“Indus Travel amazed me. I have traveled before with other tour companies and I have to say that the organization of Indus Travel was really neat. I received ahead of the trip the schedule of what to expect with times a locations. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and nice. The hotel was picked with care and we got a great hotel that went beyond our expectations. The airline selected was one of the best ones and the price of the trips were convenient. My next trip has already been decided and I will travel with Indus Travel.”

“My trip to Tuscany was a breathtaking experience. One of my bucket list items. The activities were well planned and the impromptu activities arranged by the agent were greatly appreciated - going a local opera event and dinner under the stars - were amazing. Our group got along well together and became fast friends. Definitely would do this again.”

“The best part was the friendship of the other travelers. Damir Kopljar was a terrific leader! Accommodations were outstanding. However elevators in the resort hotel were like simple service elevators....no ramps for disabled. The cuisine was excellent. People in Croatia and Slovenia were very nice and helpful. Although my husband missed some of the walks, I took most of the walking tours. Plitvice Lakes National Park was wonderful, Truffling was a great experience! it would be nice to add KRKA Waterfalls for swimming. The chef was entertaining. Thanks again for a wonderful experience!”

“Egypt was amazing! The best things were 1) Adel Adbo tour guide - he was outstanding - knowledgeable, kind , honest , and hard working - he did everything possible to ensure an unforgettable experience! 2) Great variety of included tours/events ( Aswan High Dam, Unfinshed Obelisk, Galabeya Party, Pyramids, Aswan Botanical Gardens,, horse cart to Edfu as well as numerous temples) 3) Transportation provided was clean, air conditioned and safe 4 )Hilton Ramses Hotel was very nice- however the location poor- unsafe to walk outside the hotel The not so good ........ 1) Ramos ( Indus rep in Cairo) - seemed very determined to sell more tours !! He did not understand how exhausted we were ! He was disorganized, especially when we arrived back in Cairo at 1 AM - we waited more than 30 minutes to get room keys - another very long day and late night considering we had another very full day in early morning- He did a very poor job - I think he thought his big smile would make him popular! 2)) itinerary- was either crazy busy - or nothing! Unbelievable that on the morning of arrival in Cairo that we could not check in to our rooms - instead made us feel that our only option was to pay for another excursion however too exhausted to enjoy- same thing on last day - check out of hotel was noon but not departing to airport until 1130 PM RIDICULOUS , for this reason alone I would not book or recommend Indus 3) Shams River cruise - absolutely not the quality one would expect especially since we were told it was an upgrade - rooms very tired , shower head sprayed water all over the wall soaking toilet paper, shabby furniture, food quality subpar , no coffee station for those early risers,pool water greenish. However the staff on the River cruise were wonderful. 4)We were not properly informed about the amount of tipping and also that Egyptian currency was preferred- frustrating to be told to take many US one dollar bills but that's not what they wanted ! Thank you for allowing me to express my my thoughts thoughts and concerns Debra Traichevich”

“the trip would have been better if the hotels were closer to more restaurants. Lots of us had to go to grocery stores. The last hotel we stayed was a 1/2 star at best.”

“Trip was not as described accurately in information provided. Lunch on October 31 was horrible. No info about meal choice or price. No healthy option for a diabetic.”

“As this was our first group trip, we don't have anything to compare it to. The accommodations ranged from ok to excellent, the meals in the hotels were good, and the transportation was good. The tour guide we had was fabulous and if he didn't know the answer to something, he would look it up right then and find the answer. Our bus driver was amazing! He navigated those narrow streets with ease! My only complaint is that our time was just a bit too structured. There was no time built in for exploring an area, and the time allowed for "lunch on your own" was at a designated restaurant. It was a great way to dip our toes into international travel, but really wish there was more "free" time in certain areas.”

“The trip itself was wonderful and Iceland exceeded my expectations. GJ Tours with our guide Thor was excellent. The lower rating is because of the runaround we were given by Indus obtaining our travel documents. They did not arrive until 5 days before our trip, leaving us to scramble with details and very stressed about whether the trip was even going to happen. Not acceptable customer service for us.”

“Our trip to Egypt and Dubai was great. The tour of the Pyramids of Giza was excellent. I have always wanted to see the Sphinx of Giza. I learned it is the protector of the Pyramids. We sailed down the Nile River and saw life on the river. Dubai was awesome also. we saw some of the biggest things in the world. Dubai does it BIG!! This was an excellent trip.”

“Was not happy with our trip to the Galapagos. The rest of our group went on a 5 hour snorkel with all the animals and Susan and I walked the beach and were taken to see the land tortoises, which we had toured the day before and walked to see 10 flamingos, which we could have done on our own. Very disappointing. Banks was another stop that we were all disappointed in as well. However, Edison, our guide and Marcos, our driver were amazing. Just disappointed that we weren't on the original boat that had cancelled after we booked our trip. The boat ride to the island was horrendous with everyone throwing up for the 2 hours. The cruiser would have been more delightful.”
