“I have already completed my survey but I will repeat myself here in hopes that someone actually reads it and makes some changes. The in-country portion of the trip was excellent. Our guide Mohammed was terrific and was very knowledgeable and friendly and took time to answer our questions and try to make each day special. We were also happy with Sayid and Ibrahim as they were both good at their jobs and very friendly. The problem was with the travel agent. We had 12 flights during our trip and every single one had a different name on our documents which made it extremely difficult to check in each time. We also received conflicting information about upgrading seats which meant we were unable to do so. We were not the only people who were unhappy with the travel portion of the experience. Loved Egypt and the people and the places we saw! Would have trouble recommending Indus unless we were reassured that they had addressed our concerns.”

With complex itineraries involving multiple flights, airline systems can sometimes display name formats differently across segments, which can unfortunately create confusion during check-in. On the seat upgrade matter, I’d like to clarify that upgrade requests were made very close to the departure dates. At that stage, availability is often extremely limited, and in many cases, airlines do not allow upgrades on a one-way basis or for select segments only. This can restrict our ability to offer viable options, especially on multi-flight itineraries. We regret that this was not communicated more clearly at the time.
