sideboard has impossible/faulty? hinges and the doors keep falling off! I've put together loads of IKEA furniture and I know it's cheap but quality seems terrible now. Avoid the frustration and hours waiting for re-deliveries and returns - don't do it!

OK, you would think that Sweden would be more strict with they store anywhere in the world, right ? Well, they need to be more strict in their store in Schaumburg, IL. That place is a mess. First, lines are long at the register. They have million lanes and only 3 are working .Second, I bought a lamp that didn't work. I was trying to exchange it and I had to wait in the long ass line so the rude cashier can tell me that I have to purchase the damn thing again and then go to the other place and wait AGAIN in order to get my money back for the broken one. Who does that ???It supposed to be convenient to the customer and needless to say that there was NO SIGNS that you can't exchange at the long ass long line at the register.Fine, I go to the return department which was obviously dragging, so I finally get in line to the next moody "customer representative" with the attitude that told me again that I cannot just bring the NON FUNCTIONAL lamp and just exchange it for the functional. After all the drama, I come home and the new lamp is not working again. Can you believe it ? This place is going to hell.

I have been waiting 12 days for a product that I have paid for. Your call centre staff have repeatedly informed me that I am unable to get this product because they are having difficulty verifying that I haven’t received it and cannot contact the store in Halifax to get my order delivered in a timely fashion. I am VERY upset!!! Yesterday I received a product via FedEx to replace a damaged piece of a product already received. It was the wrong piece!! If you can send me the wrong piece that quickly, you can send me the right piece that quickly!

Did not received shipment on scheduled day. Customer service was useless and refused to refund the very pricey delivery fee we paid and refused to try to get it rescheduled for that day. Very bad experience, will never use ikea online again.

If I could leave negative stars I would. I go to Ikea to buy all my plants normally because of the “low” prices. I got up the register to buy 2 plants, one of which I have bought on two other occasions already. We ring out and they tell me it’s 35 each. I was shocked as there wasn’t a single sign that said 35 in front of the plants to begin with. Yes, I understand customers move things and they are not always where they are suppose to be but there was about 30 plants mixed in with another kind of plant. I thought one of the plants I was buying was 15 which is exactly what I paid 4 weeks ago and the other 25 as the two other signs stated. Of course I asked for a manager... the manager came up and of course had to wait for another manager who then finally got to me about 15 minutes later. Neither of these managers have ever heard of the phrases “the customers always right” or “take care of the customer”. Instead I was accused of lying and felt like I was being interrogated. I simply wanted to let them know that there wasn’t a single sign that said 35 dollars. You would assume the signs in front of the plants are the price of ALL the plants that were there. Ok, maybe I should of been a little smarter about matching the sticker from the pot to the sign but half the time you can’t read half the stuff on the sticker and to be honest I wouldn’t have even written this review if it wasn’t for the way they were talking to me as if I’m stupid and being way out of line. I also asked the guy to walk over to the plants with me in which he refused too. I am also still really confused why one of plants almost doubled in price from the last two times I came.

First time placing an order with Ikea and am very very impressed. Process was really simple and easy and my order has just been speedily received - on a Sunday. Also very pleased with my items ordered. Will definitely use your order service again and will highly recommend to friends and family. Many thanks.

I ordered 2 identical bookcases to match. Ordered at the same time from the same place. However one ended up in Manchester, the other in Exeter. And I'm expected to pay for the delivery. Don't use these clowns. Nothing good comes from Scandinavia, not even ABBA, they're over-rated!

I'm a builder and have installed several of their kitchens. This previous experience is awful and still ongoing. Plus, their customer service is sooo messed up! It was delivered to my billing address not the delivery address! So they closed the cargo door and left. WITH MY CUSTOMERS KITCHEN!!! Think twice! Very disappointed. Previous experiences good (ok). This one has cost me HOURS!!! See what happens tomorrow when they supposedly are delivering it to the correct address.
